NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
Lowell, Масс. (Хоёрдугаар сар 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70-р annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central produced the most individual winners with seven, followed by Team Western with five, and Team Central had two.
The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, MA welterweight Kenny Larson (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.
Portland, ME bantamweight Christian Morales (Team Northern) continued his performance run in the tournament, winning a three-round decision, 5-0, over hometown Lowell favorite Marquis Fowler (Team Central) Моралес’ impressive showings in the tournament will lead him into an open division spot in next week’s New Englands.
In a Central N.E. (их Lowell) heavyweight final rematch, due to a round-time issue, Methuen’s Jesus Flores (Canal гудамж Боксын) defeated Haverhill’s John Roche (Haverhill Downtown Боксын) by the same score as their original match in another thrilling, back-and-forth bout ending a in three-round decision (5-0).
