“This is the opportunity I’ve been waiting for since I turned professional. I know I have to perform at a high level to prove I’m worthy of more TV dates. FS1 is where a lot of fights are on these days so I’m very appreciative to the PBC and FOX for giving me a chance to showcase my talent. “This has been a wild camp. I got great sparring at Wild Card with Hugo Centeno and a few others. I had to travel outside of my area to get the sparring I needed to prepare me for this fight. On the importance of staying undefeated…
“It’s very important for my career to remain undefeated. A win will keep me in the mix as far as fighting on big cards, especially on TV. This is a major crossroad in my career and the time is now for me to take it to the next level. I need to win this bout and march up the rankings, guaranteeing me more big fights.”
