Bayonne, Nueva Jersey (Julio 12, 2016)–En Sábado noche, August 27th, Nick Jayme’s Promociones LGM will be back with a star-studded card at the BCB Pavilion en Bayonne, Nueva Jersey.

En el evento principal, it will be a battle of New Jersey based welterweights as Alex Perez (18-2, 10 KOs) se enfrentará a Juan “La Bestia” Rodríguez (12-4, 5 KOs) in a bout scheduled for eight rounds and will be contested for the IBU World Welterweight title.

This will be Newark native Perez’ return to the ring after an eighteen-month layoff.

Pérez, 34 years-old turned professional in 2004 y ganó su primera 16 extremos. He has solid wins over Edy Chavez (1-0), Josh Sosa (10-1) and Francisco Figueroa (20-3). En marzo 14, 2009 Perez captured the WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation Welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Laureano Laracuente at the Coliseo Luis Aymat in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.

Perez was last seen in the ring, losing to Brandon Adams in the acclaimed Boxcino tournament on February 13, 2015 at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

La 29 años de edad, Rodríguez, hailing from Union City, New Jersey turned professional in 2009 y ganó su primera 11 extremos.

All four of Rodriguez’ defeats have come to undefeated fighters.

In a 10-round junior featherweight, Orlando “Orlandito” Del Valle (22-2, 16 KOs) will see action versus an opponent to be named in a 10-round bout.

Following a nationally televised unanimous decision victory, in his most recent fight against veteran Thomas Snow on May 13, 2016, en Washington, D.C., Del Valle looks to continue his momentum in the Bayonne ring for a fifth consecutive victory.

José Ortiz (3-3-2, 1 KO) de Jersey City, NJ will have his 3rd bout with Tyrone Luckey (8-6-2, 6 Nocáuts) de Neptuno, NJ en un combate de peso súper pluma.

The two met twice in 2015 with the first bout being declared a draw, while Luckey took the latest fight via unanimous decision on August 15, 2015 en Jersey City, Nueva Jersey.

Hakim Bryant (6-0, 4 Nocáuts) de Asbury Park, NJ will take on an opponent to be named in a middleweight bout.

Adding to the card’s pool of Garden State talent will also be undefeated junior welterweight Juan “El Terrible” Bauza (2-0, 2 KOs) de North Bergen, NJ to fight an opponent to be named.
