Groves, 29, has an experienced advantage over Cox in terms of quality opponents fought. The Groves-Cox winner will advance to the WBSS semifinals to face another Brit, IBO champion Chris “Gen Next” Eubank Jr., who knocked out previously undefeatedAvni Yildirim in the third round of last Saturday’s quarterfinals fight in Germany.

The 10-round co-feature is a WBSS Substitute Fight between British southpaw Nevojtore “Gorilla” Ryder (24-4, 12 KO) and WBC International super middleweight champion Patrick Neilson (29-1, 14 KO), of Denmark.
