LOS ANGELES (Dezembro 23, 2015) – An exciting week full of great boxing action kicks off on Terça-feira, Janeiro 19 como Premier Boxe dos Campeões (PBC) “Fight Week On FOX in LA” featuresundefeated prospect Jamal James (18-0, 9 KOs) assumindo 2008 U.S. Olímpico Javier “O intocável” Molina (17-1, 8 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight battle that headlines PBC TERÇA TOE-de-toe em FS1 e Boxe dos Campeões on FOX Deportes from Club Nokia em L.A.. Vivo.
Cobertura televisionada começa em 11 p.m. E/8 p.m. PT and features an exciting night of fights for fans watching at home and in attendance at the popular downtown Los Angeles venue.
The boxing action continues on Sábado, Janeiro 23 as PBC on FOX comes to STAPLES Center with an exciting primetime doubleheader featuring undefeated Danny “Rápido” Garcia (31-0, 18 KOs) e ex-campeão do mundo Robert “The Ghost” Guerreiro (33-3-1, 18 KOs) in a 12-round welterweight showdown and undefeated rising star Sargento Sammy “The Who Can mexicano” Vasquez (20-0, 14 KOs) against Los Angeles-native Aron Martinez (20-4-1, 4 KOs) in a welterweight battle that kicks off televised coverage at 8 p.m. E/5 p.m. PT.
“I’m excited to be able to showcase my skills on Janeiro 19,” said James. “It’s extra motivation to have a very formidable opponent in front of me in Javier Molina. I can’t wait to give the fans a show.”
“This is a huge opportunity for me to fight at home and it’s extra motivating to fight in the same venue where I made my pro debut,” Disse Molina. “I’ve seen Jamal fight in the amateurs. We haven’t fought but we know each other well. I’m very thankful to be in this position and I plan on making the most of it.

A tall welterweight at 6′ 2″, James is undefeated as a pro with victories over Wayne Martell, Angel Hernandez and Mohammed Kayongo to his name. The 27-year-old out of Minneapolis has had a big 2015 that began with victories over Michael Balasi and Daniel Sostre and culminated with a hard fought decision over Juan Carlos Abreu in September. He will look to keep that momentum going when he fights in California for the first time as a pro on Janeiro 19.
A 2008 U.S. Olímpico, the 25-year-old has an opportunity to make an impact in the welterweight division when he goes up against his stiffest test to date. He comes from a fighting family that includes his twin brother Oscar, um 2012 Mexican Olympian, and older brother Carlos. Fighting out of nearby Commerce, Califórnia, Molina stopped Lenwood Dozier in his last bout and has won eight fights in a row dating back to 2012.
