The boxing action continues on Sabato, Gennaio 23 as PBC on FOX comes to STAPLES Center with an exciting primetime doubleheader featuring undefeated Danny “Veloce” Garcia (31-0, 18 KO) e l'ex campione del mondo Robert “The Ghost” Guerriero (33-3-1, 18 KO) in a 12-round welterweight showdown and undefeated rising star Il sergente Sammy “The Who Can messicano” Vasquez (20-0, 14 KO) against Los Angeles-native Aron Martinez (20-4-1, 4 KO) in a welterweight battle that kicks off televised coverage at 8 p.m. E/5 p.m. PT.

We haven’t fought but we know each other well. I’m very thankful to be in this position and I plan on making the most of it.

A tall welterweight at 6′ 2″, James is undefeated as a pro with victories over Wayne Martell, Angel Hernandez and Mohammed Kayongo to his name. The 27-year-old out of Minneapolis has had a big 2015 that began with victories over Michael Balasi and Daniel Sostre and culminated with a hard fought decision over Juan Carlos Abreu in September. He will look to keep that momentum going when he fights in California for the first time as a pro on Gennaio 19.
La 2008 U.S. Olimpionico, the 25-year-old has an opportunity to make an impact in the welterweight division when he goes up against his stiffest test to date. He comes from a fighting family that includes his twin brother Oscar, un 2012 Mexican Olympian, and older brother Carlos. Fighting out of nearby Commerce, California, Molina stopped Lenwood Dozier in his last bout and has won eight fights in a row dating back to 2012.
