NOVA YORK - Maio 15, 2018 – Combate Americas today announced a live Univision Deportes Network (UDN) televisionar (11 p.m ET/8 p.m. PT) de, as well as one new matchup for its ‘Mexico vs. El Mundo’ Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event from Auditorio Municipal Tijuana in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico on Sexta-feira, Maio 18.
The nine-bout fight card will be highlighted by matchups between an assembly of top rising stars from Mexico and opponents from four other countries – the U.S., Espanha, Brazil and Chile – including a previously announced, much-anticipated featherweight (145 libras) showdown between knockout artists Marco Antonio "The Rock" Elpidio (7-2-1) da Cidade do México, México e Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (13-2) de Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.

In other live televised action announced today, a women’s strawweight (115 libras) matchup will see Georgina Almeraz (3-1) de Chihuahua, México e Mireia Garcia (0-0) of Barcelona, Spain make their respective Combate Americas debuts against one another.
Garcia, an unbeaten professional kickboxer and a protégé of “COPA COMBATE” tournament semifinalist Mark "Lufo" Gomez, will also make first start under MMA rules.
The preliminary bout card will be highlighted by a lightweight (155 libras) contest between hard-hitting Rodrigo “Kazula” Vargas (9-2) of Mexico City will collide with seasoned battler Mike "El Cucuy" De La Torre (14-8 (1)) de San Diego, Calif., U.S.
Another lightweight bout pitting Mexico against the U.S. caracterizará Alex “Bam” Velasco (7-1) de ensenada, Baja California, México, squaring off against fellow, aggressive striker Daniel “D-Rod” Rodriguez (5-1) de Los Angeles, Calif., U.S.
