Martinez was originally slated to face Francis Hernandez of Puerto Rico.

 

In other action announced for Combate Estrellas II,” prolific finisher Marcelo “Pitbull” Rojo (13-5) ຂອງ Cordoba, ອາ​ເຈນ​ຕິ​ນາ, ຈະ​ຫາຍ​ໄປ​ກັບ Fabian Galvan (8-3) of Monterrey in a bantamweight contest.
