This week’s show features Rich and Tom bragging about their UFC 211 main event predictions from last week. We also discuss the upcoming week’s boxing schedule and look back at some events in boxing from the last two weeks. We wrap up with a discussion about NASCAR and Bellator taking advantage of their common partnership with Monster energy drink. The two sports giants announced recently that Bellator will host fight cards at future racing events.

We also discuss some of the latest news, such as a claim made by Bob Arum that the UFC wants to take half of Conor MacGregor’s purse when and if he fights Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing match. We also have a good laugh about Rampage Jackson being mad at King Mo Lawal for “fat shaming” him.. Rampage’s defense is vintage Cartman from South Park: “I’m not fat, I’m just big boned.”

We look back at Golovkin vs. Jacobs and the unlikelihood of Canelo taking the fight with Golovkin now. We also preview King Mo Lawal vs. Rampage Jackson next Friday.

SALON SPORTIF DE COMBAT FNU: Spectacle hommage à Lou Duva, Le psychique Tom Padgett écrase absolument l'UFC 209 Prédictions, Garcia vs. Récapitulation et analyse de Thurman
Notre émission de cette semaine était consacrée à Lou Duva (en haut à droite avec notre co-animateur Tony Penecale). Lou est décédé plus tôt cette semaine à l'âge vénérable de 1994. Il était un grand ami de Rocky Marciano, un promoteur de 19 champions du monde, et un homme qui avait tous ses fers dans le seul feu qui a allumé sa vie: boxe. Le promoteur/entraîneur/manager/légende est apparu dans l'émission FNU Combat Sports il y a des années, mais malheureusement le son est granuleux et inégal. Si vous écoutez attentivement, les joyaux de notre discours l'emportent sur les points difficiles à entendre.
