Central New England (Greater Lowell) 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship Semifinals round results from Lowell

LOWELL, Masă. (Ianuarie 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Returning New England welterweight champion Xavier Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), a fost o 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, of Nashua, NH.

Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston led the hit parade with three winners, all in the novice class: categorie ușoară Jonathan Depina, semimijlocie Lipi Fernandes și mijlocie Brian Lawrence. LOWELL, Masă. (Ianuarie 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, Lawrence (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Jan. 8) in the Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals of the 70^lea annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) challenger Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.

Vega, who has a 33-3 Rezultatele amatori, didn’t start boxing until he was 17 because he has only one kidney. A construction worker by day, Vega hopes to become a professional boxer and, dacă nu, a Lawrence police officer in order to give back to his community.

14 Sâmbătă martie, la 6:00 pm

Alăturați-ne sâmbătă seara la 14 martie și bucurați-vă de excitare de box amator la nivel rădăcini de iarbă.

Acesta este un spectacol beneficiu box în sprijinul lui Gleason Dă un copil A Dream Foundation.

Cântărire în acest spectacol va începe la 4:00PM iar primul meci va începe la 6:00PM.

Toate crize noastre sunt sancționate de USABoxingMetro. Toate boxeri trebuie să aibă cartea lor box cu ei pentru a participa.

Fostul stele amatori, "Speedy’ Rashidi Ellis ( 13-0, 10 Lui KO ) de la Lynn, Massachusetts va reveni la inelul sâmbătă, 14 martie la Roger L. Mendoza Coliseum în Caguas, Puerto Rico.
