LARANJA, Califa. (Maio 18, 2015) – Esta sexta-feira night at the Omega Products Outdoor Arena, o 2015 Boxcino finals will take place in the heavyweight and jr. middleweight divisions.
The fights will be televised on ESPN Friday Night Fights beginning at 10 PM ET.

O 2015 Boxcino Tournament is promoted by Banner Promotions.

Sexta-feira show is promoted by Thompson Boxing and Banner Promotions.
The stakes just grew even more as two more belts have been added to each final bout.
In the heavyweight final between Andrey Fedosov e Donovan Dennis, the WBA Fedelatin and the WBO Intercontinental titles will be on the line, in addition to the Boxcino 2015 Heavyweight championship.
No Jr. middleweight bout between Brandon Adams e John Thompson, the NABA Interim Super Welterweight title as well as the WBO Intercontinental Jr. Middleweight belts will be contested for, in addition to the Boxcino 2015 Jr. Título dos médios.

Alyson DeRenzis wins Boxcino Bracket Challenge

Filadélfia, PA (Maio 6, 2015)— Banner Promotions is pleased to announce that Alyson DeRenzis has taken first place in the Boxcino Bracket Challenge.
Alyson will take home the grand prize of two ringside tickets to the Boxcino finals that will take place on Maio 22 em Corona, Califórnia, a full roundtrip for two to the finals, complete with a hotel stay and meals for two, as well as a guest invitation to the pre-fight weigh in and post fight press conference. LARANJA, Califa. (Maio 5, 2015) – Middleweight júnior Brandon Adams (16-1, 12 KOs) is returning to a familiar situation. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (Abril 21, 2015)— Banheiro “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Maio 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO).

Thompson is in Virginia, training under Kay Koroma and he is looking to win the prestigious tournament against Thompson in the 10-round bout at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, Califórnia.
Thompson (16-1, 5 KO) is coming off a 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod on April 10 em Belém, PA.
“I outboxed the guy,” disse Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”

“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

CARSON, Califa. I’m OK, but I definitely would love a rematch.”

Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO) is the reigning WBC and Ring Magazine middleweight world champion and the first native of Puerto Rico to become world champion in four different weight classes. He is the former WBO junior welterweight world champion, the former WBA welterweight world champion, the former WBO welterweight world champion and the former WBA super welterweight world champion. Brandon Adams e John Thompson won semifinal bouts in the Boxcino 2015 Jr. Middleweight Tournament while Andrey Fedosov e Donovan Dennis scored impressive stoppage victories in the Heavyweight tournament, as all four punched their tickets to the finals in bouts that took place this past Sexta-feira no Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.
The bouts were televised live on ESPN Sexta-feira Night Fights.
The show was promoted by Banner Promotions, Inc.
The finals of both weight classes will take place on Sexta-feira, Maio 22 at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, California and will be aired live on ESPN Sexta-feira Night Fights.
Brandon Adams lands the uppercut
Adams took out longtime friend Vito Gasparyan in round seven of their scheduled 8-round bout.
Adams worked very well on the inside as he landed some solid shots to the head and landed to the body nicely. Gasparyan hung tough against his one-time sparring partner but the amount of solid punches began to show on Gasparyan and the bout was stopped 35 seconds into round seven with a badly swollen left ear.
Adams, 155 1/2 lbs of Los Angeles moves onto the finals with a record of 17-1 com 12 nocautes. Gasparyan, 154 lbs of Burbank, CA é agora 15-4-5. Adams will not meet John Thompson.
John Thompson won an 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod.
Thompson lands the right hand
Thompson boxed well early as he used his jab to set up three and four punch combinations, while Skorokhod landed some good power shots. Skorokhod was cut around his right eye in round two while Thompson suffered a cut in the same area in round four.
Thompson did well when the fight was in the center of the ring. Skorokhod landed several flush punches but it wasn’t enough as the judges preferred the boxing of Thompson to the tune of 78-74 e 77-75 while Skorokhod won a card 78-74.
Thompson, 154 3/4 lbs de Newark, NJ is now 16-1. Skorokhod, 153 3/4 lbs of Los Angeles via Ukraine is now 9-1.
“I had to box him as he was swinging wild. I outboxed him. He was just swinging and not throwing any straight shots,” disse Thompson.
Dennis lands the knockout blow

scored a highlight reel 2nd round stoppage over 6’7″ Razvan Cojnau.
Dennis landed a thudding straight left that landed flush on the chin of Cojanu and the big man fell flat on the canvas and the bout was stopped 59 seconds into round two.
“I used my speed, quick feet and combinations,” said Dennis. “I saw an opening in the first round and then in the second I came with an overhand left that landed right on the button and he crumbled to the canvas.”
The punch was so devastating that it was ESPN Sports Center top play of the night.
On fighting Andrey Fedosov in the finals, “It is going to be a tough fight and I will have to work harder.”
Dennis, 224 1/4 lbs of Davenport, IA is now 12-1 com 10 nocautes. Cojanu, 255 1/2 lbs of Los Angeles via Romania is now 13-2.
Andrey Fedosov shook off a first round knockdown to comeback and register a third round stoppage over Lenroy Thomas.
Fedosov works the body
Just seconds into the bout, Thomas landed a straight left and sent Fedosov to the canvas. Fedosov came back in round three and landed a ripping combination that led to Thomas to a knee and and he did not beat referee Gary Rosado’s count at 1:01 de três rounds.

BROOKLYN (Abril 12, 2015) – Premier Boxe dos Campeões em NBC voltou com duas lutas emocionantes Sábado noite quanto Danny “Rápido” Garcia (30-0, 17 KOs) derrotado Lamont Peterson (33-3-1, 17 KOs) por decisão da maioria e “Irlandês” Andy Lee (34-2-1, 24 KOs) e Peter “Chocolate Kid” Quillin (31-0-1, 22 KOs) lutaram para um empate Split em Barclays Center.

Filadélfia (Abril 8, 2015)-–Esta sexta-feira noite no Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, o Boxcino 2015 semifinals will take place in both the heavyweight and jr. middleweight divisions. All eight fighters have been training hard for this great opportunity that will be broadcasted live on ESPN Friday Night Fights beginning at 9 PM ET.
