LACEY TO TAKE ON BELLATOR VETERAN AT NEF 28

Voor onmiddellijke publicatie: Lewiston, Maine (Maart 7, 2017) – New England Fights (NEF) presenteert zijn volgende mixed-martial-arts-evenement “NEF 28: ONOVERWINNELIJK” op zaterdag, April 29, 2017 op de Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine. Aaron Lacey, undefeated as a professional, has won seven in a row going back to his amateur career. He was prepared to compete at “NEF 27” vorige maand, but Mother Nature had other plans when a snowstorm prevented his opponent from making the trip to Lewiston from Florida. The setback has made Lacey even hungrier to return to action, but the Young’s MMA standout knows that he has his toughest test to date in front of him in the form of Cotito.

“This is going to be an amazing fight,” said Lacey. “Walter is a skilled and dangerous opponent, and he is realistically one of the most dangerous people I have fought to date. That’s alright with me though – the tougher the opponent, hoe harder ik werk. After what went down in February, I’m chomping at the bit to get back in there.”

The fight for Cotito will represent a rubber match of sorts with Young’s opponents. In the spring of 2013, Cotito took Ray Wood (8-3) deep into the third round before Wood, then Young’s standout featherweight prospect, was able to finish the fight. Cotito would gain a measure of revenge against the Bangor gym when he submitted Bruce Boyington (14-10) bij “NEF X” later that year. Between a pair of recent appearances for global fight promotion Bellator, Cotito scored a second-round submission of Elias Leland (3-2) bij “NEF 25” last September.

BOEDAPEST — (Februari 8, 2017) – Bellator is returning to Hungary with a bantamweight world title fight pitting Eduardo "Dudu" Dantas (19-4) tegen Darrion "The Wolf" Caldwell (10-1) serving as the main event of Bellator 177: Dantas versus. Caldwell from the Budapest Sports Arena on April 14. The MMA portion of the evening will also feature a featherweight bout between Hungarian-born Adam “The Kid” Borics (5-0) en Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor (1-2).

TORINO (Februari. 7, 2017) – Bellator President Scott Coker today announced that his fast-rising promotion will be revisiting Torino, Italy for Bellator 176, which will be immediatelyfollowed by Bellator kickboksen 5 at the Pala Alpitour on Zaterdag, April 8.

Less than one year ago, Bellator hosted it’s first-ever international event at the Pala Alpitour in front of a sold-out crowd of over 15,000 fans. Since that show, the company has rapidly and successfully expanded across the globe under the direction of Coker, visiting London, Dublin, Boedapest, Israël, Florence and has an event booked in Belfast later this month.

The highly-anticipated return to Torino will feature MMA action starting met Carrington “Jetsetter” Banks (6-0) vs. Mihail Nica (5-0) in welterweight action as well as Djamal Chan (12-3) vs. Mircea Valeriu (13-4) in een lichtgewicht affaire. CHRIS HONEYCUTT-KENDALL GROVE SET FOR 2017 DEBUTS IN MIDDLEWEIGHT SHOWDOWN

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (Februari 3, 2017) – A welterweight fight pitting Andrey Koreshkov (19-2) tegen Fernando Gonzalez (25-14) and a middleweight bout featuring Chris Honeycutt (9-1, 1 NC) tegen Kendall Grove (23-16, 1 NC) toegevoegd aan de hoofdkaart van Bellator 174: Corenen vs. Voordeel maart 3 at WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, OK.

The bouts will join a card that is headlined by the first-ever Bellator MMA Women’s Featherweight World Title fight pitting Marloes Coenen (23-7) tegen Julia Budd (9-2). One additional main card contest will be announced shortly.

Hailing from Maui, Hawaii, Grove will be making his make his eighth appearance for Bellator MMA, as the veteran continues to climb the ranks in a competitive middleweight class. “Da Spyder” has finished 17 zijn 23 career victims, including seven of his last eight, making him must-see television every time he competes on SPIKE.
