Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “Da Beast” Baiz (13-1, 5 Նոկաուտով) ընդդեմ Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 Նոկաուտով). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorecards read 40-35 across the board for Baiz.
San Antonio TV (KSAT) ABC’s local digital channel, aired the event live on devices such as Roku, Amazon, and Apple TV. Subscribers were able to watch the fights for free over the internet.
