Philadelphia, PA (Luglio 12, 2016)–Banner Promotions is pleased to announce the re-signing of former world title challenger and Boxcino 2014 Medio campione, Willie Monroe Jr. to an exclusive promotional agreement.
Monroe di Rochester, New York ha un record di 20-2 con 6 knockouts and is coming off a 10-round unanimous decision over fellow former world title challenger and Boxcino champion, John Thompson on June 11th in Verona, New York.
Il 29 year-old Monroe turned professional in 2008 e ha vinto il suo primo 10 estremità. Monroe won the 2014 Boxcino Middleweight tournament with wins over Donatas Bondorovas, Vitally Kopylenko, e Brandon Adams.
Those wins catapulted him into a bout with WBA/Interim WBC Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
Monroe performed admirably in the bout, which took place on May 16, 2015 al Forum di Inglewood, California.
