The Russian fighter, who now trains in California with Abel Sanchez, was able to start working through the defense of Shimmell with his jab as the round wore on. The final blow came after Gassiev imitated a right hand and delivered the critical left hook while Shimmell was caught counter-punching.

Nofire tried to weather the storm but a big right hand from Abell again put Nofire down early in the third round. Nofire almost made it out of the round but Abell’s power in the left hand proved to be too much as a series of strong shots sent Nofire down for the final time before his corner stopped the fight.
Abell could hardly miss as he connected on 42 percent of his punches on his way to the stoppage at 2:12 פון די דריט קייַלעכיק.

“The head butts were giving me problems and he followed up on me after them. He was a little stronger than I expected but I’ve been hit hard like that by other fighters.

The collision course that the two big men are on will divide the British fans in attendance as the three-round attraction sees Northern UK go head to head with Southern UK, with both men looking for the big KO.

Several preliminary matchups have been revealed, including former Big Brother winner Alex Reid (10-9-1-1), who has been scheduled to fight against an opponent to be announced later.

The exciting heavyweight is known to leave it all on the line, as evidenced by the fact that he has never let a fight go to the judge’s scorecards. Mulheron won a regional title with the M4TC promotion, and will be competing in Bellator for the first time. “I don’t really go into fights with a game plan,” said Mulheron. “I go in with an open mind. I think every fighter needs to be able to adapt in fights but everyone who watches me knows I come to fight and this fight will be no different.”

Growing up in New Jersey, Caldwell was a talented, multi-sport athlete who shined the brightest on the wrestling mats. After becoming a three-time high school state champion in New Jersey, “The Wolf” naturally joined “The Wolfpack,” earning a spot on the North Carolina State University wrestling squad. With the Wolfpack, he continued dominate his opponents, winning the NCAA national wrestling championship in 2009.

 

Making his professional MMA debut in 2012, the 28-year-old has looked seemingly unstoppable at times throughout his first nine fights. אין זיין לעצט עקסקורסיע, the six-fight Bellator MMA veteran Caldwell convincingly defeated former two-division Bellator champion, and Greco-Roman world champion wrestler Joe Warren. Caldwell is nothing if not confident in himself, continuing with host Ariel Helwani: “I’ve always been a star, but it’s just been about getting on that platform and Bellator is giving me that opportunity… I don’t think any 135-pounder can see me, ya feel me?
