The fight was close, but I thought I edged it out. In the last round I had him in trouble and he spit his mouthpiece out. I was on my way to getting a 10-8 undique, which would have given me the win. He did a veteran move in there.
If I would have won that, I would be fighting for a world title. I wanted to win that fight in general, but I look forward to the next fight. Maybe I wasn’t supposed to get the title shot now. I just have to work and that shot will come. I just have to be patient.
