NEW YORK (Maart 29, 2016) – The fifth annual New York State Boxing Hall of Fame (NYSBHOF) inductie diner, gesponsord door Ring 8, will be held this Zondag middag (April 3 – 12:30-5:30 p.m.) bij Russo's On The Bay in Howard Beach, New York.

Elke inductee zal een speciaal ontworpen band ontvangt betekenende zijn inductie in de NYSBHOF. Plaques are on display at the New York State Athletic Commission.
De 2016 inductees werden geselecteerd door de NYSBHOF leden benoemingscommissie: Jack Hirsch, Steve Farhood, Bobby Cassidy, Jr., Don Majeski, Henry Hascup, Ron McNair, Angelo Prospero en neil Terens.
Alle boksers die nodig zijn om actief te zijn gedurende ten minste drie jaar in aanmerking te komen voor NYSBHOF inductie, en alle inductees moeten hebben gewoond in de staat New York voor een belangrijk deel van hun boksen carrière of tijdens de bloei van hun carrière.
