Gamboa will appear for the first time at this years’ Expo and will be signing gloves, photos and selling merchandise. Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures with the former world champion and Olympic Gold medalist.

He will be raising money for an amazing woman named Ivonne Lugo, who suffers from PKD, an inherited chronic kidney disease. She is in urgent need of a liver and kidney transplant. Gamboa joins the list of over 50 current and past World Champions boxers who have appeared at the Expo, meeting their fans in person.

Gamboa is a Cuban professional boxer. He is a former unified pană campion mondial, having held the WBA title from 2009 pentru 2011, și IBF title from 2010 pentru 2011. As an amator he won a gold medal in the greutate zbura division at the 2004 Jocurile Olimpice, and bronze in the featherweight division at the 2005 World Championships.
