CHELYABINSK, Rusia (Junio 1, 2018) – de peso medio brasileño Bruno Silva shocked Alexander Shlemenko with an opening round stoppage to set-up a potential showdown with M-1 Challenge champion Artiom Frolov, who defeated American challenger Joe “Diesel” Riggs earlier this evening (Viernes) en M-1 Desafío 93 en Chelyabinsk, Rusia.
To say the least, Silva (18-6-0) was impressive in his M-1 Global debut, knocking out the former Bellator champion Shlemenko (56-11-1), al 2:54 de la primera ronda. Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) suffered a torn ligament in his elbow during training camp. In a M-1 Challenge Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament semifinals match last February, Vasilevsky lost a majority decision to Shlemenko in the M-1 Desafío 64 Pelea de la Noche.

PETERSBURG, Rusia (Abril 28, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced a blockbuster M-1 Desafío 68 event as Ramadán Emeev y Alejandro “Tormenta” Shlemenko battle in the M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Championship, while M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Alejandro “Drago” Volkov makes his first title defense against Atila “Pumuklo” Vegh, Jueves noche, Junio 16, at Yubileyny Sports Palace in St. Petersburgo, Rusia.

Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0), fighting out of Russia by way of Daguestán, is the reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, although his title belt will not be at stake against Shlemenko. Alexander Volkov captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight title
MOSCÚ (Febrero 20, 2016) – Veteran Russian fighters Alexander Shlemenkloy Alexander Volkov were the big winners in M-1 Desafío 64 action last night at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
Shlemenko (52-9-0), tres veces campeón de Bellator, returned to M-1 Global in grand style, winning a close but unanimous decision over former 2-division M-1 Challenge division Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (28-3-0), de Rusia, in their M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament match.
