Atlantic City, NJ (Listopad 14, 2017)–The stakes have grown for the exciting co-feature bout between Raymond Serrano i niepokonany Enver Halili at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

“Camp has been very good, I am just dropping the last couple pounds. I have been sparring with Miguel Cotto and some of the top MMA fighters as well. I have one of the top trainer’s in the gym Ernie Zavala working my corner,” Said Serrano.
Serrano has trained in Philadelphia and Puerto Rico all over the world and has noticed a difference working out at one of the most famous gyms world.
“The difference in training at Wild Card is that there are so many good fighters there and everywhere you look there is a top level fighter who si working hard.”
In Halili he knows he is in with a fighter who is coming to win and bring the best out of Serrano.
“I really don’t know too much about him. I saw some old footage of him, and I can see that he is a boxer. He is undefeated, so he is coming to win and that should make for a good fight.”
It was five years ago when Serrano was a prize prospect with an 18-0 rekord, and he was on the brink of major fights, before a stretch where Serrano was able to go just 5-4, yet Serrano believes that he is just a win or two away from a major fight.
“I feel like with a win, I am just a phone call away from a big fight. Even thought I am not ranked, I know I can compete with the big names of the division. This win should get me the belt and also the rankings. I just want to continue to climb the ladder. People forget that I am just 28 years-old and I am in my prime. Little by little with my manager Mark Cipparone. I just want to let everyone know that this Saturday, November 18th there will be a new WBC Fecarbox champion, and that will be me, Raymond “Tito” Serrano.”

“This is boxing and changes always happen. I was looking forward to fighting Mendez but due to visa issues, that killed the fight. I’m not taking Amoako lightly because any fighter is dangerous in their own way. Amoako has fought a lot of good fighters and only been stopped twice in his career. Atlantic City, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender Thomas Lamanna as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at Hotel Claridge W Atlantic City.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, the fighter known as “Cornflake” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.

In round six, LaManna was dominant by scoring two knockdowns from body shots. LaManna was relentless in battering Sosa all over the ring with Sosa lucky to hear the bell to culminate the round. Both guys traded hard shots down the stretch with LaManna getting the better of the action. Every so often, Sosa was able to score with hard shots, but they were few and far between.
LaManna sat down on his punches and landed thudding blows as he tried to get the stoppage against the tough Sosa.

Both main event fighters recently gave their final comments before Saturday’s showdown.

The show is expected to be the 9th sold-out show at the Claridge promoted by Rising Promotions.
“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.
The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, Listopad 8, 2014).
LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.
The 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 23-2 z dziewięciu nokautów, and he is currently riding a two fight win streak, and is undefeated in 2017.
The six-year professional is 4-1 as a Welterweight and has credible wins over Kendal Mena, and Ayi Bruce as well as his last two victories, which have come over Eduardo Flores and Carlos Winston Velasquez, who stepped into the ring with 52 i 54 fights under their belt.
LaManna dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to undefeated Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (30-0-1 16 KO) on September 15th, 2016 in a very high intense battle that was contested for the USBA Title. The LaManna/Harrison fight is a candidate for Fight of the Year for local Philadelphia boxing award “Briscoe Award”
This will be LaManna’s 6th fight at The Claridge, and his 16th fight in Atlantic City.

I have seen Sosa fight on our last card and he is very game, durable and strong so I cannot take him lightly. Filadelfia – Czerwiec 27, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions’ most talked-about prospect, Jaron “Boots” Ennis, has much to celebrate for his 20th birthday today. The Philadelphia welterweight secured his 13th win at the Durham Armory in North Carolina last Thursday, besting Robert Hill over three rounds.

Wzgórze, a veteran of forty fights, came to Durham just one fight removed from an impressive upset victory over the Dominican Republic’s Eudy Bernardo (21-2, 15KO). After three rounds that included Ennis’ trademark punishment to the body, Hill’s corner declined to send him back into the ring for the fourth round, handing Ennis his 13th victory, and his 11th by stoppage.

“I only got hit one time during the fight,” said Ennis. “I went in there, and had fun like I always do. He backed up the whole time. When I first came, I was touching him to the body a lot, and that slowed him down. He didn’t come out for the fourth round.”

Ennis returns to the ring in the co-main event 12 sierpnia at Nations Fight Night at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. Ennis will be the co-feature in what will be his first eight-round bout. “I’m thankful to have been so busy since my debut,” said Ennis. “It keeps me sharp, and I’m excited for my first eight rounder. I’m ready to show more of my talent, and the results of my hard work.”
