Baiz will face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 KOS) in a 4-round bout and vowed to fight at welterweight by the start of 2019. This fight will be at a catch weight of 150 lbs.

Johns (7-0) heads into this title fight looking to punctuate what has been a sterling career to this point. The Kansas native, who now calls Dallas home, will get the chance to win LFA gold and run his record to 8-0. That would position him as the undisputed top bantamweight prospect in the world. The powerhouse known as “Chapo” earned his fearsome nickname for his ruthless demeanor inside the Octagon. The 24-year-old Fortis MMA standout has won his last three fights for LFA and Legacy FC (Birlashishdan oldin), which includes a statement submission win over fellow top undefeated prospect Eric Ellington at LFA 40. Johns will now up the ante looking for a title winning performance in his first headlining bout for the promotion at LFA 55.

 

 

 

Yanez (7-2) is a Houstonian and fellow LFA standout that will be looking to play spoiler in a long sporting rivalry between Dallas and Houston, which is known as the I-45 Rivalry. Yanez, like Johns, gew up in the promotion. After enjoying a fantastic amateur career for Legacy FC (Birlashishdan oldin), Yanez continued his success as a pro. That includes winning his last two fights for LFA in emphatic fashion. They were the types of fights that coaches, ShK ventilyatorlari, and promoters recognize as special moments in a young fighter’s career. Alpar (7-4) has been a force in women’s MMA since making her professional debut seven and a half years ago. The Oklahoman known as “Too Sweet” has been anything but sweet to her opposition. The 27-year-old most recently earned a regional title by stopping top Paraguayan prospect Pamela Boveda Aguirre via first round TKO. The win gave Alpar two regional titles to go along with a marquee win over Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger earlier in her career. Jones-Lybarger went on to fight for the UFC after wining RFA gold. Alpar will now look to pave a similar path. That journey begins with a shot at the inaugural LFA women’s bantamweight title at LFA 55.

 

 

 

Edwards (8-1) is widely considered the top women’s bantamweight prospect in Latin America. “La Pantera” has been unbeatable over the last three years, which includes seven consecutive wins. The 23-year-old has seven stoppage victories in her eight career wins, which includes a 57-second TKO win over Bellator vet Jessica Middleton in May and a second round armbar win over RFA vet Brenda Gonzales last month. The two wins also earned her a pair of regional titles. Now that Edwards and Alpar are both champ-champs on the regional scene, they will look to go all-in with the inaugural LFA women’s title and #1 women’s bantamweight prospect status on the line.

Selina Barrios Retains NABF Lightweight Title with Dominating Unanimous Decision Over Patricia Juarez

Prezident tansoqchilari Christ, TX (Sentyabr 22, 2018) – Tonight at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, TX, San Antonio’s female boxing sensation, Selina “Aztek malikasi” Mahalla (5-0, 2 KOS), remained undefeated with a dominating 10-round unanimous decision victory over Patricia Juarez (4-1), sister of WBC Bantamweight champion, Mariana “Barbie” Juarez (50-9-4, 13 KOS). G'alaba bilan, Barrios retains her NABF Lightweight title.

 

 

 

Dastlabki turlarda, both fighters were very active, throwing a lot of punches, but Barrios was the one landing the cleaner shots. Although Juarez was doing her best to box from the outside using a one-two combo, her power wasn’t enough to keep Barrios off her as she kept coming forward, landing her signature overhand right. Barrios hurt Juarez in round five, knocking her mouthpiece out with right hook, forcing the referee to stop the action momentarily. Juarez recovered but never was able to stop Barrios from coming forward as she continued to land thumping power shots. A clash of head butts cut Barrios on the forehead during the middle rounds, but she was never bothered by them. Keyingi bosqichlarda, Barrios continued to apply pressure, forcing Juarez to fight on the inside. Juarez showed a lot of heart making it to the final bell but came up short as Barrios remains undefeated. Scorecards read 100-89 va 99-91 twice all in favor of Barrios.

 

 

 

“I felt I controlled the fight from the opening bell,” - dedi Selina Barros. “Juarez was a very tough opponent and I give her a lot of credit for going the distance. I hit her with a lot of power shots and she hung in there. I didn’t feel any power in her punches, so I kept coming forward. “The NABF lightweight title means the world to me at this point in my career, and defending it is very important. I live for people to call me ‘champ’ and to not have a belt, would mean I didn’t work hard enough to keep it. I can’t let that happen, so I am working tremendously hard to keep this belt, because not just do I want to defend it, but I also want to fight for a world title as well, which means I cannot lose the NABF strap.

“This is the best division in all of women’s boxing in my opinion. We have Mikaela Mayer and Katie Taylor, who I think are two very talented fighters. I also think Amanda Serrano should be considered in this division, even though she went up multiple weight classes and made history by becoming a six-division world champ. Quite simply said, I want to fight all of them and I want to prove I am the best fighter in this division. SALINAS, KABI (Avgust 30, 2018) – Shahzoda Ranch boks (Foh) is thrilled to announce the signing of undefeated power-punching middleweight prospect, Rudy Puga (9-0, 8 KOS), who will be making his return to the ring on September 8, 2018, San-Antonio, TX. PRB will manage Puga with the vision of building his record and getting him into a big fight.

 

 

 

Puga, who last fought in April of 2017, was recently released from Roc Nation Sports, after a short stint with Top Rank early in his career. The hard-hitting middleweight is looking to get back on the fast track to a world title with a spectacular performance on September 8th.

 

 

 

“I’m very happy to be part of the Prince Ranch Boxing family,” said Rudy Puga, who will most likely fight above the middleweight limit of 160 lbs. in his first fight back. “I’m very excited to be making my return to the ring in September. I’m sure there will be some ring rust that I’ll need to shed, but everyone knows I’m always looking for the knockout. If I get my opponent hurt, I’m certainly going to try to take him out.”

 

 

 

“Rudy Puga has a tremendous amount of power in both hands and we are very eager to get him back on a world title run,” said Greg Hannley, Shahzoda Ranch boks bosh direktori. “He’s a great kid with an excellent work ethic.
