SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dezembro 18, 2017) – The two most avoided female boxers’ in the country are about to face each other, in what looks to be an all-out war, when undefeated sensation, leve Selina “Aztec Rainha” Bairros, takes on the dangerous “Adorável” Lisa Porter.
On the line will be the NABF lightweight title, as both fighters were granted by the NABF committee to fight for this respected belt. The 10-round bout will take place at the Rapides Coliseum Parish em Dezembro 29, 2017, em Alexandria, LA. The only other female pro to fight for a major title this quickly is 2-time gold medalist Clarissa Shields.
When everyone in the lightweight division has refused to fight Barrios or Porter, the two agreed to fight each other. Barrios is a winner of four Ringside World Amateur Titles to go along with her many national championships. Porter was a decorated amateur herself, winning three National PAL championships, US Golden Gloves, and was a US National Silver medalist. Both fighters are coming in with undefeated records.
To put things in perspective, Bairros’ last opponent Jasmine Clarkson, was world champion Katie Taylor’s sixth opponent, before Taylor fought for the WBA world title. In Porter’s case, she fought to a draw with Katonya Fisher, who defeated Jessica McCaskill, who is just went the distance with Taylor for WBA world title.
“I’m very excited to be fighting for the NABF title,” said Selina Barrios. “All I want is an opportunity to win a world title, and winning the NABF belt will get me closer to my dream of becoming a world champion. I know I’m going to be facing a dangerous opponent in Lisa Porter, but nothing comes easy in boxing. Com isso dito, I’m willing to fight anyone they put in front of me. RAYNE, LA (Novembro 2, 2017) – Two days after Halloween, unbeaten female sensation, leve Selina “Aztec Rainha” Bairros (2-0, 1 KO), has spooked her opponent, Zarina Tsoloyeva (Pro Debut) from Zhaksy, Cazaquistão, as she backed out of their scheduled 4-round bout, set to take place today at The Rayne Civic Center in Louisiana. Tsoloyeva refused to step on the scale at yesterdays weigh-in.
Selina Barrios is one of the most avoided female fighters in the United States and now Kazakhstan. Ebony Jones from Alabama, Alpha Patricia Lopez from Mexico, e agora Zarina Tsoloyeva from Kazakhstan, all signed to fight Selina but backed out to fight her at the last minute. Jones and Lopez were no shows, while Tsoloyeva who is from the distant land of Kazakhstan, showed up to the weigh-in, but declined to step on the scale.
“I was willing to fight Zarina Tsoloyeva, the decorated amateur from Kazakhstan, but she pulled out at the last minute, like my last two opponents.” said Selina Barrios from San Antonio. “It’s been very difficult getting opponents to fight me. I’ve always said, I don’t care who they put in front of me, I’ll fight anyone. I have that much confidence in my skills. I have no choice but to move on, but I’m respectfully sending a message to everyone in the lightweight and super-lightweight divisions, Eu não estou indo a lugar nenhum, eventually you will all have to fight me.”
Nothing will derail Selina as she stays positive and continues to work hard, looking for that opportunity to challenge the best the lightweight and super-lightweight divisions has to offer. SAN ANTOINIO, TX (Setembro 11, 2017) – Esse passado Sábado at the San Antonio Event Center, Selina “Aztec Rainha” Bairros (2-0, 1 KO), remained undefeated with a dominating four-round unanimous decision victory against Jasmine Clarkson (4-10).
Desde o sino de abertura, Barrios applied a tremendous amount of pressure, never letting Clarkson breathe. Hard shots to the body and head forced Clarkson to fight going backwards the entire bout. The bout almost ended when Selina stormed landed a barrage of punches at the end of round three, but Clarkson was saved by the bell. Clarkson was able to survive and make it to the final bell. Score cards read 40-36 duas vezes, e 39-37.
“I felt really good going into this fight and it showed in my performance,” said Selina Barrios. “I was able to cut off the ring and put a lot of pressure on Jasmine. She was very tough and I give her a lot of credit for going the distance. I felt I won every round but one judge didn’t see it that way. My goal is to get back in the ring as soon as possible.”

The four-round bout, set at 140 libras, will be Barrios’ second fight of 2017. Selina Barrios Scores Spectacular Knockout in Pro Debut

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Janeiro 23, 2017) – Esse passado Sábado in her pro debut at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium, no “Famoso’s Night of Champions” card in San Antonio, TX, hometown native, Selina “Aztec Rainha” Bairros (1-0, 1 KO), scored a spectacular first round knockout against, Tammy Franks (2-27-1).
Barrios took charge from the opening bell as she went right at Franks, procurando o nocaute. When the two fighters met in the middle of the ring, punches were exchanged and Selina landed a left hook to the chin of Franks, sending her to the canvas. After the ref gave Franks an eight count, Barrios stormed on and ended the fight with a devastating left hook-straight right combination.
Franks, who went the distance with Mia St. Banheiro duas vezes, was knocked out for the first time in eight years

. Satisfied with her triumph, Barrios is ready to get back in the ring and keep the momentum going.

“I wanted to come out here tonight and give the fans a great show.” said Selina Barrios. “After I landed that left hook, I knew she was hurt. My only thought was to go for the kill and end the fight. This was my first fight as a professional and I’m happy with the result.”
