BROOKLYN, Nueva York (Abril 16, 2016) – FIB #15 super-featherweight ranked contender,Mario Barrios, remained undefeated with a dominating unanimous decision victory over Edgar Gabejan (26-33-6, 9 KOs) un veterano de más 500 ronds, mejorando su récord a (15-0, 8 KOs).
Barrios, quien es oriundo de San Antonio, TX, came out guns blazing, dropping Gabejan in round one. Towering over his opponent, Barrios, who stands over six feet tall, used his height and reach to perfection as he landed precise punches throughout the remainder of the fight. Barrios, junto con el esquinero Rick Nunez, entregó zapatos y juguetes a los niños, trayendo sonrisas a todos los involucrados.
“Fue genial ver las sonrisas de todos los niños cuando Rick y yo dejamos los regalos.,” said Mario Barrios. “Sé que hay muchos niños que no reciben muchos obsequios durante la Navidad, así que fue bueno darles algo extra a estos niños.. Fue divertido y todos estaban felices.”

Undefeated Super Bantamweight Adam Lopez Punctuates 2015 with 2nd round knockout over former world champion Erik Aiken

San Antonio, Texas (Diciembre 16, 2015) – Este pasado Sábado night in his hometown of San Antonio, undefeated Super Bantamweight contender Adán López(14-0, 7 Nocáuts) scored a 2nd round stoppage over former world champion Erik Aiken in a bout that took place at the AT & T Center.

 

Lopez is promoted by GH3 Promotions.

Lopez dominated the action as he took the fight to the former champion, finally stopping Aiken at 2:09 de la segunda ronda.
“I was very excited and we executed the game-plan,”dijo López, who celebrated his 25th birthday on fight night.
“I am happy to have that win in San Antonio. It’s my hometown and it’s a great place to be. I wish I was on later in the card, but I am happy to get the stoppage win.”
Aiken, who was a Featherweight world champ is the biggest name on the Lopez’ resume to date.
“He is a former world champion and even though he hasn’t fought at the world championship level in a while, a win is a win.”
Lopez will kick off what he believes will be a huge 2016 with a nationally televised bout in February.
“I am headlining ShoBox on February 12th. It will be my first headliner. Después de esto, I hope that I could be in a line for a world title opportunity. I am ranked number-seven by the WBA but if that isn’t next after the ShoBox fight, we will wait for our opportunity.”
When asked if he indulged in any birthday / knockout win celebrations, Lopez was busy with his family and fans.
“I really didn’t even eat. let alone eat any cake. I was busy thanking my family and fans. I got the best present anyway and that is to be able to do what I love to do on my birthday and that is fight and win!”

San Antonio, Texas (Diciembre 2, 2015) – El invicto supergallo Adán López (13-0, 6 Nocáuts) regresa al ring el SSÁBADO, 12 de diciembre al AT&T Center en su natal San Antonio cuando se enfrente al ex campeón del mundo Erik Aiken en una pelea programada para 6 rondas.
López, que ocupa el puesto número ocho de la AMB en la fuerza de sus victorias sobre peleadores invictos Pablo Cruz y Eliécer Aquino en ShoBox: La Nueva Generación.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Septiembre 23, 2015) – Súper pluma invicto fenómeno, Mario Barrios (11-0, 6 KOs), tiene un rival para su próxima pelea que tiene lugar este sábado en el Legacy Arena en Birmingham, Alabama. Barrios se enfrentará a México de Eduardo Rivera (9-2-2, 3 KOs) en una pelea de 8-roiund.
“Estoy feliz de que encontraron a un oponente para mí,” dijo San Antonio de Texas natal Mario Barrios. “Esta será la primera vez que los combates en Alabama, así que estoy emocionado de poner en un gran rendimiento para los fans de la estarán presentes. Supergallo Adán López sigue invicto y se ve a la siguiente gran pelea

San Antonio, TX (Junio 4, 2015)–El pasado mayo 22, Supergallo Adán López ganó una decisión unánime 6 asaltos sobre Miguel Tamayo para elevar su récord a 12-0.
El nativo de San Antonio lanzó una blanqueada en las tres tarjetas de puntuación por jueces 60-54 recuentos.
López estaba especialmente entusiasmado con la victoria, ya que tuvo lugar no lejos de donde él creció en el sur de California.
“Soy originario de California y tuve un montón de familiares y amigos en la lucha. Fue una dura lucha con un veterano de 30 peleas. Yo en caja y tomé mi tiempo para ganar cada ronda,”dijo López.
La victoria no viene sin un costo que López se lesionó la mano, pero se las arregló para llegar a través de la victoria.
“Me lastimé la mano e hice mi mejor esfuerzo con un oponente con experiencia. Mi mano está en un molde y me estoy tomando un par de semanas fuera. Se supone que debo estar de vuelta en Julio 17 por ShoBox. Estoy viendo lo que mi equipo ha planeado para mí. Estoy feliz de que mi promotor Vito Mielnicki de Promociones GH3 me tiene en otra tarjeta ShoBox.”
