Ennis, who was last seen dropping a 10-round unanimous decision to new WBC Super Middleweight champion Badou Jack, is looking to get back into contention with a big outing over the veteran from Ghana.

After what Ennis admitted was a lackluster performance against Jack, he needed some time away from the sport in order to get himself back on track.

Ennis also took the time off to get into some training camps and improve on his own game.

“I was in camp with David Lemieux for when he fought Gabriel Rosado. It was during that time I got my head back and now is where I need to be. I need to go out and listen to my dad (Trainer Bozy Ennis). I am in 32 years old now. Ini adalah ia. It is either all or nothing.”

De Alba Reading, PA has been one of the hottest fighters on the East Coast as he has won 13 straight bouts and is unbeaten since dropping his professional debut in 2011.

Yang 27 year-old is coming into his own and has been training hard in preparation for this bout against Uribe.

Like two of his last three opponents, Jose Bustos and Pablo Batres, Uribe is a tough yet unknown fighter from Mexico who sports a solid record.

In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 Ini KO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 Ini KO) dalam Jr. Welterweight pertarungan.

Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Fast” Eddie Chambers, fought 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 tahun.

“I have been training hard and working on opening my new gym with (pencabar ringan) Rod Salka,” said Upsher.

“I am on weight already and I feel good. We will be fighting at 142 pound.”

Upsher is ready to show the fans how far his abilities have grown since he turned pro in Philadelphia in 2003 apabila dia hanya 18 lama tahun.

“I am happy to be coming back to Philadelphia. I want to show people how far I have come and see the improvement that I have made as a fighter.”

Despite losing his three bouts to the likes of former world champions Luis Collazo and Andre Berto as well as then-undefeated prospect Eddie Gomez, Upsher was competitive in all those bouts and grew tremendously from those experiences.

On the veteran opponent, Rodriguez, Upsher said, “I know he is tough and from Mexico. I will look at a little film before the fight and go from there. I really don’t worry about what he will do. He should worry about me. This fight is redemption for me. It’s a start and then I would like to right all of the losses.
