Morrison (15-7-0, M​-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M​-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M​-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 ກິ​ໂລກ​ຣາມ) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M​-1 ທ້າ​ຫມູ່​ຫຼິ້ນ 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M​-1 ທ້າ​ຫມູ່​ຫຼິ້ນ 66 (pictured below).

Puetz (14-2-0, M​-1: 5-1-0) captured the covered M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title in 2014, when he defeated defending champion Nemkov by way of a five-round split decision.
