Final Fight Championship Makes History, With Multi-Year Combat Sports Agreement Involving, Rio Las Vegas and CBS Sports Network

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Sete. 14, 2018) – One of the fastest growing combat sports promotion companies in the world, Final Fight Championship (FFC), and Caesars Entertainment’s Rio Las Vegas, will deliver a weekly combat sports series called, “Fight Dome”, which debuts on Friday, Sete. 28, and will air live on CBSSN (CBS Sports Network).

The groundbreaking announcement marks the first time in the history of Las Vegas that a combat sports promotion company has established residency inside of a resort casino to deliver a weekly show involving multi-disciplines including, Boxe, Kickboxing and MMA.

“History will be made on Friday, Sete. 28,” said Orsat Zovko, President and Founder of Final Fight Championship. “We (FFC) are thrilled to be a part of this landmark agreement with Rio Las Vegas and CBS Sports Network.”

Fight Dome events will broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, Friday at 7 p.m. (PST) e 10 p.m. (HUSA) with the first official event, “Night of Champions”, debuting on Friday, Sete. 28. “Night of Champions”, will feature all three disciplines (Boxe, Kickboxing and MMA) and every fight will be for the FFC World Championship Belt!

All of the heart-pounding FFC action will take place inside of the all-new, Fight Dome Las Vegas, which is an intimate venue located inside of Rio Las Vegas that delivers combat sports fans, the experience of a lifetime.

ARTUR BETERBIEV WON’T FIGHT IN RIO OLYMPICS

MONTREAL, Canadá (Junho 15, 2016) – After careful consideration, rising Groupe Yvon Michel (GINÁSIO) star and double Russian Olympian, Artur Beterbiev, will not take part in the qualifying process to earn a spot to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

An Olympic qualifying tournament for professional boxers will be held Julho 3-8 in Vargas, Venezuela, following the decision of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) to include professionals in the Olympic tournament.

Contudo, Beterbiev (10-0, 10 KOs), who made a triumphant return to the ring after a one-year absence on June 4 at the Bell Centre in Montreal against Argentinian Ezequiel Maderna (23-3, 15 KOs), will not be there.

“After analyzing all situations, we came to the conclusion that the current situation was not favorable,” Presidente GYM Yvon Michel explained. “The short-term goal for Artur Beterbiev is to become world champion in the pro ranks. He will be back in the ring in September.”
Currently world ranked in the top 10 of the light heavyweight division — IBF # 2, WBC and WBA #4, WBO #7 e The Ringmagazine #9 — Beterbiev has already participated in the Olympics twice: 2008 em Pequim (178 lb.) e 2012 em Londres (201 lb.).

“Regardless of my boxer’s objectives, ” Beterbiev’s head trainerMarc Ramsey dito, “I’m behind him 100-percent. Contudo, the main goal remains the conquest of a World title.”

Ronda Rousey (11-0) e Bethe Correia (9-0) será a atração principal do UFC 190 no título de boxe de mulheres luta que é garantida para entregar fogos de artifício. Estes dois rivais lutarão no país de origem do challenger, mas Rousey é uma estrela mundial que está em um rolo épica até agora em sua carreira no MMA. Correia é um azarão no seu próprio país, mas ela também é um atacante invicto que poderia dar Rousey problemas se o armlock não entram em jogo.

Previsão: Procure Rousey para voltar em sua promessa e terminar essa luta mais cedo, como suas emoções irá assumir e impedi-la de pensar muito sobre desenho um presente para fora. Ela só vai entrar na água, jogar para baixo e sair do primeiro turno com outro TKO para adicionar a todas as suas vitórias por finalização. Ela irá esmagar nariz grande de Correia abertos e judô atirar o adversário ao tapete onde ela vai fechar o show com o solo eficaz e libra.

 

O evento co-principal apresenta Mauricio Rua (22-10) versus Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (21-6) em uma revanche de uma luta que aconteceu sob a bandeira PRIDE em janeiro de 2005. Rua venceu a primeira luta por decisão unânime. Desta vez, Ambos os lutadores são longos passado sua principal, e Rua entra na gaiola com apenas uma vitória em suas últimas quatro lutas. Ele está em cima de sua cabeça nesta luta, e “Minotouro” vai mandá-lo para a reforma.

 

Antonio Rodrgio Nogueira (34-9-1) também luta na eliminatória contra “O Arranha-céu” Stefan Struve (25-7). Esta deve ser uma luta emocionante, e Mark Hunt Struve mostrou que é suscetível a haymakers. Nogueira pode explorar essa fraqueza, ou vai Struve mostrar que ele é um assassino lenda desta vez para fora?

 

Previsão: Nogueira está vindo com toda a experiência nesta luta enquanto Struve tem a fisicalidade. Diz-se que quanto maior eles são, mais duramente caem, mas Struve é uma exceção.
