KEJOHANAN BERMULA DENGAN ‘RAMPAGE’ JACKSON VS. CHAEL SONNEN ATBELLATOR 192 DI LA ON JAN. 20

LOS ANGELES –Kurungan untuk Grand Prix Dunia Bellator MMA 2018 Kejohanan Heavyweight telah ditetapkan.

 

Pada Bellator 192: Lima vs. MacDonald pada Januari 20, 2018 di The Forum di Los Angeles, kejohanan akan dimulakan dengan bekas juara Quinton "mengamuk" Jackson (37-12) menghadapi penceramah sampah yang terkenal Chael Sonnen (30-15-1) dalam perlawanan pusingan pertama yang menarik. LOS ANGELES – Bellator has announced plans to host a year-long grand prix heavyweight tournament in 2018 featuring eight of the roster’s biggest stars with the winner becoming the new Bellator world heavyweight champion. The Bellator MMA World Grand Prix 2018 Heavyweight Tournament will air on the soon-to-launch Paramount Network.

 

The star-studded list of participants includes newly signed Quinton "mengamuk" Jackson (37-12), Roy Nelson (23-14), Chael Sonnen (30-15-1),Frank Mir (18-11), “King Mo” (21-6, 1 NC), Fedor Emelianenko (36-5, 1 NC), Matt Mitrione (12-5) dan juara kelas berat ringan Bellator Ryan Bader (24-5).

Fighting out of Tempe, Ariz., Bader began his professional career on an impressive run, steamrolling the competition en route to a 12-fight winning streak and winning one of the most competitive seasons of Pejuang Ultimate in franchise history on Spike in 2008. “Darth” continued his path of dominance by collecting 15 over some of the 105-pound division’s top talent, including victories over former world champions Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Rashad Evans, as well as two wins over Phil Davis. QUINTON ‘RAMPAGE’ JACKSON SIGNS EXCLUSIVE MULTI-FIGHT DEAL WITH BELLATOR MMA

LOS ANGELES – Bellator is pleased to announce that it has reached a multi-fight deal with Quinton "mengamuk" Jackson (37-12), exclusively securing the talents of one of the most well-known and fan-favorite competitors in MMA history. This multi-fight deal was the result of a lengthy negotiation with Jackson’s manager Tiki Ghosn from Arsenal Sports Agency, and it promises to deliver to the Bellator fans more of the signature MMA action “Rampage” is known for.

 

“Rampage” is expected to return to the Bellator cage in early 2018.

 

Fighting out of Irvine, Calif., “Rampage” has made five appearances with Bellator, accruing an impressive mark of 4-1. His legendary career has seen him compete against some of the top names in the sport, generating a loyal army of fans along the way due to his exciting fighting style and unique personality. The former PRIDE star and UFC champion is the proud owner of epic highlight-reel slams and knockouts earned throughout his epic battles with the likes of Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, "Raja Mo,” Kevin Randleman dan, mungkin yang paling ketara, triloginya dengan rakan atlet Bellator Wanderlei Silva.

DUBLIN, IRELAND. (Disember. 16, 2016) – In the evening’s main event, it was wrestler versus judo practitioner as Muhammed "Raja Mo" Lawal (20-5, 1 NC) returned to moneyweight to face Olympic Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii (14-7-1). King Mo avoided Ishii’s crafty throws as he scored a couple takedowns of his own throughout the fight. The contest finished with a shutout unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) untuk “King Mo.”

Sekarang, after yet another impressive performance during the main event of “Bellator 169,” Lawal looks to end 2016 in style by repeating his domination over Rizin Fighting Federation opponents, when the 2015 eight-man Rizin heavyweight tournament winner returns to grand prix action during the Japanese-based promotion’s New Year’s Eve weekend of events.

The 35-year-old former Strikeforce Champion defeated Brett McDermott, Teodoras Aukstuolis and Jiri Prochazka en route to winning the heavyweight tournament last year, now the “King” looks to retain his crown against the likes of: Shane Carwin, Amir Aliakbari, Mirko Filipovic, Kaido Hoovelson, Tsuyoshi Kosaka, Valentin Moldavsky, and Szymon Bajor.

DUBLIN, IRELAND. (Disember. 15, 2016) – The official weigh-ins for both "Bellator 169: King Mo vs. Ishii” dan “BAMMA 27” took place this afternoon at the 1878 club inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The competitors are now ready for action esok at 3Arena, with the event airing on SPIKE at 9 petang. DAN/8 petang. CT.

 

The Spike-televised main card will be highlighted by a heavyweight main event pitting “King Mo” (19-5, 1 NC) against Olympic Judo Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii (14-6-1). Di samping itu, Anthony Taylor (1-1) will look to quite the crowd as he enters enemy territory to challenge Northern Ireland’s own James Gallagher (4-0) in a featherweight co-main clash.
