Here are what the fighters had to say at Madi a antrennman:

DANNY GARCIA

I just want to give the fans a great fight. I want them to see the best Danny Garcia. Nan fen jounen an, this is the fight the fans want to see. My main focus is putting on a great show for the fans.

I’ve faced a lot of skillful boxers in my career and I’m still undefeated. That should tell the fans around the world who has more skill. Tankou Avril 11 when he’s feeling these two bombs on his face he’s going to forget about his skill.

I just want to give fans a great fight. I’m not too worried about the ‘0’ on my record. I fight hard to protect it but my main focus is to go in there and get the job done one fight at a time.

Everything I’ve done in my career is for a reason. Now I’m here on NBC fighting on this big playing field. This is great for boxing and a breath of fresh air for the sport.

I just want to be confident and humble at the same time. I want the fans to love me because I’m being myself. It’s very important for a young champion.

I’m going to try to dictate the pace, be smart, move my head, use my feet and land good punches. I can’t try to chase him down.

I used to love other great Puerto Rican boxers like Felix Trinidad, Miguel Cotto and Hector Camacho. I feel like I’m definitely working my way up into the ranks with them and following their footsteps.

I have to be smart in the ring. I have to go in there and be Danny Garcia. I’m here because I’m a smart fighter. Everyone knows that. Mwen gen pouvwa. I’m going to find my opening and capitalize on his mistakes.

LAMONT PETERSON

This is just another fight for me. I’m not worried about being the main event. Mwen jis renmen al goumen. As long as I’m fighting I’m happy.

A lot of people see us fight and see us take punches, but that’s just the easy part. The sacrifice in the gym and putting my body through punishment is the rough part.

I’m not trying to prove anyone wrong, but this fight is important to me and I want to win it. I want to be the top guy and that means beating the top guy.

People talk about him beating Matthysse and Matthysse beating me, but anyone who knows about boxing knows that doesn’t mean anything. Tankou Samdi night I will prove to everyone that I’m a better fighter than Danny Garcia.

Angel Garcia has his opinion on this fight, and I respect it. He can go on record and say anything he wants, but if he says Danny Garcia is stronger than me, I’ll tell you that’s a lie.

We’re not worried about Danny’s power. A lot of people have asked me about that but I’m not worried. Danny Garcia had a split decision with Kendall Holt, who I knocked out. No one seems to mention that.

I’m comfortable with whatever way this fight goes. I’m almost guaranteeing the win.

I don’t think they’re taking me lightly. Nan fen jounen an, Garcia knows this is a fight and he knows he hasn’t fought anyone like me. I’m expecting a big victory Samdi lannwit.

You never know what you’re going to see with me. Whatever I feel like I need to do to win, that’s what I’ll do. Mwen se prepare 100 pousan. I’m in shape for 30 rounds and I’ll be ready for anything. ”

ANDY LEE

We’ve made unbelievable progress in the last year on my skills and everything has really just clicked for me and my team and now we’re seeing the results in the ring.

I’m very proud to be an Irishman from Limerick defending his world championship in New York, it doesn’t get much better than that.

There’s been a huge weight lifted off my shoulders since winning the world-title. It’s what I always wanted to do and I’ve been touted as a champion for years and if I never got it I would have been disappointed. Now the monkey is off my back and I can just box and show people who I am.

We’ve made physical and tactical improvements in the gym since the last fight and hopefully they’ll show up in the ring nan Samdi.

I think this could be a technical fight or it could be a bit of a fire fight. It’s going to be a little of both at times. There will be moments where we’re looking at each other, figuring each other out, but once we exchange it could be explosive.

Quillin is sure of himself, but he has to be, I have the same mentality. You have to be to compete in this sport.

Fighting at home like Quillin is nan Samdi, brings a different kind of pressure to the table, it’s the pressure of expectations and people you know coming to the fights. That’s also pressure and I know all about that.

I haven’t needed to build up my confidence for this fight. It’s not time to think. It’s time to do what I’ve been doing every day in the gym.

PETER QUILLIN

I never trailed in a fight and came back and won like Lee. I’ve just won all the time right out of the gate. Those other guys aren’t ‘Kid Chocolateso I think that’s why this fight was made.

It’s a big fight for him and a big fight for me. He’s a smart fighter when he’s in trouble so I have to watch out for that. Most importantly I just need to be true to myself.

A lot of people had Lee as the underdog in his last fight but he came out and did great. That’s the thing about boxing; one punch can change the fight.

I’m getting paid for 12 rounds so I’m preparing for 12 rounds but if I can get him out of there early I will.

My whole life has been struggles and I’ve had to overcome every single one of those struggles. This is going to be no different from that.

Being a father of course made me more inspired and watching my uncle pass has made me more motivated than ever to accomplish everything I want.

When I gave up the belt I learned that I can be a bigger man and make tough decisions like that all of the time. People think losing is easy, but winning all the time is a different kind of pressure.

ERROL SPENCE JR.

I am the best young prospect in the game. I’m on the borderline of contender status and I believe I’m one fight away from being a contender.

I’m a little bit of a mix style-wise. Mwen se yon boxer, I can punch and I can fight if I have to.

The fight I learned the most from was with Emanuel Lartey, he was undefeated along with me and it was my first real fight and first time going the distance.

I see myself fighting all the top guys in the welterweight division. I see myself with Keith Thurman, Amir Khan and any top welterweight.

I’m going to look good as always nan Samdi lannwit, It’s going to be fantastic and I’m going to come out with the victory.

MARCUS BROWNE

I’m just blessed to have this opportunity to fight at Barclays Center for the eighth time in front of my hometown fans.

I love performing in in Brooklyn. The fans here are fantastic and they know when I get in the ring they’re going to see something special.

I have a tough opponent in front of me. Li te gen eksperyans, very lanky fighter but we’ve trained very hard and I’m ready for anything he’s got.

Samdi is going to be a great night for Team Browne, Staten Island and all of my fans. Don’t blink cause you might miss it!”

Luis Collazo

I’ve spent some time with the family, regrouping and making sure I still have the same passion for this sport. I’m excited to be back and I jumped at the opportunity to be on this card.

This is what I live for. Bòks se lavi m '.

After the Khan fight I took about a month off and then I went straight to the gym. I couldn’t go out like I did against Khan. Pa gen eskiz, but it was time to go back to the drawing board and stay motivated throughout the whole year.

The fans can expect the same excitement I always bring. I’m more motivated now and hopefully after this fight I can get a big fight and give the fans what they want.

HEATHER HARDY

I have the same mindset going into every fight. I train to fight my fight and make adjustments when get in there.

I feel strong and I feel capable of whatever needs to be done.

I’ve only been boxing for four years so I’m still learning a lot of boxing technique in camp plus working three or four days a week with my strength and conditioning coach.

Fans can expect a good show and a big win out me nan Samdi.”

Difuze nan tou chin an tap En soti nan Julian “J Rock” Williams (19-0-1, 11 Ko) genyen plis pase Joey “Dwèt Twinkle” Hernandez (24-3-1, 14 Ko).

Anba a gen kèk kòmantè remakab soti nan konbatan yo ki televize konsènan pèfòmans yoaswè a:

Adonis Stevenson

“Mwen te travay di pou kapab ale pou 12 jij. Mwen tonbe l 'de fwa. Li te janm te frape soti ak mwen te konnen li ta vini prepare al goumen.

“M 'te di mwen ta dwe kontan ak yon pentch oswa ale distans la yo ka resevwa genyen an.

Saki BULL

“Adonis merite pou pou genyen sa a batay. Mwen pa ka pran anyen lwen l '. Li fè lagè trè byen.

“Mwen te resevwa kenbe ak yon dwa ak glise premye fwa mwen te ale desann. Lè l 'kenbe m' ak bò gòch la ak Mwen te ale desann pita sou li pa t 'reyèlman afekte m' ke anpil aktyèlman. Li nan Champ a menm si li t'ap goumen ak yon gwo batay jodi a.

“Batay sou CBS te gen yon rekò etonan pou karyè mwen. Mwen pa t 'jwenn genyen an, men mwen mete yo sou yon gwo batay pou piblik la wè.

“Pou kounye a, Mwen pral tèt tounen lakay yo epi jwi fanmi mwen. Apre sa, mwen pral wè sou yon lòt batay.”

Artur BETERBIEV

“Nan sa a batay mwen te kapab vrèman montre ki sa mwen kapab nan ak eksperyans mwen peye koupe.

“Lè m 'ap gade pye nan Campillo mwen remake ke li te fè yon anpil nan kouri. Mwen pa te ap eseye gen agresè a. Mwen jis kole nan plan jwèt mwen.

“Mwen trè kontan yo dwe sou sèn nan gwo sou CBS nan tankou yon pwen byen bonè nan karyè pwofesyonèl mwen. Sa a tout te vin ansanm trè byen vit e mwen espere ke yo dwe tounen byento.

“Nou ap planifye al goumen ankò nan mwa me ak mwen pral kite moun ki va advèsè mwen yo ki pral nan men Bondye a.”

Gabriel Campillo

Lè sa a, nou pral revize sitiyasyon an ak wè sou kouman pou konbat ankò.”

JULIAN WILLIAMS

“Pa te gen okenn underestimating Hernandez pou sa a batay. Nou etidye yon anpil nan fim sou li, li te gen yon trè bon lide de sa li ta pote nan bag la jodi a.

“Mwen te panse ke m 'koutpwen ak mouvman mwen te de pi gwo fòs mwen nan sa a batay. Koupe bag la te kle.

“Sa a seri PBC epi ki gen batay yo sou yon gwo rezo tankou CBS se gwo pou espò a nan boksè. Li nan gwo yo jwenn nan anpil plis kay, e mwen espere ke li te ede fè espò a pi popilè. Èspere ke sa a rive nan timoun sa yo ki pa kapab peye prim kab yo epi li ede ankouraje plis timoun jenn jwenn nan espò a.

“Mwen pa si sa ki nan pwochen. Mwen pral rete tann pou Al (Haymon) kite m 'konnen, men mwen reyèlman tann pou yon bal nan yon tèt 10 avyon de gè sou ane anvan an.”

JOEY HERNANDEZ

Mwen konnen mwen ap tounen nan bag la. Mwen fè sa paske mwen vle e mwen renmen li, se pa paske mwen bezwen.”

Nan jimnastik la, sepandan, Mwen te dekouvri ki, pa sèlman te zanmi yo nan chak lòt la, men Vislan te yon boxer wo nivo.”

PHILADELPHIA (Avril 1, 2015) – As fight week nears for the second installment of Premier boksè chanpyon sou NBC (8:30 pm ET/5:30 p.m. PT), undefeated sipèsta Danny “Swift” Garcia held a media workout in his hometown of Philadelphia in preparation for his showdown with fellow world champion Lamont Peterson sou Samdi, Avril 11 nan Barkley Sant nan Brooklyn.

Fè w peye pa telefòn, rele Ticketmaster nan (800) 745-3000. Pou tikè gwoup, tanpri rele 800-Group-BK.

Check out what Garcia and his father and trainer Angel had to say nan Mèkredi.

DANNY GARCIA

“Fòmasyon ki pral byen, I’ve done everything I have to do and I’m still focused. It’s a week and a half until the fight and I’m ready to go. If the fight were demen I’d be ready.

It’s a big fight and it’s the fight that the fans wanted. We’re going to give the fans a great night of boxing on NBC and it’s time the show the world that Danny Garcia is the star of NBC.

We have common opponents like Khan and Matthysse and we’ve had different results. They say styles make fights so those results don’t matter. Oke, my style is to kick his butt.

I know that this second PBC on NBC show is going to be even bigger and I just feel blessed to be a part of it and I can’t wait to go out there and showcase my skills.

I’m ready for whatever Peterson brings. If he tries to box then I’m going to go with that and if he wants to fight, I’ll be ready. I’m not going to go in and just try to knock his head off, I’m going to be Danny Garcia.

I’d love to be fighting on the biggest stage in boxing against the Mayweather and Pacquiaos, but for now it’s just about taking it one fight at a time, this is history in the making.

A lot of things have changed for me in the last few years, everybody knows me now. A lot of people look at you different now but it doesn’t make my head bigger, it just motivates me to work hard.

I love Brooklyn, it’s my fourth fight at Barclays Center and I’m looking to make it 4-0 sou Avril 11.

This is a blessing for the sport of boxing. Millions of fans haven’t had the opportunity to watch boxing on primetime in years and this is great for the sport.

ANGEL GARCIA

I’ll give Peterson credit for putting the gloves on. He thinks it’s going to be an easy night for him. He sees himself already on top of the mountain. It’s not going to happen like that, we’re going to ruin his party.

I want Peterson to act confident and come forward. They’re talking like Danny isn’t special but he lost to the guys we beat.

It doesn’t matter what anyone says as long as Danny is in here putting in 100 percent every day. It’s all about Avril 11.

We’re not going to train for eight weeks to go in there and worry about what Peterson is going to do, we’re going to do what we have to do. We train to go in there and win on Avril 11.”

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC (Avril 1, 2015) – During Mèkredi a final press conference at Le Bonne Entente in Quebec City, both Adonis “Devni selèb” Stevenson ak Sakio “Eskòpyon la” Taurus promised a knockout when they meet in the main event of the debut presentation of Premier boksè chanpyon (PBC) sou CBSTelevision Network this Saturday, Avril 4, nan 3 p.m. AK/Midi PT.

The hard-hitting Stevenson (25-1, 21 Ko) will defend his light heavyweight world championship against former super middleweight world champion Bika (32-6-3, 21 Ko) in the main event from the Pèpsi Coliseum nan Quebec City.

The case was the same with the co-main event fighters as both undefeated light heavyweight and two-time Russian Olympian Artur Beterbiev (7-0, 7 Ko) and former light heavyweight world champion Gabriel Campillo (25-6-1, 12 Ko) expected to win via KO sa a Samdi apremidi. Campillo, sporting a Tom Brady jersey, even promised he would win in dramatic fashion like this year’s Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.

Below are quotes from the fighters and trainers from Mèkredi a konferans pou laprès:

Adonis Stevenson:

I know Sakio is going to try to take my title, but I’m prepared for that.

I know he was a champion. I made the move from 168 to 175 pounds and it worked well for me. I expect him to bring his best at 175 liv. He’s a former champ so I’m preparing to face a champion.

I’m looking for the KO because I’m from the Kronk Gym. Knockouts sell. But I can go 12 jij, that’s not a problem. I train for 12 jij.

My trainer has given me a great plan. He knows Sakio Bika very well and we’ll see what happens in the ring.

Bika is still going to have the same power moving up in weight. He should actually be stronger.

I’m very focused because I know Bika is very dangerous. I know he’s going to come into the ring and try to give me trouble.

I’m a knockout artist. I can do a lot in the ring, but first and foremost I’m a knockout artist.

I’d love to unify the belts eventually, but I’ll let my manager Al Haymon take care of that.

My mentor Emanuel Steward always told me that as soon as I enter the ring the knockout is what sells. I’ll definitely be going for the knockout sa a Samdi on CBS.

I’m ready to go toe-to-toe. Adonis Stevenson vs. Sakio Bika on CBS, baby.

Saki BULL:

To beat a great fighter you have to be your best. I’m looking to take the WBC title back home.

I’ve fought everyoneI’ve never ducked an opponentand I don’t know if he can handle the pressure.

I feel more comfortable at 175 liv. I want to test the big boy [Stevenson] and I feel like I can do that. Nan samdi we’ll see.

He’s knocked people out, men mwen te janm te frape soti. Nan samdi I’ll be the one to knock him out.

I’m very hungry to get a world title back. I trained very hard at light heavyweight to get a title back.

I didn’t come here to Canada just to walk and look around. I came here to take this belt back home and I’m very confident I’m going to do that.

Training camp went very well, we put in good work and now we’re here in Canada ready to shock the world.

JAVANSUGARHILL:

Training camp was very good as always. Nothing different, just hard work perfecting his boxing and the basic fundamentals. We’re looking for him to make a mistake and catch him.

The way you prepare for an unorthodox fighter like Bika is to make sure your basics are sound. You have to have a good jab, you have to have good movement and you have to have ‘super powerAnd I have “Devni selèb.

Emanuel also told me the knockout sells. It’s something that we both know and it’s something that is imbedded in us. We’re looking for the knockout on Avril 4. Sometimes I see things that Adonis is looking to do before he does it. So I’ll just be sitting there waiting for Adonis to catch Sakio Bika making a mistake and getting a knockout.

I’m super proud to represent Kronk Gym. That’s why I wear my hat here. Kronk to me is like my family name and that’s what I live by. I was born into Kronk when I was a little kid going to a tournament with my uncle Emanuel and all I remember is the Kronk fighters winning. And that’s what I do now: genyen.

Adonis is an artist, he’s a KO artist. Prediksyon mwen an pou Samdi is a knockout on CBS.

There’s been a lot of talk and now it’s time for action. Toe-to-toe on Avril 4. Pa manke li.”

KEVIN CUNNINGHAM:

“Nou te gen yon kan fòmasyon gwo. Everyone was relaxed. We had great sparring.

He was making 168 pretty easy, but stepping up he’s able to eat whatever he wants. The weight is good. We think he’s going to be good and strong at 175. It’s a good move for him.

He’s never had any problems with power, so I think the extra weight and energy should be good for him at light heavyweight.

All this talk about Stevenson fighting (Sergey) Kovalev has motivated him pretty good. I think it gave him a pretty good picture of how the business of boxing works. He realizes that when the bell rings he needs to do something about it and he’s motivated by that.

I can’t say if Stevenson is overlooking him because I’m not around him enough. But I know the fans and media want to make the Kovalev fight. It was good for Bika to hear that because it motivated him. He knows he has an opportunity to do something about it. Nan samdi afternoon he can change all that.

If Stevenson does what he says he’s going to domeet him in the center of the ring and go toe-to-toethis is going to be a tremendous fight.

If he comes to the center of the ring and fights and goes toe-to-toe then this fight won’t go the distance. If Stevenson comes to trade I think he gets knocked out. If he runs around the ring and boxes then it could be a different outcome.

Artur BETERBIEV:

I don’t think this is a big challenge for me. I’m ready to face the world champions and raise the bar higher. This is just another opponent for me.

This is another step that will move me closer to facing the champions at 175 liv. I want to put on a solid fight and show that I’m one of the best fighters in this division.

A knockout is never a goal for me. I’m trying to show my work and my dedication in the ring, but usually that’s what happens. Usually I finish with a knockout but that is not my main goal. My main goal is to box and show my skills.

My motivation is to face the champions. That’s why I work so hard every day in the gym. I will get there soon.

Why not face Kovalev? Mwen pare. When I turned professional my goal was to meet the champions. He’s a champion now and I’d like to face the champions.

Gabriel Campillo:

We started training Jan. 1 and camp has been very good. We’ve been working very hard and I think I’m in great condition for this fight.

Beterbiev may not have a lot of professional experience, but he’s had a very long amateur career. So we know that he’s ready and is a good opponent for us. We’ll see how he handles things once we get past the 5th, 6th ak 7th jij.

To get ready for a hard-hitter like Beterbiev required lots of conditioning training. We worked the neck and the chin a lot. We think we’ve got a great chance in the second half of this fight though considering Beterbiev hasn’t really been tested like that.

As for a prediction, I’m going to knock Beterbiev out in the seventh round.

“Mwen pa ka tann pou sa a batay. Ever since it was confirmed I’ve been absolutely buzzing in the gym,” said Burns. “I’ve had some great nights in Scotland winning and defending my world titles at two different weights but I have always wanted to box in America. Our styles gel perfectly for one hell of a fight, neither of us take a step backbring on Me 9!”

This will be a home game for Figueroa, who will be making his initial start at 140 pounds after a hard-fought ninth-round knockout over Daniel Estrada in a slugfest last August. The 25-year-old Figueroa vacated his 135-pound belt after that defense. He became a champion in 2013 when he earned a unanimous 12-round decision over Nihito Arakawa in a brutal Fight of the Year battle. Figueroa, despite fighting with a cut on his nose from an accidental head-butt, registered two knockdowns in the memorable slugfest. Since then Figueroa defended his title twice, first with a split-decision victory over Jerry Belmontes and later with a ninth-round knockout against Daniel Estrada. Now the Weslaco, Texas native will move up in weight when he battles Burns on Me 9.

An experienced fighter and former two-division world champion out of Scotland, Burns looks to add a huge victory to his resume when he takes on Figueroa. A champion in the junior lightweight and lightweight divisions, the 31-year-old owns victories over a host of accomplished fighters including Roman Martinez, Michael Katsidis and Kevin Mitchell. After suffering consecutive losses to Terrence Crawford and Dejan Zlaticanin, Burns bounced back to defeat Alexandre Lepelley in October 2014 and he will look to keep that momentum going on Me 9.

An undefeated world champion out of Tokyo, Kameda announced his arrival stateside with a vicious knockout over Pungluang Sor Singyu in July 2014 nan Las Vegas. The 23-year-old followed up his U.S. premye lè li te bat Alejandro Hernandez nan Chicago atravè desizyon fann. His next challenge comes when he faces fellow bantamweight world champion McDonnell.

The United Kingdom’s McDonnell has been on a tear since 2008 ak 17 ranport youn apre lòt. Pi resamman, he became a bantamweight world champion with a victory over Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat and later successfully defended against Javier Nicolas Chacon.

PBC sou CBS, headlined by Figueroa vs. Burns, is promoted by Warriors Boxing and Panterita Promotions in association with Matchroom Sport. The event takes place at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas with the CBS telecast beginning at 4 p.m. AK/1 p.m. PT.

We’re very excited to bring this exciting fight to the great fight city of Hidalgo,” di Leon Margules, Prezidan an gèrye boksè. “I have no doubt that these two fighters are going to put on an incredible show for the fans at State Farm Arena.
