Inn Philadelphiassa, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO: n) ja Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO: n).
In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 KO: n) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 KO: n) vuonna Jr. Welterweight bout.

Alyson will take home the grand prize of two ringside tickets to the Boxcino finals that will take place on Toukokuu 22 Corona, Kalifornia, a full roundtrip for two to the finals, complete with a hotel stay and meals for two, as well as a guest invitation to the pre-fight weigh in and post fight press conference. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

Philadelphia, PA (Toukokuu 4, 2015)— This past weekend in Las Vegas, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fought in what was the most anticipated bout in a generation. Several big name fighters were in attendance, but the one who appealed most to the hundreds of thousands of fans who flocked Sin City for the fight was “Siperian Rocky” Ruslan Provodnikov.
Provodnikov posed for hundreds of pictures and signed countless autographs. He also participated in “Radio Row” where he talked on a plethora radio stations from around the country.
Provodnikov was also spotted and recognized by “A-List” celebrities who actually asked to take their pictures with the Jr. Welterweight star at the HBO/Showtime pre-fight,red carpet party.

Two-time world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham signs with Al Haymon

Philadelphia (Huhtikuu 21, 2015)–Former two-time world cruiserweight champion and current Heavyweight contender, Steve “USS” Cunningham has signed with adviser Al Haymon.
Cunningham of Philadelphia is excited about the prospects for his future.
“I’m looking forward to working with Al, he’s a genius at what he does. I’ve been watching him for several years and seeing all that he accomplishes for his fighters but have always been on the outside looking in due to contractual obligations. It finally lined up to where we can work together and it’s going to great. I believe my best fights have yet to be seen,”Said Cunningham
Cunningham has a record of 28-7 kanssa 13 aihiot. He won the IBF Cruiserweight championship when he traveled to Poland and defeated Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on May 26, 2007. He defended the title by stopping Marco Huck via 12th round stoppage in Bielfield, Germany on December 29, 2007. Cunningham became a two-time champion on June 5, 2010 when he stopped Troy Ross in five rounds.
Cunningham is coming off a controversial split decision defeat to Vyacheslav Glazkov on Maaliskuu 14 Montrealissa.

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (Huhtikuu 21, 2015)— Johannes “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Toukokuu 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO: n).

Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

Prize Promotions Tabs Russell Peltz and Brittany “Bam” Rogers for Matchmaking Duties

Danbury, CT (Huhtikuu 16, 2015)- At the beginning of April, newly licensed Connecticut boxing promoter A.J. Galante introduced his company, Palkinto kampanjat. Galante spoke of his goal of bringing “Old School” boxing to Connecticut.

To prove he is serious about his vision, Galante has turned his matchmaking over to Hall of Fame Philadelphia promoter, Russell Peltz along with one of the sports youngest and most promising promoters and matchmakers, Bretagne “BAM”

“Russell is the definition of Old School matchmaking, he’s one of the last out there, so it was a no brainer for me to reach out to him, and I am honored that he is willing to work with me.” Galante totesi, “His resume speaks for itself, I am extremely confident that working together, we will put on spectacular shows” Galante was also extremely excited to work with Brittany “BAM” Rogers, who works in conjunction with Russell Peltz,

“I’m often referred to as one of the youngest boxing people on the business side of things, but BAM is actually younger than me, and has been in the sport longer than me. I have a lot of respect for her and have been learning a lot through working with her.”

Ultimately Galante said what cemented his choice on his matchmakers, was a trip to Philladelphia in October, to attend a show promoted by both Peltz and Rogers, “When you think Philly boxing, you think gritty and exciting, and you can’t think Philadelphia boxing without Russell Peltz and Brittany Rogers, and I am looking forward to bringing those types of shows and that environment here to Connecticut.” It won’t be long for Galante to fulfill his promise, as his first show Danbury Fight Night, järjestetään30 toukokuu klo Danbury Arena, in his hometown of Danbury, CT.
