“My camp was pretty good, and just getting down to the nitty gritty. I was sparring two days a week and I am ready to go,” dijo López.

Valcarcel has a record of 14-8-4 con cinco knockouts. La 34 year-old native of Miami, Florida has wins over Jovanny Soto (15-2-1), Rodolfo Garay (14-2-1) & Leivi Brea (16-4-3).

Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th en Dallas, Texas.
“I know he is a 2004 Olímpico. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.
“I always know that Philly is a great fight town. I actually want to see the park here “The Fresh Prince” was bullied at,” Lopez said laughingly.
