Benson turned professional since 2008 believes his career should be further along and he is ready for big opportunities.
“I Should be fighting 10 thiab 12 round fights. I have been asking for those 10 thiab 12 round fights but they keep giving me these kinds of fights.”

“There are a lot of 168 pound fighters out there. The way I look at it is that if you are not Andre Ward, then I don’t think to highly of any of them. Right now the bigger names are ducking me but I know that I have to wait my time.
“All I do is just fight and this fight will be like my last 12 fights. I will come out victorious and you can expect that.”
