Valley Forge, PA (April 16, 2015)On Saturday night, April 18, at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, King’s Promotions will present an outstanding night of boxing that will be headlined by an intriguing 8-round super middleweight bout between Phillip Jackson Benson and Darnell Boone.
Benson of Brooklyn, New York has a record of 15-1 with 14 knockouts and has won twelve straight fights with eleven of those coming via the stoppage route.
“Everything is good.  It is the same old training camp for me,” said the 30 year-old Benson.
Boone of Atlanta, Georgia is known as one of the”toughest outs” in the sport and may have most deceiving record in boxing that reads 20-21-4 with nine knockouts.
“I know he has fought everybody and he sneaks up on prospects.  To me that doesn’t matter. All I do is fight.”
“He has lost 21 times and as soon as I figure him out, I will handle my business like I always do.  This is just another night for me.”
Benson turned professional since 2008 believes his career should be further along and he is ready for big opportunities.
“I Should be fighting 10 and 12 round fights.  I have been asking for those 10 and 12 round fights but they keep giving me these kinds of fights.”
 Benson knows that with a win on Saturday, he may get his wish as there will be opportunities in the Super Middleweight division.
“There are a lot of 168 pound fighters out there.  The way I look at it is that if you are not Andre Ward, then I don’t think to highly of any of them.  Right now the bigger names are ducking me but I know that I have to wait my time.
“All I do is just fight and this fight will be like my last 12 fights.  I will come out victorious and you can expect that.”

Omar Douglas headlines on April 25 at Harrahs Philadelphia;  Plus undefeated Kyrone Davis, Angel Ocasio, Christopher Brooker, Earl newman, Stephan Shaw, Adam Kownacki, Stephen Fulton, Jovontae Starks and Raynell Williams

Chester, PA (April 6, 2015)–On Saturday night, April 25, boxing returns to Harrahs Philadelphia with a terrific card promoted by King’s Promotions and XFE.

In the main event, undefeated lightweight Omar Douglas will see action in an eight-round bout when he takes on an opponent to be named.

Douglas of Wilmington, Delaware has a record of 13-0 with ten knockouts.  He turned pro on May 27, 2011 with a 3rd round disqualification victory over Eric Hall.

Douglas won the NABA USA Super Featherweight title with a 2nd round stoppage over Jean Javier Soto.  Douglas also has a quality win with a 8-round unanimous decision over Jesse Carradine (8-2-2).  In his last bout, Douglas scored an explosive first round stoppage over Osnel Charles on December 5, 2014 at Harrahs Philadelphia.

In a six-round co-feature, Kyrone Davis (6-0, 3 KO’s) of Wilmington, DE will fight Carlos Garcia (7-13-1, 7 KO’s) of Aguada, PR in a super middleweight bout.

In an eight-round bout, Javonte Starks (11-0, 7 KO’s) of Minneapolis, MN. will takeJeremiah Wiggins (10-3-1, 5 KO’s) of Newport News, VA in a welterweight bout..

Paul Koon to battle Rex Harris in a battle of undefeated Heavyweights tonight!! at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA

Frank De Alba takes on Jose Bustos for UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title plus undefeated Juan Dominguez, John Magda, Ivan Golub, Christian and Molina 
Allentown, PA (February 21, 2015)–Over the past several years, heavyweight Paul Koon (2-0, 1 KO) has been rumored to turn professional on various cards in the Philadelphia area.
Each time he decided to sat participating in the World Series of Boxing.
Finally last October 4, Koon turned professional with a one stoppage over Hector Hodge and on November 20, Koon followed that up with a 4-round unanimous decision over Yohan Banks.
Those fights were in Connecticut and California respectively and tonight at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, he takes on Rex Harris(1-0-2) of Wilkes-Barre, PA in Koon’s first area appearance.
That 4-round bout will be part of a nine bout card promoted by King’s Promotions.
In the main event, Frank De Alba (14-1-2, 5 KO’s) of Reading, PA will take on Jose Bustos (7-2-3, 4 KO’s) of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in a 8-round fight for the UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title.
Koon of Philadelphia has been working hard and is looking to put on a good performance.
“Everything is great.  I been working in the gym, sparring and running,”said the 28 year-old.
“All I know about my opponent is that he has fought some MMA fights and he is undefeated (1-0-2) as a boxer.”
Koon is looking for a test as during his 4 year run in the World Series of Boxing, he took on the top fighters from around the world.
“I am used to fighting top level competition.  I am not used to fighting the level of guys I have been fighting in my first couple of fights.  In the World Series of Boxing, you fight only the elite fighters.  There are no journeymen.”
To get to the type of competition that, Koon knows he has to continue to win and make sound decisions with his team.
“It is not one member of my team that decides the pace that I move at.  Whatever they think is best.  Sometimes you have to take it slow.  Me, I like to rush but I know I am learning everything in the business.  This is my first fight in the area in seven years and I am using it as a steppingstone to a fight in Philadelphia.”
In the co-feature, Juan Dominguez (17-0, 11 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will fight Carlos Rodriguez (19-16-4, 11 KO’s) of Los Mochis, MX in a Super Bantamweight bout.

Frank De Alba to take on Jose Bustos for UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title this Saturday night at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA

Allentown, PA (February 19, 2015)–He is one of the hottest fighters on the east coast.  He has become a prospect on everyone’s radar and this Saturday night, Jr. Lightweight Frank De Alba will look for his 13th consecutive victory when he takes on Jose Bustos for the UBF Jr. Lightweight All Americas title in the main event at the Econo Lodge.
The show is promoted by King’s Promotions.
De Alba of Reading, PA has a record of 14-1-2 in and in addition to 12th straight wins, he is unbeaten in his last 14 bouts.
De Alba, who won a 8-round unanimous decision over Jesse Carridine last October 4, went right back in the gym shortly after that bout.
“Training camp has been great.  I have been in camp for two months.  I feel great and excited.  I am ready and in shape and am 100% ready for Saturday,” said De Alba.
On Bustos, De Alba doesn’t seem to know much on the man who will trying to break that winning streak.
“I know nothing about him other than he is from Mexico.  Mexican fighters always come to fight, so I know it will be an exciting fight.”
2015 plans to be a moving year for De Alba for prospect to contender and he knows that this fight could be a dangerous one.
“I know this is a big year.  I have a good streaking going and by the end of the year I should have a good step up fight.  First I am ready for Saturday and I have to start off on a good foot.  I am ready to give my all.”
Bustos of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico has a record of 7-2-3 with 4 knockouts.
The 23 year-old is unbeaten in his last three which includes that last two victories.  He is coming off a 10-round split decision over Hector Mendoza on April 11, 2014 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
Juan Dominguez (17-0, 11 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will fight Jose Cen Torres (13-6, 1 KO) of Merida, Mexico in an 8-round bout for the UBF All Americas Super Bantamweight title.

Introducing undefeated Jr. Middleweight Christian Molina

Molina to take on pro debuting Stacey Anderson this Saturday at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA 
Allentown, PA (February 17, 2015)–Christian Molina did not have much of an amateur background but he has been a quick study and has become one of the top prospects in the Lehigh Valley.
This Saturday he will look to go to 4-0 when he takes on pro debuting Stacey Anderson in a 4-round Jr. Welterweight bout at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA and is promoted by King’s Promotions.
In the main event, Frank De Alba will take on an opponent to be named in a 8-round Jr. Lightweight bout.
Molina, 27 years old of Allentown, PA had just five amateur bouts but has raced off to a perfect 3-0 mark with impressive wins over Dominic Goode, Jordan Morales and Josue Rivera and he now looks for a similar performance against Anderson.
“Training has gone great.  Anderson is a new opponent.  All I know is that he has an MMA background,” said Molina.
“I train hard I make the sacrifices to win.  I look to box and I look to fight.  I just do whatever it takes to fight that opponent.”
The southpaw has already built up a nice following and wants to thrill the fans on Saturday night.
“I just want to thank all the fans and especially the Spanish fans that will come out and support me this Saturday.”

Colon thrills fans with unanimous decision over Munoz Blake defeats Prescott also wins by Davis, Williams, Newman, Fulton, Clark and Russell

Philadelphia, PA (February 2, 2015)–His fans came from hundreds and even thousands of miles away.  Undefeated Jr. Middleweight Prichard Colon made their trip a happy one as he pounded a 6-round unanimous decision over rugged Hector Munoz to highlight an 8-bout card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
The show was promoted by King’s Promotions and XFE.

Colon looked to make it a short night as he landed a huge uppercut that sent Munoz to the canvas in the first round which brought the 2300 Arena to a deafening sound.  Colon continued to drill Munoz with power shot after power shot which drew blood over the left eye of Munoz as early as round three.  Colon continued to show fluid movement while landing hard shots on the game Munoz who fought the last few rounds with that left eye closing.  The blood was running down the face of Munoz which was a result of Colon’s master performance.

Colon of Puerto Rico won by scored of 60-53 twice and 60-51 and is now 13-0.  Munoz of Albuquerque, NM is now 23-14-1.

Grayson Blake fought through some adversity to win a 6-round unanimous decision over Anthony Prescott in a Welterweight bout.

Blake was badly hurt in round two by a big right hand but was able to hold on and stem the tide.  Blake started taking control of the bout and he hurt Prescott in round five with a hard right of his own.

Blake of State College, PA won by scores of 58-56 on all cards and is now 6-3. Prescott of Cherry Hill, NJ is 5-5-2.

Kyrone Davis pounded out a 6-round unanimous decision over Jonathan Garcia in an entertaining Middleweight bout.

Davis of Wilmington, DE won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0.  Garcia of Aguada, PR is 4-12.

Rayell Williams overcame a 4th round knockdown to win a 6-round unanimous decision over Ryan Picou in a Lightweight bout.

Williams got the better of the action but was caught with a right hand that stumbled him back on the canvas.  He was able to recover and box his way to the unanimous decision by scores of 59-55 twice and 58-55.

Williams, who was a 2008 Olympian out of Cleveland, OH is 6-0.  Picou of Las Vegas is 2-5.

Earl Newman dropped Yusshua Zadok in round three from a hard left to the body won a 4-round unanimous decision in a Cruiserweight bout.

Newman of Brooklyn, NY won by 40-35 tallies on all cards is now 4-1.  Zadok of Atlanta. GA is 2-3-1.

Stephen Fulton of Philadelphia won a 6-round unanimous decision over Eric Gotay in a Jr. Featherweight bout.

Fulton won by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice is now 4-0.  Gotay of Puerto Rico is 3-3.

Jamontay Clark boxed his way to a 4-round unanimous decision over Dominique Foster in a Welterweight bout.

Clark bloodied Foster’s nose in round two and won by shutout margins of 40-36 on all cards.

Clark of Cincinnati, OH is 4-0.  Foster of of Las Vegas is 2-7-1.

In the opening bout, Antonio Russell scored a scary and wicked 2nd round stoppage over Harold Reyes in a scheduled 4-round Bantamweight bout.

Russell landed a nice combination in the corner which was culminated by a booming right hand that sent Reyes down and out for several minutes.

Reyes had to have some oxygen applied but he was able to walk out of the ring under his own power.

The time of the stoppage was 2:10 of round two for Russell of Capitol Heights, MD who made his pro debut.  Reyes of Puerto Rico is 1-2.

Davis out of Wilmington, Delaware has a record of 5-0 with three knockouts and the former amateur standout is excited about his fight this Saturday.

“Training went well.  I know that Garcia is a durable guy who has fought good competition.  My goal on Saturday is to put on a good, clean performance.  Not to get hit and give everyone a good show for my first fight in Philly,”said the 20 year-old Davis.

Davis was 91-9 as an amateur, who won two National PAL tournaments and competed in Olympic trials is looking forward to his local debut.

“Even know I was born in New Jersey and live in Delaware, I train in Philadelphia.  I have not fought here professionally and I am coming back to show everyone what I am doing.  I am going to fight smart and push for the knockout.  I just want to be a great pro.”

“I am in good spirits and have put in lots of road work.  I have a great team with my trainer Stephen Edwards.  This is the longest camp we have had as I was supposed to fight in December and went that did not happen, we stayed training.  I am in the best shape.  This is my first six round fight but we prepared to go even longer so it wont be a problem.  I expect to perform at the next level.

Stephen “Scooter” Fulton to take on Eric Gotaythis Saturday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (January 26, 2015)–This Saturday night at the 2300 Arena, undefeated Super Bantamweight Stephen “Scooter” Fulton will look to remain perfect when he takes on Eric Gotay in a 4-round bout on a show promoted by King’s Promotions.

The main event will see undefeated Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO’s) of Orocovis, Puerto Rico taking on Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO’s) of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 8-round Jr. Middleweight fight.

Fulton of Philadelphia has a record of 3-0 with 1 knockout and he has had a good camp as he prepares for his 2nd consecutive hometown appearance.

“Everything has been great.  I been working on a strength and conditioning.  I have been getting great pad work and my trainers have been pushing me real hard.  We are looking to fight 6-rounds but I am preparing for more,”said the 20 year-old Fulton.

Fulton has been trying find out about Gotay but has only found very little information on his opponent.

“The only thing I really know about him is that he has long arms and he likes to jab.”

Fulton, who made his Philadelphia debut with a 4-round unanimous decision over Benjamin Burgos on December 5 enjoy his hometown but he prefers to fight out of town.

“I enjoy fighting away from here.  There is more pressure fighting home, but I am very focused.”

That pressure is nothing to new to Fulton as the decorated amateur was a National Silver Gloves champion, a Ringside champion and competed in the World Series of boxing where he went 2-1.

Fulton has been hailed by some as a future star of boxing and he wants to appeal to the fans.

“I want to make sure people notice me and enjoy my fighting style.  A lot of people will notice me by the end of the year and hopefully I can get some television time.  Take a good look at me and see where I am, because i a few years, I will be a world champion.
