Confident Lenin Castillo About Taking on Marcus Browne and His Undefeated Record

After winning the WBO NABO Light Heavyweight title in the month of April, former Olympian Lenin Castillo, Dominik Respublikasi, will travel to New York, for the fight that will place him at the door of a world title fight.

The popular Napoleon, owner of both Overthrow Gyms in Manhattan and Brooklyn, won her world title on March 3 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn with a dominant ten-round decision over previously undefeated Femke Hermans in front of a huge contingent of supporters from both Long Island and New York City. Napoleon had a previous fight scheduled for June 21 postponed and has continued training in preparation to defend her world title.

 

 

 

Fighting in the paid ranks for just one-year, Rankin defeated then undefeated Sanna Turunen over ten rounds in June to capture the vacant WBC Silver Women’s Middleweight Title and her third straight victory headed into August 4.

 

 

 

A professional musician outside of the ring, the 27-year-old Rankin plays the bassoon and has traveled the world in recent years playing with numerous orchestras while also training and furthering her career in the squared circle.

2016 U.S. Olympian Charles Conwell battles Travis Scott This Saturday in New Orleans

Nyu York, NY (Iyul 12, 2018)–Bu shanba, undefeated and 2016 U.S. Olympian Charles Conwell (7-0, 5 KOS) takes on his toughest opponent to date when he takes on Travis Scott (19-3, 5 KOS) in a super welterweight bout scheduled for six-rounds at The Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

 

 

Conwell, 20 years-old out of Cleveland will look to continue his winning ways against Scott, who will be facing his 3rd straight undefeated opponent.

Nyu York, NY (Iyun 22, 2018)-Raquel Miller kept her prefect record intact with a six-round unanimous decision over Szilvia Szabados in a middleweight bout at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, Nyu York.

 

 

 

Miller stunned and hurt Szabados throughout the contest. Miller, who was making her New York City debut showed her versatility by featuring a diverse arsenal of punches with both hands.

 

 

 

Miller handled the former world-title challenger with ease as she won by shutout scores of 60-54 hamma kartochkalar bo'yicha.

 

 

 

Miller wore a ring outfit that paid homage to the movie Black Panther.

 

 

 

The 2012 United States Olympic Alternate, Miller continued her dominance as a professional as her record soared to 6-0.

Mrkanovic now eyeing rematch with UBF champ Josh Himes

Queens, Nyu York (May 22, 2018)–Armin “The Bosnian Prince” Mrkanovic returned to the ring after an 11-month absence to win a win six-round unanimous decision over Nicholas Lavin in a cruiserweight bout that took place this past Friday night at Amazura Concert Hall in the Jamaica section of Mrkanovic’s hometown of Queens, Nyu York.

 

 

 

Mrkanovic controlled the action, and won by shutout scores of 60-54 on all cards to up his record to 8-3.

 

 

 

The bout was the 1st ring appearance for Mrkanovic since his highly controversial defeat against Josh Himes that took place last June 24th in West Virginia.

 

 

 

Ushbu jangda, Mrkanovic should have been awarded the bout as he outboxed Himes, and even asked for a review of the fight by the UBF, but his requests fell on deaf ears, and now Mrkanovic is demanding a rematch for the UBF title.

 

 

 

“1st of all, it was good to come back and get a win. It its always special to perform in front of my hometown fans,” said Mrkanovic, whose focus quickly turned to Himes and the UBF.

 

 

 

“I demand a rematch with Himes. The UBF told me that they would make this happen, and to this point they have been silent. Everyone who saw the fight knows that I got screwed, so it is only right that we do this rematch. Himes knows what happened. He has not even fought since our fight. I am ready now, so hopefully the UBF and Himes do the right thing and make this happen.”
