Judges were very busy as all 10 exciting bouts, including a Junior Olympic match and two non-tournament bouts, went the complete distance. The eight men’s individual open class winners earned spots on Team New England for the 2016 National Golden Gloves Championships, മേയ് 16-21, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Crowsneck Boutin, a regular on NEF MMA cards since 2012, made his professional boxing debut earlier this month on the “NEF 21” event in Lewiston. Boutin, considered the underdog in that bout, expertly worked his jab to control the first two rounds of the fight.
