Tri-Star Boxing returns to Nashville March 17!

Nashville, TN (March 8, 2017) – Professional Boxing returns to the Music City when Tri-Star Boxing presents “St Paddy’s Day Fights at the Fairgrounds” Labohlano, March 17 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Sports Arena in Nashville, TN.

Headlining this exciting evening of action is a six round super featherweight bout between Hendersonville, TN’s Austin “The Dream” Dulay and iron-chinned Micah Branch of Cincinnati, OH. A multi-time champion as an amateur, the 21-year-old Dulay is a perfect 8-0 le 6 wins by knockout and is building a reputation as a solid prospect.
A 21 fight veteran, Branch has never been stopped and fought a number of unbeaten foes including Mel Crossty, Nate Green, Tite Williams, Brandon Williams, Dimash Niyazov and Derrick Murray.
The co-feature pits Nashville-based Guatemalan Edwin Reyes against Lockhart, TX’s Richard Hernandez in an eight round junior flyweight contest. The heavy-handed Reyes is 5-2-2 and all of his wins are by way of knockout. Hernandez, 4-8-1, looks for his third straight victory and is fighting for the first time in Tennessee.
Super middleweight knockout artist Sena Agbeko, 15-1 (15 KO oa), returns from a 3 year layoff to challenge tough veteran Timothy Hall. Originally from Ghana but now living in Nashville, Agbeko was featured as part of ESPN’s Boxcino Tournament in 2014. During his time away from the ring, Agbeko’s sparred with a number of notable fighters while also making himself a name locally by working as a trainer.
The Atlanta, GA based Hall’s gone the distance with a number of quality fighters including former world champion Jeff Lacy, Juan Ubaldo Cabrera, Morgan Fitch, Immanuwel Aleem and 2008 Olympian Lenin Castillo among others.
The talent-laden undercard also features unbeatens Jovann Barnes, Winfred Harris and Mohamed Adam, cruiserweight spoiler Mike Bissett and heavyweight Rodricka Ray all in separate bouts.

The architect and impresario behind the fabled The Rumble In the Jungle le Thrilla a Manila and countless other historic classic boxing events, King will dole out the thousands of birds in Cleveland, Nashville, New Jersey, Los Angeles, New York, Palm Beach, Fla., Deerfield Beach, Fla., Miami and Las Vegas.
