BELLATOR SIGNS 24 U.K. AND IRELAND-BASED FIGHTERS TO EXCLUSIVE MULTI-FIGHT AGREEMENTS

LOS ANGELES – Bellator today announced the signing of 24 U.K. and Ireland-based athletes to bolster the roster as the organization continues its growth initiative in the region, following already-announced plans for an exclusive fight series set to take place throughout the U.K., Ireland and western Europe.

Notavelmente, former two-division BAMMA champ Terry Brazier, TUF: The Smashes lightweight winner Norman Parke, popular Irish lightweight Paul Redmond, undefeated SBG Ireland product Kiefer Crosbie and TUF season 27-veteran Richie Smullen, are among the names now signed to exclusive multi-fight agreements with Bellator.

“Growing the Bellator organization throughout U.K. and Ireland has been a top priority for us for quite some time,”Disse o Presidente Bellator Scott Coker. “Adding up-and-coming, as well as established, talent from the region to our roster plays a crucial role in us being able to take the next steps in this market. Bellator has previously held events throughout the U.K. and Ireland, including London, Dublin, Belfast and Newcastle. INGUSHETIA, Rússia (Julho 22, 2018) – Pluma americana Nate “O trem” Landwehr (retratado para a esquerda) continuou rolando, como ele parou Khamzat Dalgiev para conquistar o título peso pena do M-1 Challenge, na noite passada M-1 Desafio 95: Batalha nas Montanhas 7 evento principal na Inguchétia, Rússia.

No evento co-featured, Campeão peso galo do M-1 Challenge Movsar Evloev desafiante brasileiro derrotado Rafael Dias para reter sua coroa.

Uma noite espetacular de luta profissional de artes marciais mistas, apresentando um elenco talentoso de lutadores internacionais de nove países diferentes, foi destacado pelo triunfo de Landwehr.

Lutando fora de Clarksville, Tennessee, Landwehr (11-2-0) lutou contra o atual campeão Dalgiev (10-2-0) do início ao fim em uma partida incrível. Landwehr finalizou seu oponente russo (foto abaixo), quem ganhou 10 lutas consecutivas desde que perdeu sua estreia profissional, na segunda rodada com um ataque eletrizante de ground and pound para garantir o cobiçado cinturão do título dos penas do M-1 Challenge.

Khamzat Dalgiev (R) conecta contra Ivan Buchinger

SÃO PETERSBURGO, Rússia (Julho 18) – M-1 Challenge campeão dos penas Khamzat Dalgiev (10-1-0, M-1: 7-1-0) defende seu título neste sábado contra seu desafiante americano, Nate “O trem” Landwehr (10-2-0, M-1: 2-0-0), em o Desafio M-1 95: Batalha nas Montanhas evento principal, este sábado na Inguchétia, Rússia.

Um lutador de MMA versátil e talentoso, Dalgiev entrou “The Rage” para uma entrevista individual:

Quando você começou no MMA??

KD: “Comecei a treinar judô quando era criança e realmente adorei. Depois de um campeonato, onde os juízes tomaram algumas decisões muito ruins que me impediram de me tornar o campeão nacional, Eu decidi seguir em frente. Naquela época não havia academias de MMA por perto, então eu acabei de assistir vídeos de lutas e esperava começar a lutar um dia. Depois de um tempo, um amigo meu me contou sobre a inauguração de uma academia de MMA e eu entendi que essa era a minha chance. Lembro-me de ter ficado longe do The Rage em um dos primeiros shows do M-1 Global na Inguchétia, sonhando em entrar no Rage um dia sozinha.”

Em que você teve que se esforçar mais para se tornar o lutador que é hoje?

KD: “No inicio da minha carreira, a coisa mais difícil para mim foi golpear, porque eu só tinha um histórico de wrestling. Mas posso dizer com certeza que é muito mais fácil para um lutador aprender a trocação do que para um atacante aprender a lutar. Depois de alguns meses de treinamento intenso, Eu tive minha primeira luta.

“Nas minhas primeiras lutas, Eu preferia usar minhas habilidades de luta livre para derrotar meus oponentes, mas como minha trocação estava ficando melhor, Comecei a usar cada vez mais e gostei muito. Na próxima luta eu adoraria adicionar a quarta vitória por nocaute ao meu recorde.”

Você pode falar um pouco sobre sua única derrota profissional que veio em sua estreia?

KD: “Na minha luta de estreia, Eu lutei com um lutador muito mais experiente, Ali Bagov, quem tinha mais do que 20 lutas profissionais em seu registro. Não me importei com o histórico dele porque são apenas números e nunca escolhi meus oponentes. Se você quer ser o melhor, você tem que lutar contra os melhores.

“Essa derrota na minha luta de estreia me mudou muito como lutadora. Ganhei experiência, começou a treinar mais forte e desde então, com a ajuda de Deus, Eu ganhei 10 lutas seguidas. Mesmo se eu pudesse mudar e recusar essa luta, Eu nunca faria isso porque aquela luta foi uma das mais importantes da minha carreira.”

Qual é a chave para o seu sucesso?

KD: “Se você quer ter sucesso, você tem que trabalhar duro 24/7 e não poupar esforços. Você tem que definir uma meta e fazer o melhor para alcançá-la, limpando todos os obstáculos em seu caminho.

Você pode relembrar seu desempenho na conquista do título e explicar o que aconteceu?

“Na luta pelo título contra Ivan Buchinger, Tive muita confiança de que o cinturão do título será meu. Eu estava extremamente motivado e não senti seus socos. Ele poderia dar um bom tiro na minha cabeça que causou um nocaute rápido, mas não me abalou. Não perdi a concentração e continuei controlando a luta. Eu estava ouvindo o meu corner e com a ajuda deles nocauteei o campeão.

“Por essa vitória, o presidente da Inguchétia Yunus-bek Yevkurov, me deu um presente generoso – Toyota Camry – e quando cheguei em casa naquela noite, Dei para minha mãe porque acredito que mãe é a pessoa mais importante na vida de qualquer pessoa. Nem sempre estou em casa, não temos pai e meu irmão é muito jovem para ajudar nossa mãe, então a mãe poderia usar um carro para tornar sua vida um pouco mais fácil.

O que você sente sobre seu oponente, Nate Landwehr?

KD: “Nate Landwehr é um lutador muito agressivo e eu adoro isso. Ele continua pressionando seus oponentes o tempo todo, não importa o que, e mesmo se ele comer alguns socos, ele não para, e é exatamente assim que eu luto. Nada pode me parar! Assim, Não tenho dúvidas de que nossa luta vai ser a melhor luta da noite!

“A melhor vitória é a vitória rápida, então eu gostaria de terminar ‘The Train’ cedo. Por outro lado, uma batalha dura de cinco rounds me daria muito mais experiência e um impulso para minha carreira. De qualquer forma, Vou fazer o meu melhor e usar qualquer oportunidade para finalizar meu oponente. Meu objetivo é me tornar um lutador melhor e deixar uma marca na história do MMA!”

Como você conseguiu seu apelido, 'O trem”?

NL: “Meu amigo começou a me chamar de Nate Train no final do ensino médio. Eu adicionei 'o’ lá para que eu pudesse falar merda no campo de futebol na escola, Eu só gostava de dizer: 'Você acabou de ser atropelado pelo trem!’ Quando eu comecei a lutar foi um acéfalo. Eu era muito bom no futebol e foi aí que me apaixonei pelo contato e pelos golpes duros.”

Onde está o seu comportamento agressivo?, fisicamente e verbalmente, vem de onde?

NL: “Eu sempre fui alto e confiante. Mais, Adorei me exibir e falar merda, então eu me coloquei em muitos, muitas lutas. Eu não era um touro. Eu era muito pequeno para isso, mas eu me colocaria em uma situação e teria que lutar para sair dela.”

Quando sua carreira no MMA mudou??

NL: “Eu estava trabalhando em um emprego de tempo integral até que perdi pela segunda vez na minha carreira. Depois dessa perda, Deixei o meu emprego, começou a treinar em tempo integral e não perdeu desde então.”

A quem você dá mais crédito em termos de onde você está agora no MMA??

NL: “Minha esposa, Robyn, é o mais importante. Sem ela eu não seria nada. Ela tem me apoiado desde o primeiro dia. A maioria dos lutadores começa acreditando apenas que eles poderiam fazer isso, Comecei com dois.”

Como você se sente lutando na Rússia?

NL: Estive em muitos lugares ao redor do mundo viajando com minha esposa. Assim, Fiquei muito feliz por poder ir para a Rússia e ser pago por isso. A Rússia é muito bonita e a arquitetura lá é deslumbrante. Estou ansioso para explorar e experimentar mais de sua terra e cultura no futuro. Eu recomendo ir se você nunca esteve lá!”

Conforme sua luta pelo título se aproxima, como você se sente sobre essa disputa pelo título?

NL: “Estou ansioso para ver o meu título e mal posso esperar. Lembra-me do filme ROCKY IV. Os fãs terão um show que nunca esquecerão. Muitos fãs russos me amam e me enviam mensagens pessoalmente nas redes sociais, dizendo, Eu faço as melhores lutas que eles já viram e me agradeço por isso. Meu trabalho principal é fazer crentes!”

Como você tem sido tratado pelos fãs russos?

NL: “Depois das duas últimas lutas, Tive as maiores filas de fãs para tirar fotos e dar autógrafos. O que me torna especial é minha paixão e coração. Você pode não se lembrar de toda a luta, mas você vai se lembrar da sensação que teve quando viu um show do Nate the Train!”

O que você espera do campeão, Khamzat Dalgiev?

DL: “Espero um homem altamente motivado, pronto para fazer o que for preciso para manter esse título, lutando na frente de seus fãs e em seu país, mas não será o suficiente para me derrotar. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Julho 17, 2018) – O último entidade no MMA, MMA Pro League, has secured a multi-fight deal with FloSports to exclusively stream all MMA Pro League action live on their worldwide combat sports site, FloCombat.com.

This deal will begin with MMA Pro League’s inaugural event that will now take place Sábado, Sete. 15, at the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City and feature Team New Jersey and head coach Dan Miller of the Miller Brothers taking on Team Pennsylvania, who are led by head coach Daniel Gracie da família Gracie renome.

Fights streaming on FloCombat.com will include main card team action and preliminary matches, with the prelim bouts also available on FloCombat’s Facebook page. In the weeks leading up to live MMA Pro League events, both MMA Pro League and FloCombat will utilize their social and digital media platforms to provide content to fans such as regular updates from training camps, coverage of fight week activities including weigh-in and team workouts, plus original behind-the-scenes video.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Julho 16, 2018) – Lutador brasileiro de MMA invicto Bruno Ferreira (8-0-0) returns to action August 11 after successfully battling cancer the past three years.

The now 30-year-old Ferreira will take on always dangerous Tony Gravely (12-5-0), da Virgínia, em “Estrada para M-1: EUA”, apresentado pela M-1 Global USA e Angel Fight Promotions.

“The cancer treatment was very severe. I had three surgeries and several cycles of chemotherapy, which was so strong and bad that every cycle – lasting from Monday to Friday – was four to five hours. It seemed like I was dying. I tried to cheer up my mother and wife before each surgery, but the fear inside me was huge. When I woke up, I thanked God that I had survived.”

“Estrada para M-1: EUA” will air live on worldwide pay-per-view from Global Mall in Nashville, Tennessee. Uma gaiola de anel híbrida, “The Rage”, will make its debut in America.

Diagnosed with testicular cancer three years ago, Ferreira’s rise to the top of the MMA world was derailed with his life-threatening medical issue, which severely jeopardized his combat sports career. Sessions of heavy-duty chemotherapy and three surgeries left Ferreira wondering if he’d survive, never mind fight once again.

Although he continued to train, albeit at a much lower level of intensity, he increased the potency of his training after treatments concluded, but he had lost his training rhythm. A restricted diet enabled Bruno to come back strong and now he’s making his post-cancer return in his American debut.

Ferreira does admit that, at one stage, he never thought he’d fight again. “There were a few moments,’ he explained, “especially when I first discovered it. I had a conversation with my brother about my MMA career being over. Ele disse: ‘Calm down, you’ll just delay it a little while.’ The hope of returning to fight gave me strength, but sometimes did cross my mind that I wouldn’t recover from my time off. Thanks to God I came back and today I am about to realize my greatest dream.

“Fighting on worldwide pay per view will have an even more special taste because all the people who helped me will be able to watch and see that not only and I’m doing well, I’m doing what I like the most….luta!

“I want to grow inside of M-1 Global, in search of a title belt, living to fight. I also want to let others suffering from cancer to know that this disease does not always end in death. They need to have a lot of faith in God and live one day at a time. Wake up, obrigado; sleep, obrigado. I heard a lot of bad things, but I didn’t give up. Be thankful for your miracle, I believe mine has already happened.”

Other scheduled main-card fights include Georgia flyweight C.
