LOS ANGELES – Bellator today announced the signing of 24 REINO UNIDO. and Ireland-based athletes to bolster the roster as the organization continues its growth initiative in the region, following already-announced plans for an exclusive fight series set to take place throughout the U.K., Ireland and western Europe.

 

Notably, former two-division BAMMA champ Brasero de terry, TUF: The Smashes lightweight winner Norman Parke, popular Irish lightweight Paul Redmond, undefeated SBG Ireland product Kiefer Crosbie and TUF season 27-veteran Richie Smullen, are among the names now signed to exclusive multi-fight agreements with Bellator.

SAN PETERSBURGO, Rusia (Julio 18) – M-1 Challenge campeón de peso pluma Khamzat Dalgiev (10-1-0, M-1: 7-1-0) defiende su título este sábado contra su retador estadounidense, Nate “El tren” Landwehr (10-2-0, M-1: 2-0-0), en el desafío M-1 95: Batalla en las montañas evento principal, este sabado en Ingushetia, Rusia.

¿Cuándo empezaste en MMA??

 

 

 

KD: “Empecé a entrenar en judo cuando era niño y realmente me encantó. Después de un campeonato, donde los jueces tomaron algunas decisiones muy malas que me impidieron convertirme en el campeón nacional, Decidí seguir adelante. En ese momento no había gimnasios de MMA alrededor, así que solo vi videos de pelea y esperaba comenzar a pelear algún día. Después de un tiempo, un amigo mío me contó sobre la apertura de un gimnasio de MMA y comprendí que esta era mi oportunidad. ¿Cuál es la clave de tu éxito??

 

 

 

KD: “Si quieres triunfar, Tienes que trabajar duro 24/7 y no escatimar esfuerzos. Tienes que establecer una meta y hacer tu mejor esfuerzo para alcanzarla, despejando todos los obstáculos en tu camino.

 

¿Puedes mirar hacia atrás en tu actuación ganadora del título y explicar lo que sucedió??

 

 

 

“En la pelea por el título contra Ivan Buchinger, Tenía mucha confianza en que el título será mío. Estaba extremadamente motivado y no sentía sus golpes. Él pudo lanzar un buen disparo a mi cabeza que causó una caída repentina, pero no me sacudió. No perdí la concentración y seguí controlando la pelea. Estaba escuchando mi esquina y con su ayuda noqueé al campeón.

 

 

 

“Por esa victoria, el presidente de Ingushetia Yunus-bek Yevkurov, me dio un generoso regalo – Toyota Camry – y cuando llegué a casa esa noche, Se lo di a mi madre porque creo que una madre es la persona más importante en la vida para cualquier persona. KD: “Nate Landwehr es un luchador muy agresivo y me encanta.. ¿Cómo conseguiste tu apodo?, 'El tren”?

 

 

 

NL: “Mi amigo comenzó a llamarme Nate Train en la secundaria tardía. Agregué ‘el’ allí para poder hablar mierda en el campo de fútbol en la escuela secundaria, Solo me gustaba decir: ‘Acabas de ser atropellado por el tren!’ Cuando empecé a pelear era obvio. Era muy bueno en el fútbol y ahí es donde me enamoré del contacto y los golpes duros.”

 

¿De dónde viene tu comportamiento agresivo?, física y verbalmente, viene de?

 

 

 

NL: “Siempre he sido ruidoso y confiado. Más, Me encantaba presumir y hablar mierda, así que me metí en muchos, muchas peleas. Yo no era un toro. Yo era demasiado pequeño para eso, pero me pondría en una situación y tendría que luchar para salir de ella.”

 

¿Cuándo cambió tu carrera de MMA??

 

 

 

NL: “Estaba trabajando a tiempo completo hasta que perdí por segunda vez en mi carrera.. Después de esa pérdida, Renuncie a mi trabajo, Empecé a entrenar a tiempo completo y no he perdido desde entonces.”

 

¿A quién le da más crédito en términos de dónde se encuentra ahora en MMA??

 

 

 

NL: “Mi mujer, Robyn, es lo mas importante. Sin ella no sería nada. Ella me ha apoyado desde el primer día. La mayoría de los luchadores comienzan con solo ellos mismos creyendo que podrían hacerlo, Empecé con dos.”

 

¿Qué te parece pelear en Rusia??

 

 

 

NL: He estado viajando con mi esposa por muchos lugares del mundo. Así, Estaba muy feliz de poder ir a Rusia y cobrar por ello. Rusia es muy hermosa y la arquitectura allí es impresionante.. Tengo muchas ganas de explorar y experimentar más de su tierra y cultura en el futuro. Recomiendo ir si nunca has estado allí!”

NL: “Después de las dos últimas peleas., He tenido las mayores filas de fanáticos para tomar fotos y firmar autógrafos. Lo que me hace especial es mi pasión y corazón.. Puede que no recuerdes toda la pelea, pero recordará la sensación que tuvo cuando vio un espectáculo de Nate the Train!”

 

¿Qué esperas del campeón?, Khamzat Dalgiev?

 

 

DL: “Espero un hombre altamente motivado listo para hacer lo que sea necesario para mantener ese título, peleando frente a sus fanáticos y en su país de origen, pero no será suficiente para derrotarme. Esta tiene la pelea del año escrita por todas partes, seguido por Knockout of the Night para mí. Estoy dispuesto a caminar por el infierno para convertirme en campeón mundial y nada puede detenerme en este momento. Soy un hombre en una misión que comenzó con un niño y su sueño.”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Julio 16, 2018) – Undefeated Brazilian MMA fighter Bruno Ferreira (8-0-0) returns to action August 11 after successfully battling cancer the past three years.

Diagnosed with testicular cancer three years ago, Ferreira’s rise to the top of the MMA world was derailed with his life-threatening medical issue, which severely jeopardized his combat sports career. Although he continued to train, albeit at a much lower level of intensity, he increased the potency of his training after treatments concluded, but he had lost his training rhythm. A restricted diet enabled Bruno to come back strong and now he’s making his post-cancer return in his American debut.

 

 

 

Ferreira does admit that, at one stage, he never thought he’d fight again. “There were a few moments,’ él explicó, “especially when I first discovered it.
