MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS SIGNS EXCITING LIGHTWEIGHT CONTENDER SHARIF “LE LION” BOGERE

LAS VEGAS (Mars 10, 2016) – Promotions Mayweather is pleased to announce the signing of exciting lightweight contender Sharif “Le lion” Bogere to their growing stable of championship-caliber fighters.
Bogere (27-1, 19 KOs) has won his last four fights by knockout and is eager to return to the ring with the support of his new promoter.
“This is such a great day for me and an important move for my career,” dit Bogère. “I’m very thankful to Floyd, Leonard, and the whole Mayweather Promotions team. I cannot wait to get back in the ring and show everybody why I’m a future world champion. I want to fight the best and I feel this will put me in a position to conquer the sport.”
Mayweather Promotions boasts over 20 professional fighters included current and former world champions Badou Jack, Mickey Bey and Ishe Smith, in addition to the recently retired 12-time world champion and President of Mayweather Promotions, Floyd Mayweather.

Las Vegas (Décembre 18) – Le “force” was with Cuban star and newly crowned lightweight world champion Rances Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs) as he won a 12-round unanimous decision over Russian southpaw Denis Shafikov (36-2-1, 19 KOs) in the headlining bout of the final Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) sur Spike fight card of 2015. The four-fight telecast, which was supported by non-televised fights featuring some of Mayweather Promotions’ étoiles montantes, took place at the Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Coming off of a luxury world tour, Floyd Mayweather returned stateside and sat ringside as promoter of tonight’s fights. The recently retired five-division world champion, who also learned today he was selected asSports Illustrated Fighter de l'année, was animated and engaged through the final bell of the evening.
L'événement principal, which started off as a close toe-to-toe battle, ended in the Barthelemy’s favor as he swept the latter quarter of the bout. Shafikov controlled the beginning of the fight, staying in the pocket and throwing more powerful punches than Barthelemy as the Cuban had a difficult time adjusting to the significantly shorter, yet stronger, style of Shafikov.
The turning point of the fight occurred when a cut caused by a punch by Barthelemy opened up above Shafikov’s right eye in the eighth round. The blood began to poor furiously and referee Vic Drakulich called the ringside doctor over to inspect the cut. When the fight resumed, Barthelemy attacked the Russian’s eye and never let up for the remainder of the fight. He took advantage of the cut and coupled it with his height and reach advantage which led to a recipe for success as he is now a two-division world champion. The judges saw the bout 119-109 et 116-112 deux fois.
“There were moments where I was trapped into my style of fighting. It took me a minute to adjust to Shafikov’s style and exchange punches with him,” Saïd Barthélemy. “I’m really happy with the number of punches I was able to get off.
“I was really impressed with Shafiov’s warrior style. He never gave up even after getting hurt with punches that were affecting his fight. That really caught me by surprise and also that he was able to last the whole fight. The fact that he continued really says something about him as a fighter.”
“I’m not sure if I won the fight,” Saïd Shafikov. “I’m very disappointed and I want a rematch.”
The co-main event saw a bizarre ending to what was to be a cruiserweight elimination bout. Detroit southpawIsiah Thomas (15-0, 6 KOs) was winning the fight on all three judges’ scorecards through round three when Russian power-puncher Murat “Fer” Gassiev (22-0, 16 KOs) threw accidental late blows to Thomas’ head after the bell. The punches forced referee Jay Nady to make the tough call that the punches “diminished the value” of Thomas’ ability to continue. As the fight had not yet gone four rounds, unified rules state that the fight does not go to the scorecards, thus ruling it a no contest.
Chris Pearson (16-1 11 KOs), a promising super welterweight from Dayton, Ohio put his previously undefeated record on the line against fellow unbeaten Eric Walker (12-0, 6 KOs) of Plaquemine, Louisiana in the second televised bout. Walker came out strong, dominating the early rounds against Pearson, another member of the stable of rising stars from Mayweather Promotions. A wobbled Pearson persevered and attempted to turn the tide in an action-packed fifth round with a series of head shots.

The seventh round saw both fighters exchanging a brutal barrage of punches culminating with a fast-paced eighth and final round drawing a standing ovation from the crowd. The underdog Walker, who spent 13 years in Dixon Correctional Institute in Louisiana, scored a unanimous decision victory (79-71, 78-74, 80-72) winning the biggest fight of his life in front of a captivated national TV audience.

“If you believe in God and work hard at what you’re doing, you’re going to succeed,” dit Walker. “Look at me now.
“I had watched his previous fights and knew that my right hand would be too much for him and that I could land it anytime,” continued Walker. “My conditioning was really the difference tonight. I was in great shape and I was able to rely on that when the going got tough.”

Pearson was disappointed in the decision and was left wanting a rematch.

Sanchez showed his toughness and resiliency as he forced Davis to fight three rounds longer than any fight of his career.Davis showed his speed and power in the eighth round as he landed an uppercut to knock down his determined opponent. In the ninth round, he threw a massive left hand to finish Sanchez, sending Mayweather to his feet in celebration.

“It felt great to fight all of these rounds and get the work in,” a déclaré Davis. “He’s a tough fighter and I learned a great deal tonight. It was a very good experience for me.
“I just listened to my corner and Floyd, took my time and broke him down. I want to fight again as soon as possible for a world title.”
Mayweather, who was very pleased with Davis’ performance, sees the young undefeated fighter’s future as bright.
“It’s always good to go out there and get the W,” Saïd Mayweather. “Il est jeune. He’s still learning. We’re looking forward to him being a world champion some day.”

LAS VEGAS (Septembre 29, 2015) – Javier “Le Abejón” Fortune (29-0-1, 21 KOs) utilisé une attaque sans relâche pour arrêter Carlos “Lits de rêve” Velasquez (19-2, 12 KOs) dans le dixième tour et conserver son titre mondial des super-plumes sur Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) MARDIS TOE-to-toe sur FS1 et Champions de boxe sur la FOX Sports du théâtre perle au Palms Casino Resort.
Fortuna bombardé Velasquez de la cloche d'ouverture, en utilisant son style maladroit-pression pour ouvrir des possibilités à la terre poinçons. Il est sorti fort une fois de plus dans le dixième tour, l'atterrissage d'une série de coups de feu sans réponse qui a incité l'arbitre Russell Mora à arrêter le combat trente-cinq secondes dans la ronde. Au moment de l'arrêt, les juges’ scores étaient 88-82, 87-83 et 86-84 tout pour Fortuna.
En cas de co-principal, welters invaincus super Domonique Dolton (17-0-1, 9 KOs) et Oscar Molina (13-0-1, 10 KOs) se sont battus pour un tirage majorité dans un divertissant, va-et-vient la ferraille.
Dolton jeté plus de coups que Molina, mais Molina a atterri à un pourcentage plus élevé et a pu atterrir ses coups de puissance plus 50 pour cent du temps. Dans la troisième manche, Molina avait ses meilleurs moments quand il a vacillé Dolton avec une main droite, mais Dolton retrouvé son calme et a terminé la ronde forte. Les deux hommes ont continué à vague à des moments tout au long des journées de la fin et ont été des coups de poing tout le chemin à la cloche finale.
Les juges’ totaux étaient 95-95 deux fois et 97-93 pour Fortuna. En tout, Dolton atterri 145 en dehors de 479 poinçons tandis Molina débarqué 134 en dehors de 326.

“Je attendais à Counter Punch Velasquez. Le rythme de la lutte était important. Je suis dans le contrôle de la lutte parce que je pouvais contrôler le rythme.
“Je ai eu ce style depuis que je suis un amateur. Je l'ai appris plus sur la façon d'être agressif et je l'ai toujours essayé d'appuyer sur l'action tout au long de ma carrière.
“Je savais que je l'ai eu avec un bon coup quand je lui ai renversé. Je me suis blessé la main gauche après cela, mais il était juste une question de temps jusqu'à ce que je l'ai eu à nouveau. Je ne jette pas ma gauche trop après que.
“Je vis ses plans à venir. Je l'aurais profité plus tôt, mais je me suis blessé la main. Si je ne l'avais pas blesser ma main, il aurait pas duré cinq tours.
“Je regardais son coin que je lui faisait mal parce que je voulais qu'ils sachent que je pouvais aller la pleine 12 tours et je ne vont pas cesser jusqu'à ce que les anneaux de cloche finale.”
CARLOS VELASQUEZ
“Le coup de tête, Je pense que mon nez cassé début de la lutte, et il effectue ma respiration au long du combat.
“Je ne prends rien loin de Fortuna, il est un grand combattant. Je suis parti tout dans le ring et je ne démissionne. Je voulais donner à mon tout et que ce que je faisais.”
Domonique DOLTON
“Je savais qu'il était une décision serrée. Il aurait été bien de toute façon. Fermer lutte. Il a atterri quelques coups de feu, Je atterri quelques coups. Je ne l'aurais pas été fou de toute façon.
“Le plan de match était de lui faire manquer avec la main gauche, puis le chercher avec le droit en pronation. Je suis arrivé là-bas et a commencé à lui accablante. Je décidai de lui juste bête. Je pensais que je finirais plus forte à la fin de la lutte.
“Il a vraiment un bon timing. Nous sommes tous les deux techniciens. Je voulais lui faire manquer, il voulait me faire manquer. Il a atterri quelques coups en puissance plus, mais je lui ai fait travailler pour lui à la fin.”
OSCAR MOLINA
“Je l'ai laissé trop près, donc je ne peux pas me plaindre de la décision. Je vais rentrer à la maison et regarder le combat, mais en ce moment je ne peux pas me plaindre. Les juges ont vu ce qu'ils ont vu.
“Le plan de match était de rester détendu, mais je suis tombé sur le plan de match. Je lui ai fait mal dans le troisième tour et ça m'a foiré. Je commencé à chercher ce que d'un seul coup d'y mettre fin. Je dois travailler pour rester stable et détendue.
“Dolton avait vrai bon travail à pied, il m'a pris dans longe. Je le connais depuis l'époque amateur donc je sais comment il est bon.
“Je suis motivé pour revenir dans la salle de gym et de commencer à aller 20, 30 tours sans se fatiguer. Je me suis gazé à la fin, mais il est une expérience d'apprentissage.”

“Camp a été énorme. Je l'ai poussé mon corps à un nouveau niveau. Je suis en très bon état. Nous attendons juste pour la 29e.
“Je cherche toujours à ajouter à mon jeu au camp d'entraînement. Je suis en train de perfectionner mon métier. La défense est une chose que vous ne pouvez jamais avoir trop de.
“Je tiens à rendre quelqu'un Miss et leur faire payer. Je suis concentré sur mon équilibre et être agressif.
“Je l'ai toujours été un combattant intelligente. Je vais essayer de rester deux ou trois longueurs d'avance sur mon adversaire. Je veux qu'ils me ajustent. Je peux laisser mon habileté dicter l'action.
“Je visualiser un A + performances mardi nuit. Je suis encore à apprendre et me trouver chaque jour. Je ne peux pas attendre pour mettre le tout dans le ring.”
Mickey Bey
“Je ai eu un grand camp rempli de dur labeur. Je travaille dur pour Mayweather Sr Floyd. à me préparer pour ce combat.
“Je ai eu pour obtenir lentement revenir après ma chirurgie de la main, mais je me sens bien maintenant et prêt à aller.
“Je prévois un coup de balai mardi soir. Je peux adapter à quoi que ce soit à la volée dans le ring. Je suis une puce, tout autour de combattant.
“Obtenez votre pop-corn au début parce que vous allez voir tout dans le ring, vous ne savez jamais ce que vous verrez.
