Televised coverage on Televisa begins at 10:30 p.m. CT and will give fans a chance to see two of the next great fighters in the long line of Mexican boxing champions as רודריגז battles Colombia’s Jose David Mosquera in a six-round middleweight boutand Delgado takes on Venezuela’s Gustavo Vera in six-rounds of super lightweight action.

At last year’s Rio games, the 23-year-old Rodriguezovercame incredible odds to win the first Olympic boxing medal for Mexico since Christian Bejerano in 2000. The Chihuahua native and his teammates had to resort to begging on public buses and streets in Mexico to raise money to compete in international boxing tournaments. He completed his road to the medal stand by defeating Egypt’s Hosam Bakr Abdin to clinch a medal in the middleweight division. Rodriguez made his pro debut in April with a dominant decision victory over Brian True in Los Angles.
A teammate of Rodriguez on the 2016 נבחרת אולימפית מקסיקנית, Delgadomade his pro debut in style in April with a third round stoppage of Luis Angel Silva. NEW YORK – May 25, 2017 – Combate Americas will make its highly-anticipated return to Mexico City, מקסיקו, with a stacked lineup of professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action at the storied Salas de Armas on יום שישי, יוני 30, live on Azteca America at 10 p.m. ו.

Rodrigo Vargas vs. Danny Ramirez

WBC SANCTIONS SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT ELIMINATOR BETWEEN UNDEFEATED DAVID BENAVIDEZ AND ROGELIO MEDINA FOR #2 MANDATORY TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Now that sanction has officially been granted, the next fight for red-hot undefeated super middleweight David “הדגל האדום” Benavidez will be an eliminator for the #2 mandatory challenger spot in the WBC’s world rankings against highly regarded contender Rogelio “Porky” מדינה, סונורתי, מקסיקו.

WBC #1-rated Callum Smith and WBC #2-rated Anthony Dirrell will fight for the vacant 168 WBC Championship (tentatively scheduled for May), the winner of that fight must then face undefeated WBC #3 יָרִיב, אבני ילדרים, from Turkey. The champion at the end of those two fights will be mandated to face the winner of the Benavidez vs. Medina eliminator.

For Benavidez (17-0, 16 קוס), who served as chief sparring partner for middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin’s recent preparations to face Danny Jacobs, news of the fight with Medina is a welcome development.

“This is the biggest opportunity of my life and I’m not going to let it go to waste,” סעיד בנבידז. “I’m going to destroy this guy like I do everybody else. I have never trained this hard for a fight and I feel that, come fight time, I’ll be extremely strong and do it up.”

Promoter Lewkowicz says any remaining questions about young Benavidez will be answered in this fight.

Reynoso to Face Valenzuela for WBC Silver Latino Super Bantamweight Championship on April 1 in Guadalajara, מקסיקו

Promoters Team Up to Present World-Class Night of Boxing in Guadalajara, מקסיקו, בפברואר 11

ב יום שבת, פבואר 11, at Jalisco Guadalajara Arena in Guadalajara, מקסיקו, a trio of well-established promoters, Eddie Reynoso of Clase y Talento Boxeo, Eric Gomez of Golden Boy Promotions and Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing, will team up to present a night of world-class boxing featuring some of Latin America’s future champions.
The event will be presented in association with and broadcast by RingTV.com and TyC Sports of Argentina for the 25th anniversary of their popular Boxeo De Primera to most of North and South America.
In the explosive 10-round main event, בואנוס איירס, Argentina’s undefeated Juan Jose “El Pitbull” Velasco (14-0, 8 קוס) will defend his WBA Fedebol Welterweight Championship against once-beaten Fernando “El Cacho” Marin (13-1-3, 9 קוס) של מונטריי, מקסיקו.
In the eight-round super featherweight co-main event, Córdoba, Argentina’s Jose Matias Romero (12-0, 5 קוס) will take on Guadalajara’s Bernardo “Benny” Gomez Uribe (18-6, 11 קוס).
On the exciting undercard will be a six-round lightweight scrap between Los Mochis, México’s Jairo “ג'ימי” Llanes (9-1-1, 8 קוס) facing Emmanuel “הלוחם” Valenzuela (4-5, 2 קוס) of Ciudad Obregón, מקסיקו; and eight-round heavyweight battle featuring Guadalajara’s undefeated Filiberto “Chiquilín” Tovar (5-0, 2 קוס) taking on Lawrence Elizondo (8-1, 3 קוס) של מונטריי, מקסיקו; an “all Guadalajara” six-round super featherweight bout between Heliodoro Napoles (2-2, 1 קוס) and Carlos Mauricio Rochas (1-2).

Del Valle arrives in Dallas; Ready to Shine Saturday Night
