At last year’s Rio games, the 23-year-old Rodriguezovercame incredible odds to win the first Olympic boxing medal for Mexico since Christian Bejerano in 2000. The Chihuahua native and his teammates had to resort to begging on public buses and streets in Mexico to raise money to compete in international boxing tournaments. He completed his road to the medal stand by defeating Egypt’s Hosam Bakr Abdin to clinch a medal in the middleweight division. Rodriguez made his pro debut in April with a dominant decision victory over Brian True in Los Angles.

WBC SANCTIONS SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT ELIMINATOR BETWEEN UNDEFEATED DAVID BENAVIDEZ AND ROGELIO MEDINA FOR #2 MANDATORY TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Now that sanction has officially been granted, the next fight for red-hot undefeated super middleweight David “پرچم سرخ” Benavidez will be an eliminator for the #2 mandatory challenger spot in the WBC’s world rankings against highly regarded contender Rogelio “گوشت خوک” مدینه, از سونورا, مکزیک.

The event will be presented in association with and broadcast by RingTV.com and TyC Sports of Argentina for the 25th anniversary of their popular Boxeo De Primera to most of North and South America.
In the explosive 10-round main event, بوینس آیرس, Argentina’s undefeated Juan Jose “El Pitbull” Velasco (14-0, 8 کوس) will defend his WBA Fedebol Welterweight Championship against once-beaten Fernando “El Cacho” Marin (13-1-3, 9 کوس) از مونتری, مکزیک.
In the eight-round super featherweight co-main event, Córdoba, Argentina’s Jose Matias Romero (12-0, 5 کوس) will take on Guadalajara’s Bernardo “Benny” Gomez Uribe (18-6, 11 کوس).
On the exciting undercard will be a six-round lightweight scrap between Los Mochis, México’s Jairo “دیلم” Llanes (9-1-1, 8 کوس) facing Emmanuel “جنگجو” والنزولا (4-5, 2 کوس) of Ciudad Obregón, مکزیک; and eight-round heavyweight battle featuring Guadalajara’s undefeated Filiberto “Chiquilín” کالا ها (5-0, 2 کوس) taking on Lawrence Elizondo (8-1, 3 کوس) از مونتری, مکزیک; an “all Guadalajara” six-round super featherweight bout between Heliodoro Napoles (2-2, 1 کوس) and Carlos Mauricio Rochas (1-2).

Del Valle arrives in Dallas; Ready to Shine Saturday Night

دالاس, TX (سپتامبر 12, 2016) – IBF #8 super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle and his team arrived in Dallas this afternoon after leaving Puerto Rico earlier today.
دره, who hails from Bayamon, meets unbeaten Diego De La Hoya, 15-0 (9 در KO), روز شنبه evening over ten rounds in what is expected to be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico slugfest.
