Filadelfia, PA (Wrzesień 17, 2018) – Top Heavyweight prospect Darmani Rock will take part in the eight-round main event on Saturday, October 6th at The 2300 Arena w Filadelfii.

 

 

 

Również, appearing in the co-feature bout will be rising lightweight prospect Jeremy Cuevas.

 

 

 

The show is promoted by Hard Hitting Promotions in association with Roc Nation Sports.

 

 

 

Rock of Philadelphia, who was the number-one amateur heavyweight in the United States and former Youth Amateur champion, ma zapis 12-0 with seven knockouts.

 

 

 

The 22 year-old Rock is a two-year professional who has a 1st round stoppage over Carlos Cotto (8-1-1) on his resume. Rock is coming off a six-round unanimous decision win over Marquis Valentine on July 20th in Sloan, Iowa.

 

 

 

This will be Rock’s 3rd appearance in Philadelphia.

 

Cuevas (10-0, 8 KO) of Philadelphia will fight in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

 

 

The 22 year-old Cuevas is a two -year professional, who has been recognized as one of the top lightweight prospects in the country. He has stopped his last two opponents, which includes his last bout when he stopped Deo Kizito at The 2300 Arena. This will be Cuevas’s 3rd consecutive and 4th overall fight at The 2300 Arena.

 

 

 

Surging 18 year-old prospect Brandon Pizarro will see action in a six-round bout.

 

 

The former Junior Olympic champion has a record of 11-1 pięć nokautów.

 

 

 

The Philadelphia native is a two-year professional, and has a win over previously undefeated Abdiel Padilla.

Also in a four-round bout will be undefeated super featherweight Christian Tapia (5-0, 4 KO) z Coamo, Portoryko.

 

 

 

Undefeated welterweight Marcel Rivers (6-0, 4 KO) of Philadelphia will take part in a four-round bout.

 

 

 

Making his pro debut will be 21 lat Benny Sinakin Filadelfii.

SAN ANTONIO, Teksas (Wrzesień 13, 2018) – Undefeated NABF Lightweight champion, Selina “Aztec Królowa” Dzielnice (4-0, 2 KO) is getting ready for her Corpus Christi Showdown on September 22, 2018, against Patricia Juarez (4-0), sister of WBC Bantamweight champion, Mariana “Barbie” Juarez (50-9-4, 13 KO).

On the line will be Selina’s NABF Lightweight title. The 10-round bout will take place at Whataburger Field, home to the Corpus Christi Hooks, the double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.

“Training camp has been very challenging but its going to be worth every minute. I feel very motivated for this camp. “The NABF lightweight title means the world to me at this point in my career, and defending it is very important. I live for people to call me ‘champ’ and to not have a belt, would mean I didn’t work hard enough to keep it. I can’t let that happen, so I am working tremendously hard to keep this belt, because not just do I want to defend it, but I also want to fight for a world title as well, which means I cannot lose the NABF strap.

Urodził się i wychował w São Paulo, Brazil but now fighting out of Plant City, Floryda, Silva has an outstanding 25-2 professional record with 14 nokautów. Lipca 14, Silva showed incredible heart and determination but lost via sixth round stoppage against elite rising star Teofimo Lopez. Prior to his gutsy effort vs Lopez, Silva shutout veteran Rogelio Casarez over ten rounds to capture the IBO Continental 135 pound championship.

 

 

 

Living and fighting out of Panama, Forero is a former WBC Latino and Global Boxing Council champion, capturing both belts by stoppage. Forero, 13-7-1 (11 KO’S), is confident Silva will be his next victim and doesn’t plan on leaving it up to the judges.

Junior middleweight knockout artist Ozodbek “Bomber” Aripov of Fort Myers puts his 3-0 record on the line against Miami’s Clifford Gray Jr., heavyweight Jose “The Dream” Medina of Tampa faces Miami native Hector Hodge and Tampa junior lightweight Armando Moran squares off with Miami’s Benny Rodriguez Jr.

 

 

 

All bouts are scheduled for six rounds except Moran-Rodriguez, which is a four round contest.

 

 

 

Argentinian imports Marcos Escudero, 4-0 (3 KO) and Alberto Palmetta, 8-1 (4 KO), will also appear against opponents to be named.

Tampa, Floryda – (Sierpień 20, 2018) –In a surprising about-face, Middleweight Connor Coyle has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title and William Silva has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Lightweight World Title.

 

 

 

“We were notified by Coyle’s and Silva’s promoter Fire Fist Boxing Promotions that they have chosen to go a different direction. The Promoter notified the NBA via email in early July. Fire Fist was made aware of champion obligations regarding defense of the belt, resulting in Fire Fist Promotions deciding to voluntarily vacate the titles,” said Damon Gonzales, President of the NBA.

 

 

 

Connor Coyle (8-0, 3 KO) from Derry, Ireland won the NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title against Danny Pastrana on June 16, 2018.

 

 

 

William Silva (25-2, 15 KO) from Plant City, Florida won the NBA Lightweight World Title on March 3, 2018 against Rogelio Casarez.

Teofimo Lopez shines with 6th round stoppage over William Silva in ESPN co-feature

NEW YORK (Lipca 16, 2018)–Teofimo Lopez shined in a major step up bout as he dominated William Silva by scoring a 6th round stoppage in their lightweight bout that was the co-feature on ESPN.

The bout took place on Saturday night at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

In round one, Lopez dumped Silva with a left hook. Silva was bleeding from the nose, W piątej rundzie, Lopez landed several hard hooks to the bloodied Silva, and then dumped Silva to the canvas in the corner.

Lopez came out in round six by landing three left hooks and a right that dropped Silva and the bout was called at 15 sekund.

Silva who came in with a record of 25-1, and is only loss was to Felix Verdejo on HBO, had never been knocked down before the fighter known as “Gordo” dropped him three times.

Lopez is now 10-0 z 8 nokautów. Silva is 25-2.

“I know everything is set up by the jab,” Said Lopez. “The jab is the most important punch. I was playing with his mind. I was setting him up by letting him get comfortable and then to land the big shot. I hurt my hands, early in the fight but you prepare yourself for the worst possible. JOSH HARVEY TO MAKE LONG-AWAITED RETURN TO MMA CAGE AT NEF 35 IN BANGOR

Bangor, Maine (Lipiec 16, 2018) - New England Walki (NEF) odbędzie się kolejne wydarzenie MMA, “NEF 35: Wicked Season,” na Wrzesień 8 w Cross Insurance Center w Bangor. Wcześniej dzisiaj, the fight promotion announced the addition of a professional lightweight bout to the fight card. Josh “Hook On” Harvey (4-0) will return to the cage to take on Jay Ellis (15-79) przy masie 155-walka funtów.

The fight with Ellis will take place just over 16 months since the last time Harvey did battle in the NEF cage. The former amateur lightweight champion is undefeated thus far in his professional career. Harvey has entered the cage four times in the pro ranks and has finished all four opponents in the first round with two knockouts and two submissions to his credit. He is a member of Young’s MMA based in Bangor, i “NEF 35” will be Harvey’s first opportunity to fight in front of his hometown fans, family and friends since “NEF Presents Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight” which took place at the Cross Insurance Center in August 2016.

“I’m excited to display the improvements I made since my last fight,” Harvey said. “Thankful for any opponent willing to hook on, will be one for the highlight reel for sure!"

Przeciwnik Harvey, Jay Ellis, is a longtime veteran of the sport based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he trains with Team Knockout. Ellis regularly travels to New England to compete and has gained a cult following throughout the region.
