Os loitadores competidores representaron a nove países diferentes: Rusia, Brasil, España, Francia, Canadá, China, Finlandia, Acerbaixán e Irlanda do Norte.

Torres venceu a Shamilov no inicio da rolda inicial, controlou o partido, nunca cedendo por unha vitoria duramente gañada.

 

 

 

Pasado retador do título M-1 Challenge Máximo Grabovich (9-4-0), de Rusia, superou un momento rochoso na segunda volta ante o seu rival brasileiro, Tiago Varejao Lacerda (27-6-1), controlar a maior parte da acción para tomar unha decisión dividida.

 

 

 

Lixeiro francés Mickael “Ragnar” Lebout (18-9-2) e sempre duro ruso Alexey “Tarefa” Makhno bateu con uñas e dentes nunha guerra sanguenta (ver as imaxes a continuación). Lebout golpeou a Makhno na cara con todo menos o proverbial fregadero da cociña, pero o ruso rexeitou baixar e mesmo fixo uns tiros sólidos sobre Lebout, quen tamén ten ben “bigotes”. Lebout gañou unha entretida loita por decisión unánime de tres asaltos.

 

 

 

No abridor de tarxetas principal, perigoso dianteiro Pavel Gordeev (12-1-0) especialista en grappling afilado Alik Albogachiev (5-1-0) por decisión dividida nun enfrontamento entre pesos lixeiros rusos. Filadelfia, PA (Setembro 17, 2018) – Top Heavyweight prospect Darmani Rock will take part in the eight-round main event on Saturday, October 6th at The 2300 Área en Filadelfia.

The show is promoted by Hard Hitting Promotions in association with Roc Nation Sports.

 

 

 

Rock of Philadelphia, who was the number-one amateur heavyweight in the United States and former Youth Amateur champion, ten un rexistro de 12-0 con sete nocauts.

Cuevas (10-0, 8 Kos) of Philadelphia will fight in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

 

 

O 22 year-old Cuevas is a two -year professional, who has been recognized as one of the top lightweight prospects in the country. He has stopped his last two opponents, which includes his last bout when he stopped Deo Kizito at The 2300 Área. This will be Cuevas’s 3rd consecutive and 4th overall fight at The 2300 Área.

 

 

 

Surging 18 year-old prospect Brandon Pizarro will see action in a six-round bout.

 

 

The former Junior Olympic champion has a record of 11-1 con cinco knockouts.

 

 

 

The Philadelphia native is a two-year professional, and has a win over previously undefeated Abdiel Padilla.

 

 

 

Pizarro, who has won three consecutive bouts, is coming off a 2nd round stoppage over veteran Hector Marengo on August 11th at The 2300 Área. This will be Pizarro’s 3rd consecutive appearance at The 2300 Área.

 

 

 

Seeing action on the undercard in a six-round bout will undefeated super featherweight Gadwin Rosa (7-0, 6 Kos) of Ocala, Florida.

 

 

 

Also in a four-round bout will be undefeated super featherweight Christian Tapia (5-0, 4 Kos) of Coamo, Puerto Rico.

 

 

 

Undefeated welterweight Marcel Rivers (6-0, 4 Kos) of Philadelphia will take part in a four-round bout.

 

 

 

Making his pro debut will be 21 anos Benny Sinakin de Philadelphia.

On the line will be Selina’s NABF Lightweight title. The 10-round bout will take place at Whataburger Field, home to the Corpus Christi Hooks, the double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.

“The NABF lightweight title means the world to me at this point in my career, and defending it is very important. I live for people to call me ‘champ’ and to not have a belt, would mean I didn’t work hard enough to keep it. Prior to his gutsy effort vs Lopez, Silva shutout veteran Rogelio Casarez over ten rounds to capture the IBO Continental 135 pound championship.

 

 

 

Living and fighting out of Panama, Forero is a former WBC Latino and Global Boxing Council champion, capturing both belts by stoppage. Forero, 13-7-1 (11 KO’S), is confident Silva will be his next victim and doesn’t plan on leaving it up to the judges.

Junior middleweight knockout artist Ozodbek “Bomber” Aripov of Fort Myers puts his 3-0 record on the line against Miami’s Clifford Gray Jr., heavyweight Jose “The Dream” Medina of Tampa faces Miami native Hector Hodge and Tampa junior lightweight Armando Moran squares off with Miami’s Benny Rodriguez Jr.

 

 

 

All bouts are scheduled for six rounds except Moran-Rodriguez, which is a four round contest.

 

 

 

Argentinian imports Marcos Escudero, 4-0 (3 KO) and Alberto Palmetta, 8-1 (4 KO), will also appear against opponents to be named.

Tapa, Florida – (Agosto 20, 2018) –In a surprising about-face, Middleweight Connor Coyle has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title and William Silva has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Lightweight World Title.

 

 

 

“We were notified by Coyle’s and Silva’s promoter Fire Fist Boxing Promotions that they have chosen to go a different direction. The Promoter notified the NBA via email in early July. Fire Fist was made aware of champion obligations regarding defense of the belt, resulting in Fire Fist Promotions deciding to voluntarily vacate the titles,” said Damon Gonzales, President of the NBA.

 

 

 

Connor Coyle (8-0, 3 KO) from Derry, Ireland won the NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title against Danny Pastrana on June 16, 2018.

 

 

 

William Silva (25-2, 15 KO) from Plant City, Florida won the NBA Lightweight World Title on March 3, 2018 against Rogelio Casarez.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Agosto 18, 2018) – Undefeated NABF Lightweight champion, Selina “Aztec Raíña” Barrios (4-0, 2 Kos), has an opponent for her Corpus Christi Showdown on September 22, 2018. Barrios will face Patricia Juarez (4-0), sister of WBC Bantamweight champion, Mariana “Barbie” Juárez (50-9-4, 13 Kos).

 

 

 

On the line will be Selina’s NABF Lightweight title. The 10-round bout will take place at Whataburger Field, home to the Corpus Christi Hooks, the double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.

 

 

 

“Patricia Juarez asked to fight me, and I feel that part of being a champion is accepting fights with worthy opponents,” said Selina Barrios, who hails from San Antonio, TX. “She is an undefeated fighter with the same record as me, and her sister is a future Hall of Famer. I look forward to making a title defense against a worthy challenger like Patricia Juarez.”

In her last bout, Barrios, who is a devastating power-puncher, scored a sensational knockout against previously unbeaten, Aida “Lady Sparta” Satybaldinova (3-1-1). The knockout has already been featured on many boxing publications list for knockout of the year, as Barrios showed off uncanny punching power for the women’s lightweight division.

Teofimo Lopez shines with 6th round stoppage over William Silva in ESPN co-feature

Nova York (Xullo 16, 2018)–Teofimo Lopez shined in a major step up bout as he dominated William Silva by scoring a 6th round stoppage in their lightweight bout that was the co-feature on ESPN.

The bout took place on Saturday night at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

In round one, Lopez dumped Silva with a left hook. Silva was bleeding from the nose, Na quinta rolda, Lopez landed several hard hooks to the bloodied Silva, and then dumped Silva to the canvas in the corner.

Lopez came out in round six by landing three left hooks and a right that dropped Silva and the bout was called at 15 segundos.

Silva who came in with a record of 25-1, and is only loss was to Felix Verdejo on HBO, had never been knocked down before the fighter known as “Gordo” dropped him three times.

Lopez is now 10-0 con 8 nocautes. Silva is 25-2.

“I know everything is set up by the jab,” dixo López. “The jab is the most important punch. I was playing with his mind. I was setting him up by letting him get comfortable and then to land the big shot. I hurt my hands, early in the fight but you prepare yourself for the worst possible. I just put everyone on notice that I’m coming for those world title at 135lbs!”

JOSH HARVEY TO MAKE LONG-AWAITED RETURN TO MMA CAGE AT NEF 35 IN BANGOR

The former amateur lightweight champion is undefeated thus far in his professional career. He is a member of Young’s MMA based in Bangor, e “NEF 35” will be Harvey’s first opportunity to fight in front of his hometown fans, family and friends since “NEF Presents Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight” which took place at the Cross Insurance Center in August 2016.

“I’m excited to display the improvements I made since my last fight,” Harvey said. “Thankful for any opponent willing to hook on, will be one for the highlight reel for sure!"

O adversario de Harvey, Jay Ellis, is a longtime veteran of the sport based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he trains with Team Knockout. Ellis regularly travels to New England to compete and has gained a cult following throughout the region. Last summer, he shocked Bangor fight fans by taking the fight to Ryan Sanders (16-9) and nearly upsetting the hometown favorite with a submission attempt before Sanders was able to score a come-from-behind victory.

“I’m so happy to be coming back to Maine to put on another great performance,” stated Ellis when reached for comment. “This time my hand will be raised high as the victorious one.”
