Claggett (23-3-1, 16 Kos), 26, is the reigning Canadian Professional Boxing Council and Canadian welterweight champion. As an amateur in Calgary, he captured four Alberta Championships and three Golden Gloves titles, all prior to his 18th aniversario.
South African-native Van Heerden (23-1-1, 12 Kos), fighting out of Santa Monica (TAL), is a former International Boxing Organization (IBO) e Federación Internacional de Boxeo (IBF) campión dos medios. (Van Heerden is pictured to the left.)
The 8-round co-feature matches undefeated Lancaster, California Neeco “Rooster” Macias (11-0, 4 Kos) contra Limberth Ponce, JR. (10-2, 8 Kos), of Rock Island, Illinois. The remainder of the undercard features promising Las Vegas-based prospects in four-round bouts: welterweight Jeremy “J Flash” Nichols (2-0, 2 Kos), Pluma Junior Sal Perez (2-0) e galo Sergio López (2-3, 1 KO). LAS VEGAS – “Knockout Night at the D,” the boxing fight card to feature headliners Zab Judah vs. Josh Torres at the Downtown Veigas Events Center (DLVEC), has been cancelled for Sábado, Marzo 12.

After our discussions, it became apparent the fight card could not move forward. Although I’m disappointed with the situation, I appreciate the phone calls and look forward to working with the Nevada Athletic Commission on future boxing events at the DLVEC.”

LAS VEGAS (Marzo 9, 2016) – Top performing varsity high school players will showcase their talent in the 1st Annual Las Vegas Basketball Classic en Martes, Marzo 15 en Spring Valley High School en Las Vegas, with the event starting at 5:00 p.m. con portas de apertura en 4:30 p.m.
The evening begins with two all-star games featuring elite players from high schools across the city. The girls’ game will kick off the event with a boys’ game to follow. Professional boxer Ashley Theophane of Mayweather Promotions and UNLV Running Rebels Men’s Basketball Center Stephen Zimmerman will judge the dunk contest, in addition to other special guests.

At the famous Wildcard Gym in Los Angeles, Claggett gained invaluable experience working with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach. He also benefitted from working out at Mayweather Gym in Las Vegas, where he learned from trainer Roger Mayweather, and sparred there with two-division world champion Jesse Vargas. Gutierrez is seeking to expand his marquee on a national level, while Spinks attempts to shine on his own terms despite his spotlight catching last name.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Resurrección Combate Alliance (RFA) president Ed Soares announced today that the RFA will be returning to South Dakota in April and is set to crown its first light-heavyweight champion and a new bantamweight champion. No evento principal, Devin “Brown Bear” Clark will fight for a world title in his hometown against top Brazilian prospect Rafael “Gaucho” Viana. No co-main event, Joey “The Beast” Miolla and Leandro “Pitbull” Higo will battle for the vacant bantamweight crown.

Clark (5-0) is the most successful 205-pound fighter in RFA history and is looking to become the promotion’s first light-heavyweight champion in front of his hometown crowd. Clark is an NJCAA wrestling champion and a Golden Gloves boxing champion that has quickly seen his name rise to the top of several MMA light-heavyweight prospect rankings. The Lincoln High School graduate has earned over half of his career wins inside the RFA Octagon and will be looking for the biggest win of his career in the main event of RFA 37.
“It’s an honor to fight for the inaugural RFA light-heavyweight title in front of my hometown crowd in Sioux Falls,” stated Clark. “Becoming the first RFA light-heavyweight champion will mean even more to me since I get to do it against such a talented and tough opponent.”
Viana (6-0) is the older brother of Bellator star Guilherme Viana and he also trains alongside UFC star Glover Teixeira. He is a BJJ black belt and the reigning Shooto Brasil light-heavyweight champion. Viana, like Clark, has proven to be clinical with his finishing ability and is eager to fight outside of his native Brazil for the first time. His international debut will also be his first fight televised worldwide and Viana is looking to take full advantage of it.
“I am very honored to be given this opportunity,” stated Viana. “This will be my first international fight and it is a great honor to fight for the inaugural RFA light-heavyweight title. I will put on a great show for the fans at RFA 37.”

Joey Miolla (8-1) and Leandro Higo (15-2) represented their home countries on the historic “EUA vs. BRAZIL” event that took place last August at RFA 29. Both men were victorious that night and showed why they are two of the most highly-regarded 135-pound prospects in the sport. Larson will be making his fourth appearance for the RFA in his hometown of Sioux Falls against Colorado native Brian Camozzi (5-2). Larson, who has been the recipient of three of the loudest ovations in RFA history, will once again make the walk to the RFA Octagon in front of his adoring hometown fans. He will face Camozzi, who is the younger brother of UFC star Chris Camozzi. The younger Camozzi brother made a huge statement in his RFA debut in January. He showcased his dynamic skill set by becoming the first person to finish Tyler Milner and he did it in less than one round.

LAS VEGAS (Marzo 1, 2016) – Future Hall of Fame candidate Zab “Super” Xudá is fighting for his legacy. His road back to the top starts Sábado noite,Marzo 12, against upset-minded Josh “Pitbull” Torres, in the 10-round main event kicking off the new monthly pro boxing series, “Knockout Night at the D”, aireador vivo (8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. E) en CBS Sports Network live from the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC).

The southpaw has defeated seven world champions during his outstanding career: Junior Witter, Terron Millet, DeMarcus Corley, Raphael Pineda, Corey Spinks, Joshua Clottey e(interim champ) Lucas Matthysse. The Brooklyn native has an outstanding 11-8 (9 Kos) record in world title fights.

That’s what drives the 38-year-old originally from Brooklyn. “I’m very happy to be headlining the first show of the ‘Knockout Night at the D’ serie,” Judah said. “I’m always comfortable and happy in the squared ring. I enjoy the sport of boxing and have one more goal…to be six-time world champion of the world!”

The 24-year-old Torres (15-4-2, 7 Kos) may not have the same name recognition as many of Judah’s past opponents, but the determined prospect from Albuquerque, NM has nothing to lose and everything to gain fighting Judah.
“I believe this fight can be life changing, not only for me, but also for upcoming New Mexico fighters,” Torres commented. “Boxing doesn’t get a lot of attention in my state.”
Torres is a protégé of the late 5-time world championJohnny Tapia. His brother-in-law, Chris Chavez, now trains Torres, who has been sparring with fellow New Mexican and former world junior middleweight champion, Austin Trout, to prepare for the left-handed Judah.
Torres is also a professional barber who’d like to clip Judah, por así dicir. “I haven’t had a promoter or manager,” he explained the need for him to be a barber as well as a pro boxer. “I’ve always had to work to pay bills. It’s just had to be that way in my boxing career.”

LAS VEGAS (Febreiro 26, 2016) – the D Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC), along with Neon Star Media and Roy Englebrecht Promotions, have announced an agreement in which Title Boxing will be the official apparel and gloves partner of the “Knockout Night at the D” professional boxing series.
Eight “Knockout Night at the D” events are planned in 2016, comezando Marzo 12, will are live from the DLVEC open air venue located adjacent to the D Las Vegas. The inaugural event, con todo, will take place inside the DLVEC’s 20,000-square-foot tent.

“We’re thrilled that the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is going to showcase outdoor boxing and play a role in bringing it back to Las Vegas,” said Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman. “The series will impact Las Vegas in a new and exciting way by bringing boxing fans from all over the world to the heart of the city in a state-of-the-art venue, presenting a wonderful new way to experience Las Vegas.”
In addition to promoting the “Knockout Night at the D” serie, as well as its Mar. 12th evento, it was announced that the 8-event series will air live on CBS Sports Network and include all-star broadcasting team of Al Bernstein, Jim “JR” Ross e ex-campión do mundo Kevin Kelley.
