“You can’t underestimate anyone in this sport, so we trained very hard leading up to this one. She’s coming in here to knock my head off. This camp was actually a little different because I didn’t have to diet for this fight. I could actually eat at this weight and I’m feeling really strong.
“I’m facing a tough girl who’s only been stopped twice, so my goal is to make this one quick. The faster the fight the easier for me and it gives the fans something to get excited about.”

BROOKLYN (אוקטובר. 14, 2017) – Heavyweight World Champion Deontay Wilder and Welterweight World Champions Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr. met with the media on Saturday at Barclays Center to discuss their upcoming bouts and expected 2018 campaigns.
Wilder will defend his WBC belt on נובמבר. 4 against mandatory challenger Bermane Stiverne live on SHOWTIME from Barclays Center in a Premier Boxing Champions event. Thurman announced he expects to return in early 2018 in his first bout since unifying the division and subsequent surgery.
In news on Saturday, IBF Welterweight Champion Spence announced that he will make the first defense of his belt against former world champion Lamont Peterson in January 2018 on SHOWTIME on a date and site to be determined.

לאס וגאס (מרץ 28, 2017) – 2-Time world champion and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Yuriorkis גמבואה has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth to Meet & Greet his fans at the מרכז הכנסים בלאס וגאס for the 3rd edition of אקספו תיבת המאוורר שיתקיים יום שבת במאי 6, 2017 במהלך סוף השבוע של סינקו דה מאיו. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, שיתרחש מאוחר יותר באותו הערב.
Gamboa will appear for the first time at this years’ אקספו ותחתום כפפות, photos and selling merchandise. Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures with the former world champion and Olympic Gold medalist.
He will be raising money for an amazing woman named Ivonne Lugo, who suffers from PKD, an inherited chronic kidney disease. She is in urgent need of a liver and kidney transplant. Gamboa joins the list of over 50 current and past World Champions boxers who have appeared at the Expo, meeting their fans in person.
