King’s Promotions Press Conference video featuring Garrett Wilson and Anthony Caputo Smith

Philadelphia (June 12, 2015)–Below is the video from Thursday’s King’s Promotions press conference that took place at Chickie’s and Pete’s in South Philadelphia.
The press conference was highlighted by words from Garrett Wilson and Anthony Caputo Smith.  Wilson and Caputo Smith will take part in the featured bout when they vie for the Pennsylvania State Cruiserweight championship on Saturday, June 20 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.  The fight will top an 8 bout card.

Valley Forge, PA (June 1, 2015)On Saturday night, June 20, King’s Boxing will present a championship night of boxing at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
In the main event, Garrett “The Ultimate Warrior” Wilson will take on Anthony Caputo Smith in a 10-round battle for the Pennsylvania Cruiserweight championship.
Wilson of Philadelphia has a record of 13-9-1 with 7 knockouts and has lived up to his nickname as he is willing to fight anybody at anytime.  He has fought seven undefeated fighters and countless contenders.
Wilson, 32 won the USBA Cruiserweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Omar Sheika.  He defended the the twice with thrilling knockout wins over Chuck Mussachio (17-1-2) and Andres Taylor (20-1-2).
Those fights set him for an IBF Elimination bout against Alexander Alekseev (23-2-1).
Wilson fought well but came up just short on the scorecards.  In his next bout, Wilson jumped up to Heavyweight to fight current number-one ranked Vychslav Glazkov.  Wilson took the fight on two days notice and gave a good account of himself before dropping a decision.
Wilson will be looking to break a 4-fight losing streak.
Caputo Smith of Kennett Square, PA has a record of 15-4 with 10 knockouts.
The 30 year-old is like Wilson as he willing to fight anybody.
He won his first thirteen bouts and then captured the Pennsylvania Light Heavyweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Dhafir Smith.  Caputo Smith then stepped up and lost to undefeated Seanie Monaghan (18-0) on the Juan Manuel Marquez – Timothy Bradley Pay Per View undercard in Las Vegas.
Caputo Smith moved up to win the Pennsylvania Cruiserweight title with a 10-round split decision over Tony Ferrante.
Caputo Smith is on a two fight losing streak after dropping fights to  BJ Flores (29-1-1)  and former interim world champion Ola Afolabi (20-3-4).
In the 8-round co-feature, Keenan Collins (15-9-3, 10 KO’s) of York, PA will take onPavel Miranda (19-10-1, 6 KO’s) of Tijuana, Mexico in a Middleweight bout.
In 6-round bouts:
Coy Evans (10-2-1, 2 KO’s) will fight Jose Bustos (7-4-3, 4 KO’s) of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in a Jr. Lightweight bout.

Earl Newman (5-0, 4 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will fight Lamont Capers (5-6) of Hawley, PA in a Cruiserweight bout.

Welterweight Bryant Perella looks to remain perfect this Friday night at the Claridge in Atlantic City

Juan Dominguez headlines against Mario Antonio Macias 
Atlantic City, NJ (May 20,2015)–This Friday night,May 22, boxing returns to the Claridge in Atlantic City with a full 9-bout card promoted by King’s Promotions in association with DeeLee Promotions.
Welterweight Bryant Perella will take part in his first eight-round bout when he takes on tough German Perez.
In the main event, undefeated super bantamweight Juan “Baby Tito” Dominguez will take on Mario Antonio Macias  in a bout scheduled for 8-rounds.
Perella, 26 years-old of Lehigh Acres, Florida has a record of 8-0 with seven knockouts and has stopped five straight.
He already has quality victories over Benito Tovar (3-0-1), which was a first-round stoppage and his last bout when he stopped Justin Johnson in four rounds onFebruary 20.
“Everything is good.  I am going to make weight and take care of business,”said Perella when contacted on Tuesday.
“I know Perez is tough. He is 11-1 and from Mexico.  I have not seen video on him but I am preparing for a rough fight.  I know a lot of guys Tijuana come forward and are aggressive.”
Perella came from a quality amateur career where he went 70-9 and placed in quite a few national tournaments.
“I consider myself a smart boxer with speed and explosive power.”
Perella, who has already scored a stoppage win in Las Vegas, is excited to see action in the traditional east coast hotbed of boxing in Atlantic City.
“My first fight in Atlantic City is a dream come true.  Next to Las Vegas it is the best place to fight and it motivated me throughout camp.”
In Perez, the fight is a step up as the Tijuana native is unbeaten in his last seven bouts and is already competed in an eight-round bout.
“For me to have my first eight round fight is a step up.  This step up will really help me.  I am going to relax and box then I will be able to break him down and get him out of there.”
Perella is dedicating the fight to 18-year old Devin Raynaer who recently passed away in a car accident.
“He was a friend of mine and I am dedicating this bout to him.  I just want to thank my fans for supporting me and I am ready for an exciting fight.”

Atlantic City’s undefeated Super Middleweight Antuwyan Aikens set to return this Friday at the Claridge in Atlantic City Juan Dominguez headlines against Mario Antonio Macias 

Atlantic City, NJ (May 19,2015)–This Friday night,May 22, boxing returns to the Claridge in Atlantic City with a full 10-bout card promoted by King’s Promotions in association with DeeLee Promotions.
In one of the featured undercard bouts, undefeated super middleweight, AntuwyanAikens makes his return after a 13-month layoff when he takes on tough Edgar Perez in a bout scheduled for 6-rounds.
In the main event, undefeated super bantamweight Juan “Baby Tito” Dominguezwill take on  Mario Antonio Macias in a bout scheduled for 8-rounds.
Aikens (9-0, 1 KO) of Atlantic City will be making his 7th appearance in his hometown and is ready to get his career on track after going through “The Business Side of Boxing.”
“I had a good camp.  We weren’t getting the right deals so we took the time off.  We re-evaluated our career and wanted to see what direction we wanted to go in. We hope that this fight with King’s Promotions will bring us better fights, “said the 26 year-old Aikens.
In Perez, he is fighting a guy who not only has been with top competition as he has fought 10 undefeated fighters but also holds a win over previously undefeated Atlantic City based Light Heavyweight Lavarn Harvell.
“I know that Perez is a brawler.  I know he beat Harvell.  So for that I know it is a challenge and I look forward to that but I plan on giving him a boxing lesson.”
Harvell, has been busy working at the Tri-Care Medical transport Company but knows that he needs to look good in front of his hometown fans.
“It means a lot to mean to fight here at home.  I am glad to be back and make the most of it.  I am looking forward to a good fight and please the fans.”

Juan Dominguez headlines against new opponent Mario Antonio Macias

In the main event, undefeated super bantamweight Juan “Baby Tito” Dominguez will take on Mario Antonio Macias  in a bout scheduled for 8-rounds.

Dominguez of Brooklyn, New York has a perfect mark of 18-0 with 12 knockouts,

The 29 year-old has risen up the ranks with quality wins such his third-round stoppage over previously undefeated Gabriel Gomez (4-0).  He also won the New York State Bantamweight title with a win over Arturo Santiago.

On February 16, 2013, Dominguez won the WBA Fedecaribe Super Bantamweight title with a 2nd round stoppage over Geyci Lorenzo.  Dominguez also has a win over Camilo Perez (9-1)

Dominguez is coming off a fifth-round stoppage over Carlos Rodriguez on February 21 in Allentown, PA.

Macias of Iztacalco, Mexico is a veteran who sports a record of 26-15 with 13 knockouts.
Macias has plenty of quality wins on his ledger over the likes of Giovani Caro (1-0), Crystopher Carlos Martinez (1-0-1), Armando Guzman (8-0), Sebastien Gauthier (17-1).
He won the NABF Bantamweight title with a 3rd round stoppage over Arturo Camargo.

Paul Koon to battle Rex Harris in a battle of undefeated Heavyweights tonight!! at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA

Frank De Alba takes on Jose Bustos for UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title plus undefeated Juan Dominguez, John Magda, Ivan Golub, Christian and Molina 
Allentown, PA (February 21, 2015)–Over the past several years, heavyweight Paul Koon (2-0, 1 KO) has been rumored to turn professional on various cards in the Philadelphia area.
Each time he decided to sat participating in the World Series of Boxing.
Finally last October 4, Koon turned professional with a one stoppage over Hector Hodge and on November 20, Koon followed that up with a 4-round unanimous decision over Yohan Banks.
Those fights were in Connecticut and California respectively and tonight at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, he takes on Rex Harris(1-0-2) of Wilkes-Barre, PA in Koon’s first area appearance.
That 4-round bout will be part of a nine bout card promoted by King’s Promotions.
In the main event, Frank De Alba (14-1-2, 5 KO’s) of Reading, PA will take on Jose Bustos (7-2-3, 4 KO’s) of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in a 8-round fight for the UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title.
Koon of Philadelphia has been working hard and is looking to put on a good performance.
“Everything is great.  I been working in the gym, sparring and running,”said the 28 year-old.
“All I know about my opponent is that he has fought some MMA fights and he is undefeated (1-0-2) as a boxer.”
Koon is looking for a test as during his 4 year run in the World Series of Boxing, he took on the top fighters from around the world.
“I am used to fighting top level competition.  I am not used to fighting the level of guys I have been fighting in my first couple of fights.  In the World Series of Boxing, you fight only the elite fighters.  There are no journeymen.”
To get to the type of competition that, Koon knows he has to continue to win and make sound decisions with his team.
“It is not one member of my team that decides the pace that I move at.  Whatever they think is best.  Sometimes you have to take it slow.  Me, I like to rush but I know I am learning everything in the business.  This is my first fight in the area in seven years and I am using it as a steppingstone to a fight in Philadelphia.”
In the co-feature, Juan Dominguez (17-0, 11 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will fight Carlos Rodriguez (19-16-4, 11 KO’s) of Los Mochis, MX in a Super Bantamweight bout.

Frank De Alba to take on Jose Bustos for UBF All Americas Jr. Lightweight title this Saturday night at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA

Plus undefeated Juan Dominguez fights Jose Cen Torres for UBF Super Bantamweight All Americas title as well as undefeated John Magda, Ivan Golub, Christian Molina and Paul Koon
Allentown, PA (February 19, 2015)–He is one of the hottest fighters on the east coast.  He has become a prospect on everyone’s radar and this Saturday night, Jr. Lightweight Frank De Alba will look for his 13th consecutive victory when he takes on Jose Bustos for the UBF Jr. Lightweight All Americas title in the main event at the Econo Lodge.
The show is promoted by King’s Promotions.
De Alba of Reading, PA has a record of 14-1-2 in and in addition to 12th straight wins, he is unbeaten in his last 14 bouts.
De Alba, who won a 8-round unanimous decision over Jesse Carridine last October 4, went right back in the gym shortly after that bout.
“Training camp has been great.  I have been in camp for two months.  I feel great and excited.  I am ready and in shape and am 100% ready for Saturday,” said De Alba.
On Bustos, De Alba doesn’t seem to know much on the man who will trying to break that winning streak.
“I know nothing about him other than he is from Mexico.  Mexican fighters always come to fight, so I know it will be an exciting fight.”
2015 plans to be a moving year for De Alba for prospect to contender and he knows that this fight could be a dangerous one.
“I know this is a big year.  I have a good streaking going and by the end of the year I should have a good step up fight.  First I am ready for Saturday and I have to start off on a good foot.  I am ready to give my all.”
Bustos of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico has a record of 7-2-3 with 4 knockouts.
The 23 year-old is unbeaten in his last three which includes that last two victories.  He is coming off a 10-round split decision over Hector Mendoza on April 11, 2014 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Molina to take on pro debuting Stacey Anderson this Saturday at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA 
Allentown, PA (February 17, 2015)–Christian Molina did not have much of an amateur background but he has been a quick study and has become one of the top prospects in the Lehigh Valley.
This Saturday he will look to go to 4-0 when he takes on pro debuting Stacey Anderson in a 4-round Jr. Welterweight bout at the Econo Lodge in Allentown, PA and is promoted by King’s Promotions.
In the main event, Frank De Alba will take on an opponent to be named in a 8-round Jr. Lightweight bout.
Molina, 27 years old of Allentown, PA had just five amateur bouts but has raced off to a perfect 3-0 mark with impressive wins over Dominic Goode, Jordan Morales and Josue Rivera and he now looks for a similar performance against Anderson.
“Training has gone great.  Anderson is a new opponent.  All I know is that he has an MMA background,” said Molina.
“I train hard I make the sacrifices to win.  I look to box and I look to fight.  I just do whatever it takes to fight that opponent.”
The southpaw has already built up a nice following and wants to thrill the fans on Saturday night.
“I just want to thank all the fans and especially the Spanish fans that will come out and support me this Saturday.”

Allentown, PA (February 6, 2015)–On Saturday night, February 21, rising Jr. Lightweight Frank De Alba will headline a special night of boxing at the Econo Lodge in Allentown and is promoted by Kings Promotions.
De Alba of Reading, PA has a record of 14-1-2 with 5 knockouts and has won 12 in a row and is undefeated his last 16 outings.
The 27 year-old turned professional in 2011 and has wins over Andrew Bentley (1-0) & Benjamin Burgos (1-0).  He won the UBF All Americas Super Featherweight title with a 5th round stoppage over Pablo Batres and defended it in his last bout with an 8-round unanimous decision over Jess Carridine in October 4 in Valley Forge, PA.

De Alba’s opponent in the scheduled 8 round main event will be announced shortly.
In the 8-round co-feature, undefeated Super Bantamweight Juan Dominguez will take on an opponent to be named.
Dominguez of Brooklyn, NY has a record of 17-0 with 11 knockouts.
The 28 year-old has wins over Gabriel Gomez, Arturo Santiago for the New York State Bantamweight title, Geyci Lorenzo for the WBA Fedecaribe Super Bantamweight title & Camilo Perez (9-1).  In his last bout Dominguez scored an 8-round unanimous decision over German Meraz on December 12 in Chicago.
