The event will be live on ALTURA DE COMEZAR from USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles.

O Showtime Championship Boxing doubleheader begins with super welterweight world champion Jermall Charlo defending his title against top contender Julian "J-Rock" Williams in a matchup of undefeated rising stars in their prime.

PT and are priced at $35, $50, $75, $150 e $200. To purchase tickets go to www.galentix.com.

Aquí está o que os participantes tiñan que dicir Xoves about the highly anticipated night of action:

JESUS Cuéllar

“I’ve been wanting to fight Mares for about two years. It’s finally going to happen. This is what I want. I’m going to make a statement.

“I’m very happy that this fight is finally here. I can’t wait to get in the ring on Decembro 10. I’m thankful for the opportunity. I know Mares is popular in Los Angeles, but I have a following as well and they will be there to support me.

“I’m training very hard and feeling physically strong. We never stopped training for this fight. Mares will come prepared for a war and I hope that’s what the fight is like. It’s going to prove who has the bigger heart.

“I’ve been training with Freddie Roach for about four months. It’s been a great partnership and he will make me even better than I’ve been. We’ve been practicing really hard. Freddie is handing me the tools to go to work. You will see all my experience come together on fight night.

“Mares is a great fighter. He’s been a champion for many years. He’s never faced an opponent like me. This will be his hardest challenge.

“I’m sure Mares will give it his all, just like I will. I’ve been dreaming about this fight for years. This will be a great battle, but I am prepared to take my belt back to Argentina.

“This is the most important fight of my career. I’m planning on knocking him out. I know that big things are going to come my way after I beat Mares.”

Abner Mares

“This is going to be a smarter Abner Mares. I’ve been learning a lot with Robert Garcia. They gave us a year to train and learn together. He’s a knowledgeable coach. He’s not just a guy who works mitts. This is the real deal. He gets you better and I’m really happy with him.

“I want to thank Cuellar and his team for waiting for this fight to come to fruition. I really appreciate that as a person. É finalmente aquí.

“I was actually commentating the Stiverne vs. Arreola fight at Galen Center and it was a great atmosphere. The environment there is incredible and I was just imagining being up in the ring as the main event.

“I want the winner of the Frampton vs. Santa Cruz rematch. I want to continue to fight the best. I want to be known as a guy who fights the best.

“Being on the big stage like this has made me what I am. Being on the bantamweight tournament on SHOWTIME really started to show people what my style is like. To be back for another world opportunity, it means everything to me. I’m hoping to give them another exciting fight.

“I never talk down about a fighter. We all deserve our respect. We all have the same desire to strive to be the best. Cuellar is a beast. He hits hard. The record speaks for itself and that’s what has me so excited. This is the kind of fight I want to be in. El trae o mellor de min.

“If I have to make it into a brawl, I will do that. I have the boxing abilities to be the smarter fighter and win by out boxing him. I learn from all of my fights, especially the losses. From the Santa Cruz fight I learned that I really need to listen to my corner. I let the crowd get to me and fought the wrong fight. I’m going to be ready for everything.

“This title coming home is going to be a nice Christmas present. It means the world to me. I’m going to add something to my trophy case.

“I’m a new man. I’m a grown man. I have two beautiful daughters. I like to learn something new every day. You will see a different Abner on Decembro 10. This is going to end the year with the ‘Fight of the Year.’”

ROBERT GARCIA, Mares’ Trainer

“I’m thankful to Cuellar and his team for giving us this opportunity. He’s a good person who trains very hard and gives 100 percent all the time.

“I’ve been working with Abner almost this whole year. The dates for the fight have changed but now we have had a lot of time to get to know each other. We’ve been working side-by-side and we’ve had a lot of time to learn about each other.

“I think everybody should come out to this fight or watch on SHOWTIME, because it’s going to be one of the best fights of the year. I guarantee it.”

SEBASTIAN CONTURSI, Cuellar’s Manager

“Here we go again. It’s been a long process and there have been a lot of people who have helped get us to this.

“I want to thank Mares and his whole team for taking this fight. Esta vai ser unha guerra. There’s no doubt about it. We love Robert, but we will have our back and forth leading up to this one. These are boxing war times, but he is a great person. But now we are with another one of the best trainers in the world, none other than Freddie Roach.

“Cuellar doesn’t live in Los Angeles. He actually still lives in Argentina. But he has stayed in Los Angeles throughout this whole process. He’s been away from his friends and family for almost nine months, but he has not complained once or asked to go home. That just shows the kind of professional that Jesus Cuellar is.”

Richard Schaefer, Presidente & CEO de Ringstar Sports

“I’m truly excited to be here with all of you. This night will feature two top-notch matchups and four guys who are at the pinnacle of their respective divisions. I’m really excited for this to be my first event back.

“This is a statement fight for Jesus Cuellar. It’s the biggest fight of his career. But he has passed every test so far. He’s a true warrior, as all Argentine fighters are. He’s a big puncher with a sterling record. This is a tough challenge, but he has every intention of keeping that belt.

“Abner Mares is a true warrior and you will all have the opportunity on Decembro 10 to go after a fourth world title against a strong champion in Jesus Cuellar, who has defended his title five times. But that is the kind of person Abner Mares is. He’s going to test himself against the best there is.

“I’m happy to be back and hopefully I’ll be able to add to this great sport of boxing. We’re here in a first class venue today and this is the kind of venue deserving of boxing. Boxing is about entertainment, and if you were to pick four boxers to put on an entertaining card, these would be them.

“These are going to be tremendous fights. Styles makes fights. Mares has been waiting for this opportunity and Cuellar is going to fight to keep his title. This is one of the most talked about fights around. It’s going to be all toe-to-toe action from the start to the finish.

“Two of the best matches in the sport are happening right here in Los Angeles on the same night. This is the best fighting the best and Los Angeles will be buzzing.

“It’s very special to be able to do my first event back in Los Angeles. To have two exciting, toe-to-toe battles on this card is great. Then the cherry on top is the opportunity to work with a man like Abner Mares. I met him at the 2004 Olympics and I was always impressed with his style and his personality and how he carries himself. "

BRITANY GOOSSEN BROWN, TGB Promocións

“We’re thrilled to be here working on another great night of boxing. Xuntos, with the matchmaking expertise of my father, Tom Brown, and Richard’s promotional talent, this has the makings of an excellent collaboration.

“We’re especially looking forward to working with the great staff at the Galen Center. We were here once before, for the heavyweight world title fight between Chris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne. That was a sold out night and I have a feeling this one will be too.

“Los Angeles has the best fight fans in the world and I know that they will be there to support these great fighters.”

CHRIS DEBLASIO, SVP Sports Communications at Showtime Networks

SHOWTIME continues to deliver the strongest lineup of any network in boxing, bar none. We recently announced a slate of upcoming events that is further proof that no one is committing more resources to move the sport forward than Showtime. This card features four fighters ranked in the top-10 of their division taking the right fight at the right time. These men are as respectable and dependable outside of the ring as they are ferocious and talented inside the ring.

“We’re proud to be showcasing these two world title fights on the network. These fights exemplify what SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING is all about.

“Mares and Cuellar might be the most evenly matched of the five featherweight championship fights we have presented on SHOWTIME this year. And we know that Jermall Charlo vs. Julian Williams, the latest in a series of fights at junior middleweight, will determine the future of the deep and talented division.”

We’ll find out, but I know I’m ready to rumble.
I’m excited to get my first title shot, but more than anything I’m just focused on winning,” dixo Williams. “Jermall Charlo is strong and fast, but I will be better than him on Decembro 10. These two world title fights exemplify what SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING has and will continue to delivertrue ‘pick-emfights between top-rated fighters in the prime of their career,,” dito Stephen Espinoza, Vicepresidente Executivo e Director Xeral, Showtime Sports. “Cuellar vs. Mares is arguably the toughest to predict of the five featherweight world championships we’ve presented this year. And in Charlo vs. Williams, our latest in a series of significant bouts at 154-pounds, we have a prime example of how great this sport can be. These are major fights between the top players in two of boxing’s deepest divisions.
Unha estrela fast-levanta-se fóra de Bos Aires, Arxentina, Cuellar isworking toward his 12th consecutive victory when he gets in the ring to defend his 126-pound title against Mares. His power in both hands has helped him deliver seven knockouts in his last 10 vitorias, including an eighth-round knockout of former world champion Vic Darchinyan en xuño 2015. The 29-year-old won his world title with a unanimous decision over Claudio Marrero na súa U.S.. estrea en agosto 2013. He continued to rise in the pound-for-pound list with victories over Anselmo Moreno e Daniel Ponce De Leon to win world titles at super bantamweight and featherweight. The 30-year-old won three straight fights leading to a massive showdown with Leo Santa Cruz en agosto pasado. Mares showed the same explosiveness that made him a multiple-division world champion in a thrilling “Loita do Ano” candidate which he lost by majority decision. The always-exciting Mares will enter the ring for the first time under the tutelage of renowned trainer Robert Garciaand strength coach Luís García as he seeks to capture another world title.

In a highly anticipated featherweight blockbuster, contundente Jesus Cuellarwill make the second defense of his WBA 126-pound title against Abner Mares, a three-division champ who has compiled a staggering resume while collecting belts at 118, 122 e 126 libras. Cuellar vs. Mares is the latest in a lineup of action-oriented 126-pound showdowns assembled with the goal of unifying one of the sport’s most talent-laden divisions. It will be the fifth featherweight world championship of 2016 na canle Showtime.

On Dec. 10, there also will be a long-awaited world championship contest between two undefeated 154-pound fighters. Jermall Charlo will make the third defense of his IBF Junior Middleweight World Championship against No. 1 desafiante obrigatorio Julian Williams in a matchup of 26-year-old fighters at the top of their game. Charlo vs. Williams becomes the sixth title or world title eliminator in the 154-pound weight class in 2016 na canle Showtime, a roster featuring eight of the top-10 fighters in the division.

Sábado, Xan. 14 – SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING

Super middleweight world champions Badou Jack e James Degale are set to unify the 168-pound class. Both champions retained their titles on a doubleheader last Abril 30 na canle Showtime. Jack kept his WBC belt in a controversial draw with longtime titlist Lucian Bute that many thought Jack clearly won. Earlier that evening, DeGale successfully defended his IBF crown with a unanimous decision over mandated challenger Rogelio Medina. Jack landed 61 por cento dos seus golpes de enerxía, while DeGale connected on an astonishing 66 por cento dos seus tiros de enerxía. Agora, Jack and DeGale will face off in a long-awaited unification to determine the No. 1 fighter in the super middleweight division.

Sábado, Xan. 28 – SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING
Presented in association with Premier Boxing Champions

The most anticipated rematch in boxing will take place when Carl Framptone Leo Santa Cruz square off in an immediate rematch of a leading 2016 Loita do candidato Ano. In their first encounter Xullo 30 na canle Showtime, former super bantamweight champ Frampton moved up in weight to challenge fellow unbeaten Santa Cruz, edging the three-division titlist in a firefight. The must-see rematch will be the sixth featherweight world championship on SHOWTIME in less than 12 meses.

The co-feature pits undefeated lightweights Dejan Zlaticanin against resurgent fan favorite Mikey Garcia. Zlaticanin is making the first defense of his WBC 135-pound crown against the former two-division titlist in Garcia. The champion is the No. 1 loitador en 135 libras, while Garcia is aiming to become a three-division world champion in just his second fight back from a two-and-a-half year layoff.

Sábado, Febreiro. 11 – SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING

tetracampeão mundial división Adrien Broner will face the streaking Adrian Granados in a matchup of top-10 ranked 140-pound fighters. The flashy Broner, who has captured titles at 130, 135, 140 e 147 libras, has scored two consecutive knockouts in the super lightweight division. The hard-charging, all-action Granados, who pulled a stunning upset of then-undefeated WBC No. 1 ranked super lightweight Amir Imam in a dominating performance last November on SHOWTIME, thrives in the underdog role and has a deceiving record – his four defeats, all via split or majority decision, have come against opponents with a cumulative record of 52-1.

Sábado, Marzo 4 – SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING
Presented in association with Premier Boxing Champions

Undefeated welterweight world champions Keith Thurman e Danny Garciahave been on a collision course for more than a year. Thurman has held a version of the WBA Welterweight World Championship since 2013 but announced his arrival in March 2015 with an emphatic win over Robert Guerrero. Thurman has since defended the title twice, including most recently against former world champion Shawn Porter in a potential Fight of the Year thriller in June on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on CBS. Garcia, after conquering the 140-pound division, captured the WBC Welterweight World Championship with an impressive performance against Guerrero in January. Should Garcia defeat Samuel Vargas on Novembro. 12 in a non-title fight, he and Thurman are set to meet in a marquee unification blockbuster between undefeated champions at the pinnacle of their careers. García vs. Thurman will air live in Primetime on CBS or live on SHOWTIME.

Pero gañeino co corazón, non coa cabeza e levantei a man.

“O control de distancia e golpear forte foron as claves. Gañei a loita porque non perdín o control.

"Foi unha loita dura dende o principio,", dixo Santa Cruz.

“Elio aproveitou a ocasión.

"Estaba atraíndolle a durmir.

Estou no asento do paxaro gato.”

Lee Selby: “Mira, non é a miña natureza chamar a ninguén.

Ben, todo o mundo sabe quen é o campión do peso pluma do CMB, e é o Sr. Gary Russell.

Lee Selby: "Podo aclarar.

Gary Russell Jr: “Mira, Gústame o cinto IBF.

LEO SANTA CRUZ
“Ten grandes habilidades, grandes golpes e móvese moi ben.
Ver a outro gran loitador mexicano ir a Nova York é moi emocionante. Estou moi feliz por el. É un gran rapaz e un gran loitador.
Mikey GARCIA
“Son un loitador completo. Podo axustarme a case calquera estilo.
“Xa vin antes a Rojas. Vino cando era campión. É un bo loitador con moita experiencia. Definitivamente pode boxear e ten unha boa man dereita.
“Os dous somos boxeadores e adoitamos intentar traballar a distancia.
“Non creo que haxa ferruxe do anel porque nunca estiven fóra do ring.
“Non me arrepinto.
Non me sinto diferente.
IVAN REDKACH
“Esta é unha loita excelente para min. Achégome a un título e vou estar preparado Xullo 30.
“Teño un plan para esta loita. Verás no ring. Vou facer desta loita emocionante.
“Eu me sinto ben. Leo vese ben no ring e adestra moi ben.
“Pouco a pouco Antonio vai aprendendo e ata eu sigo aprendendo.

E/PT.

O Xullo 30 event at Barclays Center comes on the heels of last Saturday’s potential Fight of the Year thriller between Keith Thurman e Shawn Porter, a back-and-forth slugfest that generated the top grossing live gate and second-highest attended boxing event in venue history.

“This is the strongest card from top to bottom that I have promoted at Barclays Center,” said DiBella Entertainment President Lou DiBella. “Every single fight is significant and competitive, and this is a great follow up from the tremendous success that boxing had with Thurman-Porter this past weekend.”

“This will be our 19th evento de boxeo, but from top to bottom it’s arguably our best card yet,” said Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment CEO Brett Yormark. “We are excited to welcome undefeated Santa Cruz and Frampton to Brooklyn for the first time, a fight that could rival Barclays Center’s epic Thurman-Porter bout for Fight of the Year. It’s also a pleasure to welcome Brooklyn’s own Paulie Malignaggi back to Barclays Center for the fifth time and to host the return of Mikey Garcia after a two and a half year hiatus. Xullo 30 is going to be another big night for BROOKLYN BOXING.”

“We are excited to be part of Mikey Garcia’s return to the ring. Before the layoff, he was a two-division world champion and considered one of the top boxers in the world. We know he is determined to reclaim his place among the elite,", Dixo Stephen Espinoza, Vicepresidente Executivo & Director Xeral, Showtime Sports. “SHOWTIME has distinguished itself by delivering the most compelling matchups and the most important events in boxing all year long. There is no other network as committed to the sport, eo Xullo 30 evento, from top-to-bottom, is a prime example.”

Mikey GARCIA vs. ELIO ROJAS

“I expect to pick up right where I left off,” Garcia told SHOWTIME Sports reporter Jim Gray last Saturday on CBS. “I was a world champion, I was undefeated, and I still am. I didn’t leave because I was injured. I think I’ll come back even better. I’m hungrier now than I was before.

“I just have to get one fight in. This first fight with Elio (Rojas) will be somewhere between 135 e 140 libras, but I want to fight at 135 and win a title there. I want to win a title there and keep going after champion after champion. Now that all that (uncertainty) is behind me I look forward to the next stage of my career. This next stage of my career will be what people remember me for.”

“Mikey Garcia is a great fighter,", dixo Rojas. “I want to thank him for this opportunity. We are both former WBC World Champions and I expect a great fight. Con todo, all of the talk surrounding this fight has been about Mikey’s comeback and his future plans. I am no tune-up. This is also about me coming back and fighting again. He may be looking past me, but I am fully focused on him and securing the victory. I will do whatever I have to do to win, so I can move on and regain my world championship.”

Garcia (34-0, 28 Kos), de Ventura, Calif., is 28-years-old and in the prime of his career. Once considered one of the top young boxers pound-for-pound in the world, he will make his first ring appearance since he retained the WBO 130-pound title with a 12-round unanimous decision overJuan Carlos Burgos en Xan. 25, 2014. Garcia, the brother of renowned trainer Robert Garcia, has been victorious by knockout in 10 da súa última 12 fights and holds impressive victories overRoman “Rocky” Martinez, Juan Manuel López, Orlando Salido e Bernabe Concepcion.

Rojas (24-2, 14 Kos), of San Francisco de Macoris, República Dominicana, won the WBC featherweight world championship in 2009 with a 12-round unanimous decision over defending titleholder Takahiro Ao en Xapón. The 33-year-old successfully defended the title against Guty Espadas Jr. en 2010, before losing the belt via unanimous decision to Jhonny Gonzalez en abril 2012. Since the loss to Gonzalez, Rojas moved up to lightweight, onde derrotou Robert Osiobe en agosto 2014.

TONY HARRISON vs. SERGEY RABCHENKO:

“I’m thrilled to return to the ring on this big stage for my first fight in Brooklyn, and I’m ready to put on a show,"Dixo Harrison. “Fighting for a world title is my dream and I know that I have a challenge in front of me. I’m working hard in camp to get another knockout and to make my mark on the division.”

“This is the start of realizing my dream,” Rabchenko said. “America is the Mecca of boxing so it is a huge privilege for me to be asked to fight there. American fans like to see knockouts and I like to knock people out so I think they will like what they see. I think I can build a fan base there. I am hungrier than ever. I have not seen much of Harrison, but I am ready for anyone. People say he is a very good fighter with good power. I’m not worried. I have good power as well and I think I will have too much for him.”

Con só 25 anos de idade, Harrison (23-1, 19 Kos) has showed tremendous promise. He manufactured a 10-fight knockout streak from 2013 para 2015 and proved he could recover from a loss when he dominated Cecil McCalla para 10 rounds in October 2015 e deixou Fernando Guerreiro in impressive fashion in March.

Fighting out of Belaraus, Rabchenko (27-1, 20 Kos) is looking to put himself squarely into world title contention when he makes his U.S. estrearase no Xullo 30. The 30-year-old is coming off stoppage victories over Walter Calvo en maio 2015 and Miguel Aguilar in February.

Showtime EXTREME:

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI vs. GABRIEL bracero:

“I feel truly blessed to have yet another opportunity to fight in Brooklyn,", dixo Malignaggi. “I have known Tito a long time and I know he always comes to fight. We will give the Brooklyn fans a great appetizer before the terrific main event later that night in Barclays Center.”

“I’m looking to make a statement by winning this fight,” said Bracero. “Paulie and I have been friends since the amateurs and I’m thankful to have this opportunity, but he’s had his run. Now it’s time for me to have mine. This fight is going to change my life.”

Un ex-campión do mundo en 140 e 147 libras-, the 35-year-old Malignaggi (35-7, 7 Kos) will return to the ring to fight at Barclays Center for the fifth time. He has faced a slew of big names throughout his career and has been victorious over the likes of Zab Judah, Vyacheslav Senchenko e Pablo Cesar Cano. Nacido e creado no barrio de Bensonhurst de Brooklyn, “The Magic Man” was victorious twice fighting in his birth country of Italy last year after unsuccessfully challenging unbeaten Danny Garcia en agosto.

Another Brooklyn-native, Bracero (24-2, 5 Kos) comes off of a sensational one-punch knockout of rival Danny O'Connor in their rematch last October. The 35-year-old owns victories over Dmitry Salita e Pavel Miranda in addition to his first triumph over the previously unbeaten O’Connor in 2011.

IVAN REDKACH vs. GRANXERO DE TEVIN:

“I am extremely happy to be back in the ring on a big show in New York,” Redkach said. “There are so many Ukrainian fans in New York and I am thrilled to have their support and will put on a great show for them. I want to thank Leo Santa Cruz and his team for having me in their camp as we both prepare ourselves to put on tremendous performances come Xullo 30."

“I couldn’t be more excited about this fight,", dixo Farmer. “This is my Barclays Center debut and it is going to be a spectacular performance. I have called out anyone and everyone in the 130- pound division to no avail, so now I’m moving up to 135 to take on Redkach, one of the most feared punchers in the division. Redkach is an aggressive guy and I know he is coming to fight, but there is no way I leave that ring without my hand being raised. This is a fight where I can and I will make a major statement. I’m willing to fight whoever they put in front of me to inch closer to a world title opportunity and Xullo 30 is another step in that direction. I tip my hat off to Redkach for giving me this fight, but this is my time to shine.”

Nacido en Ucraína, pero loitando fóra dos Ánxeles, Redk (19-1-1, 15 Kos) began boxing at the age of six and has put together an impressive career since turning pro in 2009. The 30-year-old owns victories over Tony Luís, Sergey Gulyakevich e Yakubu Amidu. Máis recentemente, Redkach knocked out Erick Daniel Martinez en outubro 2015 and fought to a draw with Luís Cruz en abril.

Representing the fighting city of Philadelphia, Labrego (24-1-1, 5 Kos) gañou 14 bouts in a row since losing to unbeaten world champion Jose Pedraza en 2012. The 25-year-old has come on strong in recent years, upsetting previously unbeaten fighters such as Emmanuel Gonzalez, Angel Luna e Camilo Perez. Farmer dominated veteran Gamaliel Diaz in March and will make his Barclays Center debut on Xullo 30.

Undefeated and number-one ranked Julian “J Rocha” Williams ready for Jermall Charlo next

PHILADELPHIA (MAIO 31, 2016)–En maio 21, three of the four world championships in the hot junior middleweight division were contested as Erislandy Lara defended his WBA title with a unanimous decision over Vanes Martirosyan; Jermall Charlo defended his IBF title with a unanimous decision over former champion Austin Trout and Jermell Charlo scored a come-from-behind stoppage over John Jackson to capture the WBC belt.
Sitting ringside was IBF number-one ranked contender, invicto Juliano “J Rocha”Williams. Williams was a very interested observer and was interviewed on the ALTURA DE COMEZAR® broadcast with his thoughts on the happenings of the evening.
Jermell did his thing. I thought he was losing but Jermell has a clutch gene. He comes through in close fights. He knows what it’s like to be in tough. He’s doing well under Derrick James. He looked better on TV than he did live at the fight. He was losing but he was walking Jackson down. The sand was running out of the hour glass for Jackson. Jermell can punch better than his record indicates. And that style would be better for him because people always called him boring but it was nothing boring about the KO,” dixo Williams.
Lara did what he always does. He boxed and moved and he won.

I honestly didn’t think Trout would last with Jermall. I was surprised at how competitive that fight was. Jermall has every advantage over Trout on paper but fights aren’t won on paper. Trout proved something. I was actually going to congratulate him but I heard him say to Jermallsmack J Rock for me”. I don’t know what’s up with these guys. He had a chance to fight me for a whole year and he asked another man to smack me. But that’s old news Trout is out of the picture.

With that being, said the undefeated fighter from Philadelphia is focused in bring back the hardware back to theCity of Brotherly Love.
My focus is on Jermall Charlo. Vai ser unha gran loita. I think he’s a heck of a fighter. This is legacy defining. This is a real number-one contender against a real champion. This is a real mandatory. This is like Bernard Hopkins having to defend against Jermain Taylor. Or Jermain Taylor having to defend against Kelly Pavlik. Or Felix Trinidad having to fight Oba Carr. This is a real fight and I’m excited. I’m excited to test my skills against one of the best young fighters in the game.
Malia, Williams was ringside, he just wanted to observe and take mental notes of the perspective future opponents.

I didn’t get in the ring like Charles Hatley did because that’s not my style. Hatley is a talented fighter. I remember him from the amateurs but to each his own. Jermall and Jermell deserve respect and most importantly I know the difference between the two brothers. Hatley got in the ring with Jermall who has to fight me, instead of Jermell who has to fight him. That was Jermall’s moment to shine he had just won a tough fight. Everybody knows he has to fight me. There would be no need for me to get in the ring.

Even though Williams has been avoided, the powers that be in boxing can not keep Williams from realizing his dreams, and that opportunity will be coming sooner rather than later.

From my understanding we have to come to an agreement in June. I believe in the IBF. They seem to enforce their mandatory bouts. The IBF did not rank me number-one, not to have me fight for their belt. Jermall said making weight wasn’t that bad. He hired a chef. I know he’s prideful. El é un campión. He feels he’s better than me, I feel I’m better than him. There is only one way to prove it. Let’s fight.

I can’t get into details but I believe the fight will be in September as the co- main to a BIG card. I’m super excited to finally get this opportunity.
