BRISCOE AWARDS THIS SUNDAY AT 1 PM ET

FILADELFIA – After ten years of celebrating the biggest and best achievements of the Philadelphia-area boxing scene, the Briscoe Awards will change the timing of their annual event, from October to March.
“For a few years now, I’ve considered moving the awards up to the first part of the year,” said John DiSanto, founder of the Briscoe Awards. “The original Fall time slot caused a lot of confusion, because by the time we gave out the awards, the fights were old news. Moving to March will allow us to give out the awards shortly after the fight year ends. I’m a little nervous about making a change, but in the long run, the move will only make the Briscoe Awards better.”
The Briscoe Awards honor the key fights and fighters of the Philly area every year. A total of eleven awards will be give out ESTE SUNDAY MARCH 25TH AT 1 PM ET, which includes prizes for the “Lucha de Filadelfia del año”, la “Lucha de Filadelfia del año”, la “Knockout del Año”, “Amateur del Año”, “Novato del Año”, “Prospecto del Año”, “Performance of the Year”, “Photo of the Year”, y más.

FILADELFIA – Twenty year old welterweight boxer Jaron “Botas” Ennis will honored as “The One to Watch” al 11th Annual Briscoe Awards en Marzo 25, 2018. Ennis, actualmente 18-0, 16 KOs, has been turning heads ever since he turned professional in 2016. After less than two years as a professional, Boots has convinced local boxing fans that he’s destined to become a world champion.

Filadelfia, Pensilvania (Noviembre 29, 2017) – They fought as amateurs, and are both considered among the best super middleweights in the city.

2300 Arena en Filadelfia.
The eight-round bout is for the UBF All-Americas title.
The loaded show is promoted my King’s Promotions.
The main event will pit Tyrone Brunson (25-6-2, 23 KOs) contra Manny maderas (16-6-1, 6 KOs) de San Petersburgo, Florida in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.

Fighting against another Philly fighter is nothing new for Robinson as he already has a victory over Lamont McLaughlin.

“I got right back in the gym after that fight. I been working for 12 semanas. I have a new personal trainer Jermaine Clark and my new trainer Octavio Pineda,” said Brooker.
Brooker does not believe that the amateur loss to Robinson means anything going into Friday night.
“Yea, it does not mean anything. It was my 3rd amateur fight. The sparring sessions were good. I treated them like I wanted to get some revenge for losing to him, and I am very confident after those sessions. This fight for me is about getting this belt . People will see me outwork him and outclass him.”
Brooker has made his name throughout the boxing circles with his willing to fight and defeat anybody at anytime. That is evidenced by his wins over Leo Hall, John Magda, Antowyan Aikens and Gabriel Pham. Brooker also stepped up to face Elbiali, Ronald Gavril and Ronald Ellis, and he became a favorite on national television because of his tough as nails style.
“Robinson is just another guy in front of me. I been in and defeated much more experienced fighters then him. He has not have anything that I have not seen in the ring. FILADELFIA – Agosto 18, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions ha encontrado un nuevo hogar en Filadelfia. El creciente equipo de promoción hará su regreso a la Ciudad del amor fraternal., y relanzar su serie Philly Strong en 23rd Street Armory en Rittenhouse Square, Filadelfia el 21 de octubre.

La cartelera estará encabezada por Jaron “Botas” Ennis (14-0, 12KO), que ha acumulado seis impresionantes victorias en 2017 solo. Recientemente se anunció que Ennis, quien es entrenado por su padre Bozy Ennis, y administrado por el mega gerente Cameron Dunkin, será honrado en los premios Briscoe de Filadelfia por tercera vez. WASHINGTON DC. – Agosto 15, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions continúa manteniendo a su mejor talento en el ring, con Jaron “Botas” Ennis y Lee Brandun sumando victorias a sus récords Sábado en el histórico Howard Theatre de Washington DC. En el evento co-principal, Ennis derrotó al veterano Ricardo Cano por paro 40 segundos en la primera ronda de su pelea, la mejora de 14-0, 12KO. Brandun Lee impresionado en la cartelera, detener al experimentado jornalero Roy García en la segunda ronda.
