“FERIA de CAMPEONES” SANDOVAL, VAZQUEZ, AND SALAZAR WIN WBC TITLES IN AGUASCALIENTES, MX

Aguascalientes, MX (Apríl 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, cukrové Promotions presented “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Mexiko. SAN ANTONIO, TX (Apríl 23, 2018) -Tento rok Sobota TMB & PRB Entertainment presented, “Whose “O” Will Go”, another successful boxing event that took place at the Mi Mercado Event Center v San Antoniu, TX.
In the 6-round main event, James Cantu (11-0, 4 KO), porazený Jairo Castaneda (9-1, 3 KO), jednomyseľným rozhodnutím, to remain undefeated in the welterweight division. Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. S viac než 50,000 subscribers, San Antonio TV is ABC’s local digital channel which can be viewed on devices such as Rok, Amazonka, a Apple TV. Subscribers can watch their live feeds for FREE. The first boxing show to air live on the platform will be this weekend’s Whose “O” Must Go card, taking place at the Mi Mercado Event Center v San Antoniu, TX on April 28, 2018.

Baiz, who recently sparred former world champion, Ishe Smith (29-9, 12 KO), is managed by Greg Hannley na Prince Ranch Boxing. After sparring Smith, Baiz is confident he can make some noise in the super welterweight division.

 

 

 

 

“When I was in Las Vegas for Lara vs. Hurd, I had a great sparring session with former world champion Ishe Smith, who is an accomplished fighter,” said Daniel Baiz. “Smith was impressed with my work, and I know if I continue to work hard in the gym, I’ll be ready to fight for a regional title soon. I have a tough fight with Mireles on Saturday, so that’s where my focus is right now.”

Aguascalientes, MX (Apríl 16, 2018) – Opponents have been announced for Humberto “Títo” Velazco (19-1-1, 13 KO) a Damien “Cukor” Vazquez (13-0, 7 KO), who are both scheduled to fight on April 28, 2018 in Aguascalientes, MX, na “Feria de Campeones” karta, podporovaný cukrové Promotions.

Aguascalientes, MX (Február 19, 2018) – Tento rok Sobota, Na Don Haskins Center v El Paso, TX, cukrové Promotions light-heavyweight prospect, Humberto “Títo” Velazco (19-1-1, 14 KO), scored the knockout of the night, proti Tomáš “Top Dog” Williams Jr. (20-4, 14 KO).
Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mexiko, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37 značka.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Septembra 24, 2017) – Unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Cukor” Vazquez (11-0, 6 KO), makes his return to the ring on Október 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexiko. Tento boj, scheduled for 8-rounds, will mark the third time this year that Vazquez will have stepped in the ring, as he looks to extend on is winning streak. An opponent will be announced shortly.
“It’s a good feeling knowing that I’ll be back in the ring after I just fought a few weeks ago.” said Vazquez. “My last fight happened on August 31st and I feel great. Camp has started and I’m going to be ready for anyone my management team puts in front of me. I’m going to Mexico once again to mark my territory. Co-trained by former world champion, Clarence “Bones” Adams, Damien Vazquez is the younger brother of former two-time super-bantamweight world champion, Izrael Vazquez, who also serves as his co-trainer. Managed by Prince Ranch Boxing’s Greg Hannley, Baiz showed his hometown fans why he is must watch boxing.
Toe-to-toe action commenced from the opening bell as both Biaz and his opponent Calzada, went right at each other. Biaz, a southpaw, was throwing hard punches, landing his signature straight left throughout the entire fight, in addition to his powerful right hooks. Calzada, stood his ground, but was getting beat to the punch. Calzada had his moments, but was outworked by Biaz, who was determined to come out victorious in front of his hometown fans. The fight was fought in a phone-booth for four rounds and the fans were thrilled to see these two warriors go at it. Nakoniec, Biaz came out on top as the score cards read 39-37 dvakrát, a 40-36, all in favor of Daniel.

Calzada was a very tough opponent but I wasn’t going to be denied in front of all my family and friends. I know with hard work, I can put myself in a great position to land a big fight.’
