NEW YORK – November 27, 2018 – Combate Americas today announced a pair of “alternate” bouts for its much-anticipated, biggest event of the year – the “COPA COMBATE” one-night, eight-man Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) tournament that will award its featherweight (145 קילו) winner of three consecutive bouts a $100,000 grand prize at Save Mart Center in Fresno, קליפורניה. ביום שישי, דצמבר. 7.
The second annual “COPA COMBATE” tournament airs live in English in the U.S. and Canada on DAZN (10 p.m. ET p.m / 7. PT), and live on television in Spanish in the U.S. on both Univision (12 a.m. ET / PT) ורשת Univision Deportes (UDN) (12 a.m. ו / 9 אחה"צ. PT), and marks the first time in history that California State will sanction a one-night, eight-man MMA tournament.

Should any of the winners of the four quarterfinal stage tournament bouts be unable to re-enter La Jaula, the Combate Americas competition cage, for his semifinal stage bout due to injury sustained in quarterfinal stage action, one of the two tournament alternate bout winners will replace the injured competitor in the semifinal stage of the tournament.
Also announced today was a featured women’s strawweight (115 קילו) contest between unbeaten Maria Buzaglo (1-0) of Lima, Peru and relentless battler קורינה הררה (3-4-1) of Porterville, קליפורניה., ארה"ב.
The “COPA COMBATE” tournament field features eight previously announced fighters, representing eight different countries: אנדרס "הכדור" קווינטנה(15-2) של רוזוול, N.M., ארה"ב; Alejandro “Gallito” Flores (13-1) של מונטריי, אריה חדש, מקסיקו; Gaston “Tonga” Reyno (8-2, 2 NC) of Montevideo, אורוגוואי; ו Zebenzui “El Niño Roca” Ruiz (7-2) of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, ספרד; Bruno “Aquiles” Cannetti (7-5) בואנוס איירס, ארגנטינה; Latin American MMA pioneer Pablo “El Gallo” Villaseca (13-4) of Santiago, צ'ילה; בלתי מנוצח John “Ronin” Bedoya (6-0) of Bogota, קולומביה; and powerhouse Marlon “Deriko Siete” Gonzales (13-3-2, 1 NC) of Lima, פרו.

In “COPA COMBATE” preliminary bout action announced today, local police officer Evan “Pitbull” Solorio (3-2) of Fresno will face off with Jimmy “Mamba” Molina (0-0) של ספוקיין, לשטוף., USA in a welterweight (170 קילו) תחרות.
