Fight Network LIVE this Weekend – ONE: Tigers of Asia, RFA 31, M-1 Challenge 62 & Enfusion 32

Toronto | New York – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, delivers an action-packed weekend of live combat sports, beginning this Friday, October 9 at 9 a.m. ET with a live presentation of ONE Championship: Tigers of Asia from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Later that day at 10 p.m. ET, Resurrection Fighting Alliance takes over the airwaves with RFA 31: Smith vs. Marunde from Las Vegas.
On Saturday, October 10, the live action continues at 12:30 p.m. ET as M-1 Global presents M-1 Challenge 62 from Sochi, Russia, immediately followed by a live broadcast of Enfusion 32 world-class kickboxing from Gent, Belgium.
Airing live exclusively in Canada on Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. ET, ONE Championship: Tigers of Asia features a ONE middleweight championship clash between world champion Igor “Lionheart” Svirid (10-1) and undefeated Russian challenger Vitaly Bigdash (7-0). In other featured tilts, Adrian Pang(21-8-2) throws down with Peter Davis (10-3) in a lightweight bout, Ev Ting (9-3) meets Honorio Banario (8-5) in featherweight action, Ann Osman (3-1) takes on newcomer Irina Mazepa (0-0) in a women’s flyweight encounter, plus fan favorite Eric Kelly (11-1) returns for a featherweight barnburner against Japan’s Hiroshige Tanaka (10-2).
Airing live exclusively in Canada and globally in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East on Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. ET, RFA 31: Smith vs. Marunde from Downtown Las Vegas is headlined by a pair of championship clashes, as RFA welterweight champion Gilbert Smith (11-4) defends against fellow UFC veteran Bristol Marunde (16-9), while Zoila Frausto (12-4) meetsJocelyn Lybarger (5-1) for the inaugural RFA women’s strawweight title. Other matchups include a middleweight meeting between Mike Jasper (9-2) and Gabriel Checco (8-2), a bantamweight bout between Matthew Lopez (6-0) and Justin Linn (7-1), a flyweight bout between Shai Lindsey (4-0) and Joseph Peukert (7-3) and a welterweight showcase between Bojan Velickovic (11-3) andVardan Sholinian (5-1). Airing live across North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East on Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m. ET, M-1 Challenge 62 features a showdown for the M-1 featherweight title in the main event, as kingpinIvan Buchinger (29-4) defends his crown against highly touted Mansour Barnaoui (12-2). In other action, Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (26-3) takes on Kristijan Perak (8-1-1) in a middleweight bout,Kurbanali Abdusalamov (5-2) tangles with Lee Morrison (13-5) in a featherweight contest, light heavyweight Adam Yandiev (8-0) puts his perfect mark on the line against Dmitry Voitov (11-4), plus Alexey Kunchenko (10-0) looks to extend his unblemished record against Brazilian welterweight Alexandre Ramos (9-2).

NEW YORK / TORONTO (August 25, 2015) – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, is joining the  fantasy sports explosion, starting with this weekend’s special fantasy sports event celebrating the kick-off of the NFL fantasy draft season, at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey.
FNTSY Sports Network, the first and only television network devoted entirely to coverage of fantasy sports, is teaming with Monmouth Park to offer a memorable weekend’s worth of fun and informative fantasy sports activity for dedicated fantasy players and newcomers.
 
Fight Networkis dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, airing programs focused on the entire scope of the combat sports genre, including live fights and up-to-the-minute news and analysis for boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, professional wrestling, traditional martial arts, fight news, as well as fight-themed drama series, documentaries and feature films.
More than 55-million Americans are projected to play fantasy sports this year, up from more than 40-million in 2014, many of whom are combat sports fans.
“The popularity of fantasy sports is growing exponentially across all sports, including combat sports like MMA and boxing,” Fight Network vice president Chad Midgley said. “We also know that most fantasy players follow more than one sport, so there is a need for expert content in every category, including combat sports. Fight Network will have a booth at this weekend’s event with professional wrestler Eric Young as a football draft expert on Saturday, plus recent International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini the following day, in addition to other Fight Network representatives.
More than two dozen fantasy draft experts, analysts, writers, television personalities and celebrities will be participating this weekend’s unique event.  Confirmed sports celebrities include NFL Hall-of-Famer Chris Doleman, former New York Yankees and New York Mets catcher Rich Cerone, and former NY Jets wide receiver Wayne Chrebet, plus a host of highly respected fantasy sports experts including Scott Engel, Chris Vaccaro, Lisa Ann and “Tommy G” Gelati.
Many of the top players in fantasy sports will compete for the inaugural FNTSY Cup, making selections for the upcoming football season in a competitive invitation-only draft that will be open for public viewing.  Advanced fantasy players will be able to watch and hear firsthand how experts rank players to help them prepare for their own upcoming drafts, while newcomers will be introduced to the basics of how to begin playing fantasy sports.
Family Fun Day, this Sunday, will offer more access to FNTSY Network experts, as well as an opportunity to participate in a live Fantasy Football broadcast on FNTSY Radio, along with football-themed carnival activities.
Hours of operations for this weekend’s event are Saturday, 3 p.m.-7 p.m. ET, FMTSY Cup Draft followed by FLEX Draft; Sunday, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. ET, Fantasy Football Family Fun Day.

Fight Network Presents RFA 29: USA vs. Brazil  LIVE this Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 p.m. ET

TORONTO (Aug. 19, 2015) — Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, presents a live broadcast of RFA 29: USA vs. Brazil tonight at 10 p.m. ET, pitting top American prospects against top Brazilian prospects with current UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida serving as honorary coaches.
Fight Network’s live broadcast of RFA 29: USA vs. Brazil will air nationwide in Canada and globally in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The domestic U.S. broadcast airs on AXS TV.
Emanating from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, RFA 29 will be headlined by an RFA featherweight title fight between top contenders Ricky Musgrave (14-4) and Raoni Barcelos (8-1).
“RFA 29 will have a USA vs. Brazil team concept that will feature some of the top MMA prospects from each country,” stated RFA president Ed Soares. “Robbie Lawler and Lyoto Machida will be the honorary coaches for each team. In the main event, Ricky Musgrave and Raoni Barcelos will also be competing for the vacant RFA featherweight title. This entire card is stacked and I can’t wait to see what happens.”
In the co-main event, South Dakota’s own Jordon Larson (6-1) will be tasked with facing Brazilian juggernaut Ackson Junior (5-0).
RFA 29 will also feature a trio of exciting bantamweight bouts, as Terrion Ware (13-4) meetsLeandro Higo (14-2), Joey Miolla (5-1) faces Pedro Falcao (6-1) and Matthew Lopez (5-0) risks his unblemished record against Kevin Clark (4-1). Rounding out the main card is a light heavyweight showdown between undefeated Devin Clark (4-0) and Dervin Lopez (7-2).
